Family owned, friendly service, reasonably priced, greasy(in the best way possible), hole-in-the-wall Mexican food. I’ll be back!

When my husband and I are feeling lazy, not wanting to cook and craving Mexican food I come here. Mainly for their burritos. I LOVE the burritos and when I was pregnant that’s all I wanted! I’ve been coming here for awhile now. The staff has never been unfriendly and the food is ready pretty fast. Love their horchata and Jamaica and the fact that they sell Mexican Coke. Will continue to come when the cravings hit and the laziness settles in.

Horrible service tonight, called my order in and they told me 15 – 17 min my food will be ready, then my wife goes and 40 minutes later is still waiting at the restaurant and no food and the cashier just«oh we are just busy», just horrible service

My favorite to go spot whenever me and my husband have to stop by inglewood. The food is delicious and best of all they have Menudo :) which is hard to find a place with good Menudo. The staff is great and talkative. Would recommend if your in the area especially if you love Menudo.

I recently moved to the area and found this place. I have eaten there several times over the past two months. Every time I’ve been there I’ve been pleased. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent and the beer is cold. I really like the refried beans. The Carne Asada is fantastic. Portions are very large and the prices are more than fair.

So I recently moved to Inglewood(I live near downtown), and my while searching for good places to eat my girlfriend came across Charley’s. So after work yesterday I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Super(Charley?) Wet Burrito then patiently waited at my table. The cashier was extremely friendly but not too talkative(YES — perfect combo). I want to give him my cash, he wants to give me my food, let’s all have a good ‘ol time and get down to business… which is me eating a goddamn delicious burrito — but I will get to that later. Atmosphere: While I was waiting I noticed that all sorts of people were coming into this place: Really well dressed people as well as construction/painting peeps just getting off work. Obviously the popularity of this place drew a wide audience(good sign) following the siren call of tasty tasty food. The cashier who took my order brought over some chips and salsa, and I calmly listened to the ambient music while watching something on Telemundo that I did not quite understand. Let me tell you something real quick North America: When it comes to soap operas we have got to get our act together — the Central/South American soap opera technology is way ahead anything we have. Food: So I am 6’3″ 250lbs guy. I am used to my fair share of big meals, but this guy brings over a 3+ lbs burrito of amazing proportions and density. I was taken aback — confronted if you will — almost intimidated by the sheer size of this prodigious culinary masterpiece of chicken, rice, beans, avocado, lettuce and diced tomatoes wrapped in a warm tortilla smothered in sauce and cheese. My immediate thoughts were, «holy god, ok I will only eat half of this and then take the rest home to eat for breakfast tomorrow». So let me tell you what happened… I got half way through, and that part of the brain that tells you to make room for desert was just like«yeah the area of the stomach normally reserved for desert said it’s cool for you to park the rest of the burrito in that empty space for now». And indeed I ate the rest of that gigantic burrito — it was soooo tasty. Final Verdict: I will definitely be back, although I feel like I need to send out a warning about that burrito. I went home and IMMEDIATELY fell into a deep food coma — like world war 3 could have broken out and I would have slept through it — food coma. Excellent food, very reasonably priced, and good service. This place gets 5⁄5 in my book.

I like everyone, the people are nice. The food is great! And if you need some high performance advice, there are plenty of car buffs that assemble here! One of the cashiers/cooks knows a good amount of cars also. But yeah the food is awesome!

Tacos and burrito was really good, the staff and overall feel is uncomfortable. The wait was kind of long. The horchata and Jamaica is authentic, but i would prefer it be closed up, not just a large open vat.

For christ sake, someone point me to a stand out burrito somewhere in Inglewood! This is another example of not bad, but not great. Still trying to understand why outside of La Azteca and a few spots in Long Beach, great Carne Asada burritos are so hard to find in LA, smh.

For several years, every time I’ve gone to Charley’s I’ve gotten the chicken wet burrito!!! The chicken is delicious, tender, and nicely shredded. The sauce is reeaaally good!(In my opinion, it’s rare finding somewhere that has tasty sauce on their wet burritos). And there’s guacamole, sour cream, and shredded lettuce on the side. With its size and delicious taste, their chicken wet burrito is well-worth the cost($ 6.50 w/tax). The only reason Charley’s didn’t get 5 stars from me is because their chips and salsa never taste good. They come along with the burrito and taste as if they’re fried 2 or 3 times. Even so, I’ve been going here since my husband and I started dating in high school, and have watched the employees(siblings) grow up… I’ll always be a fan !!!

Best whole in the wall Mexican place I’ve found in years! Carne asada is bomb Cheese quesadilla, generous and perfectly cheesey. Guacamole is simply authentic. Come hungry.

Great eatery! Stumbled it on Unilocal on our way to the Chelsea Handler show at the Forum. Unassuming location, venue appearance(was missing the«h» so the name looked like Carleys), but our food was great! reasonably priced(carnitas burrito $ 6, chicken enchilada/taco plate, beans rice something like $ 9). We loved the food, was excellent like others have stated. A definite go to location especially on the way to the forum or near the airport.
