Green Desert Wholesale Tree Nursery

This place was so hard to find. Why? Because they’re pinpointed on the map on the wrong side of the road. I would’ve told someone who worked there is we actually had someone come out and help us. But we didnt. Walked around the grounds and spent about 30 minutes there. And no one even came out to help. What if we wanted to buy something, but had questions. Which we actually did, but too bad so sad. We ended up spending our money somewhere else because we actually got service. I guess the people that were there buying plants in bulk meant more than us who were only interested in one gardenia plant. Never coming here again. Such a waste of time.

TERRIBLE customer service! My girlfriend and I stopped by today around 11:15 to check out their nursery and buy some plants as we are re-​landscaping our entire front and backyard.
It appeared that the workers had already checked out for the day, as they were sitting in the garage eating and watching tv… even though they weren’t closing for another 45 minutes. I asked if they could give me a price on some plants and they gave me a death stare and made us feel like we were intruding. As two guys reluctantly came out to price our plants… they were talking in spanish about how much they should charge/​screw us. Luckily my girlfriend knows spanish and she called them out on it. The guy said «oh sorry, I didnt know you understood spanish.»
Unfortunately for them I work for a development company and was also scouting out new nurseries for large landscaping projects. I will not be buying from here!

Green Desert was the only nursery in the valley that had the tree that I was looking for. They had several to choose from and delivered it the same day, for a nominal fee. They were a pleasure to deal with and the price was very reasonable. My tree is waiting, in partial shade in the back yard, for the weather to cool down a bit, before I have her planted. I am very happy to have discovered this nursery and certainly recommend them.

Quality plants, trees and bushes that are gorgeous! The prices and the people who work here are so knowledgable and friendly! DeeDee and Louis are so knowledgeable and helpful.

I highly recommend Green Desert Nursery. I have been working on a large landscaping project for several months in Rancho Mirage and have been purchasing my landscape material from Green Desert. I have found everyone there to be friendly and helpful. Their prices and selection are both excellent. Plus, they have delivered my orders either on the same day or the next day at the very latest, for a modest delivery fee. Deedee in the front office is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Freddy is great too for helping you walk around and find what you are looking for.
