I write this review with tears in my eyes. I’m so sad that Wendy is not in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My one and only sister got married in Marina Del Rey, and I knew I needed to get my hair done. I Unilocaled a salon, found Lattitudes, and booked an appointment. I’ve had appointments with stylists who were late, talked too much, gossiped, took long breaks, over booked clients, and the list goes on.
Wendy was none of those things. I had her full attention for almost two hours. She analyzed my hair; explained why I might have dry scalp, helped me with my split ends, deep conditioned my hair, and gave me the best press and curl I’ve ever had in my life.
When my husband came and picked me up, he noticed how happy I was and immediately noticed how full, shiny, and healthier my hair looked.
If you’re in the neighborhood, please consider giving the ladies at Lattitudes your patronage. I really hope you’re as satisfied as I was with my service.

From the time I booked my appointment to the finished style– ALL WORLD CLASS SERVICE! Very professional! They genuinely care about their clients and take customer service very seriously. Providing a comfortable and clean environment is priority. If you are a nervous person when getting your hair done– THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I have extreme anxiety issues and I was looked after like a family member and my concerns were taken seriously.

Went to bed on a Thursday night knowing that for the life of me i do not want to have the duty of combing my hair while on a small business/​vacy trip. So With positivity and wishing that Friday morning I will find an AA hair salon with openings, good reviews and the time to do a full weave on short notice. With great energy In the universe I had the pleasure of speaking with and meeting two wonderful and professional young woman Wendy and Jae the young lady who gave me a great new look, hair knowledge, good conversation, and great customer service from the first time we talked to saying good bye after a job well done on a Friday and short notice. My hair was flawless and laid. The price was right for a great outcome and company. I’m not a salon goer (meaning i slap a store bought perm for 20+years until going natural for the last 6mnths) getting my first weave and Jae made me comfortable and had great natural hair knowledge. Thank you Jae for everything, see you when its time for the touch up.

I had a wonderful experience at Lattitudes. I moved to California about a year ago and had a difficult time with finding a hair stylist. I am so glad that I found this salon because the service that was given to me was great and the atmosphere was as well. I had the pleasure of having Jae style my hair and she did an awesome job. I had never straightened my hair before after going natural and I almost thought it would be impossible to do especially because I also struggled with keeping moisture in my hair. But Jae knew exactly what to do for my hair and she was so informative on maintaining my style in between appointments and also with how to style my hair in its natural state and my hair has never felt better! Jae is Awesome and I can’t wait to go back.

They literally can work with any kind of hair ! :) my hair is hard to curl, very thing, and I have a lot ! Not to mention it’s loooong! Jae knew exactly what to do and curled and styled my hair beautifully!
The salon has warm colors so it really gives off a relaxing mood! I love the detail Wendy put into the salon.

PHYSICAL CONDITION OF SHOP: very neat, clean, warm interior, and good conditioned tools and furniture.
AREA: reminds me of a mom & pops/​town/​calmer block
VIBE OF WORKERS: great. No loud mouth young girls talking about you or whispering older women gossiping about «Shirley Ann husband from down the street» drama.
All in a wrap I came in not knowing what to expect as far as the environment and left out feeling confident I’d be back. Wendy is the owner and just as the previous reviews explain… she is amazing. Her spirit, experience, technique and professionalism made me feel welcomed!

Lattitudes is a warm and inviting salon. Jay performs fantastic work and is all business. She makes her clients feel at home. Jay is able to style your hair wherein you are given a contemporary look that is moveable (and one’s hair is not stiff from having a can of hairspray applied).
You will walk out of the salon looking like you are ready for the runway!

I love this salon. The owner Wendy is super sweet. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing. I started coming here in 2010 and just returned back after a little hiatus a few weeks ago. My short cuts are always sleek and smooth (Wendy)! I would definitely recommend this place as a hot salon in Inglewood. Whenever I need to get my hair back on track I can always rely on Wendy.

This salon is so classy. Very impressive for this area. The staff is very informative, and skilled on hair care. The owner Wendy does the bomb cuts, with healthy hair care FIRST.

I’ve been in LA for a couple of years now and have had the hardest time finding a hairdresser. Either they couldn’t style, or couldn’t cut, or both. Wendy is so awesome. I’m so happy that I found her. I also liked the fact that my time with her was divided between 3 other people. Thank you Wendy. I will be a returning customer.

Staff:
The staff are very friendly and polite. The owner, Wendy is really nice and Barbara is the sweetest!
I go to Paraleese who is AMAZING. She’s been doing my hair for two years. I met her while she was in school and followed her here. She is very detailed oriented and works with the client to accomplish a look that suits them.

I have mixed feelings about Aveda, you either strike gold with the stylists or you’re left pissed at the cut they gave you. I’ve been going here for about 2 years and about 50% of the time, I’m really happy with the cut… but the other 50% I’m just disappointed. My two favorite stylists are Russell and Paraleese, super nice and very detail-​oriented. These will be the ONLY two that I make appointments with from now on. Paraleese can handle a flat iron like no other and Russell is perfect at doing exactly what you ask of him, though he needs to work on his punctuality a bit.
Good thing Russell doesn’t work here because Para is always on time.
Atmosphere:
It isn’t like most salons that play loud techno music and you can barely hear what your stylist is telling you. Which is good since «bold cut» and «bowl cut» sound very similar muffled under the sounds of Skrillex. You can actually have a conversation with your stylist and those around you.
It’s a very welcoming, relaxing, and well decorated salon.
Parking:
Metered. Make sure to bring quarters or your credit card.
Overall:
This is a great salon offering great services for great prices. I get coloring, a trim, blow drying, and styling for almost under $ 100. Paraleese knows how to work with my curly and tangled Asian American hair. And as always, I walk out looking and feeling like I just stepped out of an Herbal Essence commercial.
(Except without the suggestive «YES! YES! YES!» part.)
