Never enough opened check stands. Long lines with only 2 checkers, really!!! No matter what time I go, this is always the issue. It’s annoying & I don’t know why their management hasn’t addressed this.

If it wasn’t the closest supermarket to my house, I wouldn’t shop here for the general lack of customer service at this store. Overall, the staff is inattentive to customers, doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t smile, or greet/speak to customers as they’re checking them out, mostly because they’re treating work like their own personal social hour. Cashiers and managers tend to go over and loiter at cash registers having personal conversations with each other instead of being attentive to the customer. Today, when I went in to buy flowers, we were checking out and the cashier greeted us but then an employee, Ilyana, interrupted and had a completely frivolous conversation with the cashier the whole time we went through the purchasing transaction. My husband and I had to interrupt their conversation to ask a question. Then, we needed to borrow a pen to sign the birthday card we just finished purchasing from the store, and Ilyana went to grab one from her pocket but then laughed and asked the other employee next to her if he had one to lend us since the pen she had was a nice one and didn’t want to lose it. This was completely ridiculous and insulting since we were going to use it while standing there at the register. And although she walked off for a moment, in the few minutes we took to use the other employee’s pen to sign the card, she was already back at another register striking up another conversation with yet another cashier. It’s just another example of how invisible and insignificant customers are to these employees. Customer service here is non-existent, on the whole.

I like the place, its clean, it has most of the time great specials. The employees are always asking you if there’s anything you need. Very efficient people at check out, the one thing they lack of, its that when you go at night and some approval its needed from the manager !!, first it holds back the line and the manager takes its time to come, and after they give the approval they don’t open an other register… Maybe be the mngr. needs to be more efficient.

Recently, to take care of the slow line issue, three lines are now labeled«Quick Express» with colorful signs. Unfortunately, this does not actually make the lines faster, any more than me putting up a sign that says«Affluent!» gives me any more money, or a framing a poster of an athlete makes me more fit.

I like to for the meat department. Good meat at great prices. But the staff at the registers are very rude. Lady by the name of sarah never greated me. Very dull and when she gave me my receipt I said thank you. She completely ignored me and started scanning the person behind me items. Wow maybe lady needs retraining. Extremely rude.

Extremely well-managed store. The manager is on-the-floor — additional cashiers, cleanups, etc. all very efficient. Store well-stocked — shop the specials of course for the best buys. Fairly limited selection in bakery. Open at least some holidays(Thanksgiving this week it is open). There is a convenient can/bottle recycling booth in the parking lot that gives you a voucher to redeem at Staters.

One of my favorite grocery store brand. I come to this location frequently for most of my groceries. Their customer service is good, I feel like they will actually help me I I ask… Ahh, it feels good when someone bags your groceries it just makes it more convenient for the customer.

The manager, staff, and everyone here are AWESOME! I’m serious, I’ve never been to a grocery store where everyone was so helpful and kind. We were here for Coachella weekend(heat exhausted and happy to take a shuttle to anywhere remotely civilized.) They offered us waters, let us use bathrooms, and made sure we were able to find anything we needed. Most locals would seem annoyed that so many dirty 20-something year olds were swarming their stores but the staff at Stater Bros were more than happy to help us no matter how sweaty or how badly we had to use a real flushing toilet. Thanks guys, your customer service is outstanding and that’s what makes a great business.

By the second day of Coachella we were intensely craving a salad, so we drove around looking for a grocery store. We didn’t even know what Stater Bros was, but after Googling it, I realized it was a «full service supermarket». After entering the store we realized it was a huge, cheap grocery store that had almost everything we wanted for the rest of the trip. We were directed to the salad bar where we made ourselves the most amazing salad! It tasted soooo good and had all sorts of delicious toppings! I’ve been craving another one ever since. My other friends also got tasty sandwiches in their deli section, which helped us all be totally prepared for our long day ahead!

Stater Bros. Is always a good place to head too when you need some food or a few beers. I love the candy isle that they have

Stopped in here once for Coachella supplies. Ralph’s is a better store than Stater — the bakery is better, the fruit selection is better, etc.
