Get Alarmed security has not been able to deliver reliable service in the last three years, particularly in the last year. Zones keep going on the fritz, the police keep getting called(which costs me money every time, something never taken off their bill), and they continue to call me and say«There’s an alarm at your residence,» when it is now, and has always been my office. It’s confusing. Their hardware continues to fail($ 90 repair fee per pop) and need to be fixed or replaced, and they are quick to blame anything else, or to try various experiments(changing zones, etc.), all of which nets out to faulty, unreliable coverage. One thing that IS reliable: their billing. I wrote a letter explaining what would need to happen, which was immediately followed by more of the same – another failed piece of hardware, another call about an alarm at my «home» and the like. Just talking to them to cancel the account, they asked, «May I ask the reason for the cancellation.» Really?
