Cloud 9 Inn LAX

Horrible hotel, and the staff is worse than can be imagined. After speaking with them I chose not to stay. They said my card wouldn’t be charged, yet they charged it anyway. I disputed, but because I had filled out the check-​in form, they lied to my credit card company and said I stayed. I guess I get to play for this Roach infested hotel after all.

Such a rude management or (owner) I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you wanna get yelled at and put $ 100 in a nasty place. they don’t even respect the customer and show them the room… The lady said I can’t show you the room you might be a homeless and you just wanna use the restroom!!!
I still can’t believe she said that such an asshole.

I stayed here for about a week when I went to visit someone in LA and I needed a cheap place to stay at the last minute. This motel was not as bad as I thought it would be. It has no microwave or fridge, though. Could not get the safe to open. I asked for a non-​smoking room and got a smoking one, but that was ok. The room was fairly clean and so was the bedding. The wifi sucked, though. Half the time it did not work at all. The man who ran the place refused to tell me his name, then he reluctantly said it was «Jack». I recommend you taking your laptop/​ipad/​phone with you when you leave the room, even if you’re just going down the street. At least 3 people in two other rooms left their doors wide open and were sitting in their room half naked for some reason. Weird. Air conditioner worked well. Vending machine gave cold drinks. I would stay here again.

Do you love the color of dijon mustard? How about teal/​turquoise? WELL THEN DO WE HAVE THE PLACE FOR YOU! Turquoise and mustard for days! Love bare walls and no tv reception? Great, where is your money now?
Seriously though, don’t stay here. The carpet is dirty and there are stains all over it (seems like at least one person died in there), nothing can be trusted. I’m also pretty sure we saw 3 Asian hookers downstairs at the vending machine.
The place is called Cloud 9, I would rate it no higher than cloud 3

I like this hotel this isn’t the best because it has a tiny toilet… Also the bathroom has only one sink but we had a room for five people, the beds are squeaky and the don’t have a refrigerator and no microwave, people who like to swim Warning: THERE IS NO POOL! That does not being down their grade for me but for some people it does. This is a hotel where you would only want to sleep in. Altogether its 3 stars.

Staying in this motel was horrible. I asked for a non-​smoking room and I am pretty sure I was given a smoking room.
The room was disgusting. I had a long black hair in the shower, a bloody burger on the bathroom door and a pubic hair on the bathroom door.
Overall, staying there was a horrible choice.

The best if you’re looking for a cheap hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I especially appreciated the flat screen TV and free Wi-​fi. I do wish they have a mini fridge. If you’re looking for ice, try downstairs near the soda machine.

If i could put a zero i would. The indian lady in the lobby was very rude to us and used threats like kicking us out with out a refund all because we wanted to cancel one room. They sit behind a bullet proof glass like you see inside a bank… which tells you how bad it gets in the area. Not cheap enough for the quality of the stay. The room was tagged all over and the tub was cracked. Doors looked as though they have been kicked in. Parking is ok but just hope you have a compact car… its very tight. As long as my room was made every night… i forgot about all thee above… but i WILL NOT stay somewere like this again. :(

My advice to anyone planning to or even thinking about staying here is to turn around and look elsewhere.
First, I called the day before my arrival to see what time I could check-​in and they told me 12pm but when I got there they said I would have to wait until after 1pm. It wouldn’t have mattered so much if I hadn’t purchased tickets to a show at 1:00pm when they told me what time check-​in was originally.
Second, I booked a non-​smoking room but you could clearly smell burnt cigarettes and not to mention they had an ash tray on the tv stand. I also had no towels at all in my room and had to have them brought up.
Third, I was told by the Indian man himself that if my two friends (who are from LA) were to come upstairs to my room that he would call the cops and have me arrested and I would not be refunded my money. Still can’t believe that happened to this day.
I hope this review helps anyone in the near or distant future.

terrible experience. i booked 2 room for me and my friends but they gave me only 1 suite with 2 rooms without a door separation!

Probably the best if you are looking for a cheap one. nice room with 2 clean beds! don’t turn on the tv if you have children in the room to avoid porn!!!

This place has the worst customer service! The woman who checked me in did not even greet me. She informed me the hotel is for 2 people only, then on 3 separate occasions asked me if it was just me and one other in the room. Its a total dive, sleazy, run down looking building. The front desk barricaded by a piece of plexi-​glass. The elevator felt like it was about to break down at any moment, no way it would have passed inspection. The room was NOT as depicted in the pictures. It room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non-​smoking. The room was not clean! The carpet was stained and dirty and there was toothpaste spatter on the mirror in bathroom. I had to sleep on top of the bed linens because I did not trust that they were actually washed.
The worst part is that the whole building is very loud. The walls are paper thin so I could hear the conversation of our neighbors perfectly, as well as music from across the building. The building sits on a busy street so I got to listen to the traffic going by all night, I got zero sleep all night.

This hotel was decent. There were some sketchy things going down outside, looks like the manager was trying to call the cops on some people that were causing trouble… But you are staying in Inglewood! What did you expect? I actually thought it would be worse than it was. There was a room with two clean beds, no bed bugs and a clean bathroom to crash at after partying so we didn’t end up with a DUI. The beds were surprisingly comfy and the heater worked exceptionally well. Kept us warm on a drunken winter’s night.
That’s about all I needed. Cloud 9 wasn’t all that bad.
