service has been good for the most part — had to make a few trips back and forth. The ladies there are really nice and helpful and tried to make the process alittle faster when it gets busy

Every time I hace been here everyone has always been super helpful, with getting the right size etc. The Parking can be bad, people are complaining of service when they go right before school starts don’t expect not to wait When there are 20 other parents buying their kids uniforms. Go before or when school starts.

Horrible service from ALL employees including management!!! unbelievable… i will NEVER come back to this place, they’re overpriced and have no customer service skills but how can you expect good service from employees when management talks to customers like crap. if you need uniforms please do yourselves a favor by supporting a different business, maybe then the owners will hire and train better employees.

A week ago I purchased two skirts for my daughter as she started her new school. The skirts were brand new, same size, no problems. After wearing both skirts, one of the skirts seem to be a smaller even though they were labeled the exact same size. I went back to show the salesman and manager if I could make a switch for the exact same size and show the differences between the skirts. The manager stated they were the same but if you held them together you can clearly see there was a difference. He said the elastic was just worn on one compared to the other but how can one be worn if they are both new? He was disrespectful and couldn’t make a simple switch. What also didn’t help was traveling from East Los Angeles to Inglewood to get this type of customer service. I was better off buying the skirt from the local neighborhood vendor for a cheaper price rather than going over here.

Michael’s is a mad house at the beginning of the school year and to be expected so no big deal. But when the owner pulls people out of the back of the line to be helped and looks at you standing there and says they were next, that is unacceptable. I know they are not lacking in business since many are forced to suffer their overinflated prices to get the correct logos for their uniforms. But the surrounding stores are more reasonably priced and will often sell the same patterned skirts and jumpers. I left today and know I will have to return for my children’s items with their school logo but I will go somewhere else for their other items.

I am inclined to believe that schools must be getting one hell of a kickback from this place, because their customer service is non existent. WHY DO SCHOOLS KEEP USING THIS PLACE? I flat out refuse to shop here, last tear after I paid over 300 $ for my sons uniforms, they had the audacity to ask me to wait outside until my order was ready. IT WAS OVER 100°, OUTSIDE,

Michael’s is all about customer service and satisfaction. It reminded me of being a kid in the 70’s and the way stores «used to» be.
Michael’s far exceeded my expectations. The line was not long and then we were paired with a wonderful, patient and smart young lady. Sorry, don’t remember her name :(. She took over and knew exactly what we needed and we were in and out of there in about an hour. Being new at this, we had no idea what was going on. All we had to do was tell the young lady our daughter’s size, the name of our school and she handled the rest. I even talked to Michael himself about how wonderful the experience was. We will be back whenever we need uniforms and we will exclusively use Michael’s.

terrible customer service… i would not recommend this store at all. they do not deserve any stars at all

I do not recommend this place, the prices are so high and the quality is so cheap. I found this other uniform store called Carrusel and they have a much better quality and their prices are reasonable. I have been going to Carrusel for almost three years now and I love it.

The uniforms are completely overpriced, I payed $ 66.79 for two shirts. The people are nice, however I had a difficult time telling them what I wanted. The dressings rooms are very uncomfortable, you can see people changing because the door is too short.

This place is very «middle of the road». I saw many dirty uniforms (I guess they were for try on). I can’t imagine why they would look so bad. At the same time, the customer service was superb. With that being said, I bought five pairs of pants, one cardigan and five polos… oh and two pairs of shorts and spent $ 276.97!!! TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SIX DOLLARS two days prior to the first of the month. [Sigh.]

AVOID THIS PLACE! As previously stated, they do not deserve ANY stars all. They are rude, lazy and uninterested in servicing the customer. My salesperson kept insisting that my school wore the nylon PE short rather than the jersey. She repeatedly pushed these on me with no logo, until I refused to purchase them. Suddenly, she found the correct jersey short with logo. Each item continued in this manner, with her telling me what I would be buying, including the wrong plaid, despite it clearly being labeled on the wall. Let me just say, I am a lifer in the Catholic School System. with a seventh grade daughter. I never thought I would miss the little old ladies from Sue Mills. Anyone remember them? At least they knew there stuff. Needless to say, as a resourceful Catholic school gal, I will find another outlet for my future uniform needs.

Really? Honestly? Why is this place our only option? The lines are ridiculous, prices are expensive and stains are hard to come out! C’mon I would rather go to Target!

I went there today and all I have to say is that this place needs more organization. The inside is very dirty, people cut in front of others, as well some of the employee will pass you and help someone else that has been there shorter period of time. I waited about 15 minutes to be helped. Some lady was complaining about not receiving her jacket in which the employee told her that they don’t know when they are getting the shipment. This place needs to get it together!!!

Mini me needs a smaller size
Although this place is sort of a monopoly I always find what I need. Michael’s School Uniforms is very basic in and out, no hastle finding what you need. You walk in and on the counters are sheets of the schools you are looking for, Michael (the owner) calls his employees and they come to help you out and pull the uniforms you need. There is a little dressing room for the kids to try on the uniforms. Every year I come in here to buy uniforms it’s easier than going to the mall and spending all day deciding what to get for your kid. It’s also much cheaper, you spend a couple hundred bucks and your kid is set for the school year. The shop is air conditioned which is a plus in the summer time, but bring quraters to park on the street because that’s all the meters take. Also, Michael is a business man, he’s there to get what you need and get you in and out of his store, so people stop complaining, time is money!

They’re so friendly and expensive!!! But… Where else you gonna go for school uniforms which meet the specifications of the schools? At least they’re nice while they’re helping you spend your money! Anything for my kids!!!

This place is horrible. The owner stands at the front directing and scowling at the customers. Prices are extremely inflated. Everything about this place speaks wrong. There is no organization and zero concern for experience. It’s time for someone to give this dump a run for its money. Why all Inglewood schools are locked to this place is concerning. Do I smell some unethical business practice with a council member? Wouldn’t be surprised. People wake up and shop at establishments that show some regard for your money. I know I will! Unilocalers where are you? There has to be more people who feel some type of way about this place, whether good or bad please post something so that people are informed. Otherwise what’s the point! Now I see how the owner can afford the LMU tuition for his kids, on the back of yours!!!

The store is very dirty and the regular staff is very rude.
I can’t believe this is the only place I can buy uniforms for my kids.
I will asking my school why the archdiocese allows this place to have a monopoly on school uniforms. They are over priced. You have to come back a week later to pick up embroiderer items.
There is no parking.
I drove all the way back to the store to pick up my daughters school sweater that was embroiderer. I waited for the rude women at the desk come back and tell me they couldn’t find the sweater and that they will send one out to the school the next day. I told them I wasn’t going to pick up the sweater from the school. I drove all the way to the store to pick up the sweater now. The rude woman told me then I could wait an hour to have another sweater embroiderer. I asked for a manager and he was finally able to locate the sweater Im the mess of the store.
Please write your school and ask them to use a different store to spend your hard earned money at.
The only positive thing about this place is the temp help the hire at the end of summer for the up coming school year. They are a bunch of young gals who really try hard to help you out. But besides that DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE IF YOUT DON’T HAVE TO.

Why cant we give minus stars this would be –20 stars… I loathe this place. Come on Saint Monica HS and CCS why are you still using this place? Everything about this place is abhorrent: the prices, the service, They are a disaster and have a monopoly. I wish I could figure out how to make this stuff and not have to use this disgusting money pit. I have too many messed up orders and issues to list them all here. I’m going to find a way to not use this money laundering crap hole.
