Outstanding tacos … Cabeza tacos! Packed with meat and must be slow-cooked because the meat falls apart. Burrito is the bomb, … loaded … and tastes amazing. Great for that late night craving … I go to get the big burrito fix in late evenings.

Nope! Everybody down there must be relatives of the owners because I enjoy a good taco, burrito, or torta and the burrito I had here was gross! I neeeever judge a place by its cover I’ve eaten good or great food from food trucks, whole in the wall places, and street vendors and have had better experiences than this place… the lengua was bland no flavor, the beans were just tasteless mush, and the buche?! The buche must of been past it’s expiration date. I have a strong stomach and I’m always in for weird and different foods but the food here made me nauseous! once again the buche was disgusting the adobada tacos were boring… nowhere near enough salsa… And the asada was so so never again! 1 obligatory star

La Lumbre Tacos is a Mexican hole in the wall in the heart of Inglewood that serves one beast of a carne asada burrito! The area around might not look all that pleasant to everyone, especially the billards bar next door that attracts most of La Lumbre’s customers! But, come on, this isn’t a place you would bring your lady for a date, it’s the spot where you go to answer your mexican alley food cravings! The carne asada burrito is packed with meat, beans, cheese, and no veggies; each bite is just pure protein goodness.

It’s a love and hate kind of thing but I mostly love you. =) Ohhh my tacos and flautas… Please read prior reviews. CONS: –Sometimes the outdoor seating area is dirty. –Next to a night club –Limited parking PROS: –I have been in a flautas mood and it hits the spot every time! I wish they would stick to one type of tortilla though. It gets switched up too often which alters the taste. –Fresh slices of avocados on top of my flautas! –Very friendly service. –Carne asada is always a great choice. –My clients always eat the shrimp tacos which I never tried but they say it’s «Freaking BOMB!» I’ll take their word for it. So give that a try as well. I will always be a fan of La Lumbre when I’m working.

Excellent value — haven’t been disappointed yet in a year or so worth of visits — I look forward to my nail appointments as I come here also — chicken flautas, carnitas torta or the shrimp tacos are favorites… Of course a large horchata for refreshment and a handful of homemade tortillas to take home — yummy!!!

So it’s 12:10AM and I’m headed southbound on Prairie in the city of Inglewood on my way to Tacos Mexico, I heard there open 24 hrs. Though on my way I see La Lumbre Tacos and a grade A rating in the window so I decided to try it. I had an Asada burrito and a can of 7-UP which came to be 7.50 even. The burrito actually had a really good flavor to it. It was outdoor seating only and the place is right next store to a night club. LA Llamarada which provided some good thump-in accordion music while I was eating. The only thing is, this area is not that great especially at this time of night. Despite me knowing that I decided to try it anyway. So if you decide to go please be aware of this.
