I decided to walk in this 12÷23÷15 to see what type of hats the store offers and educate myself on the styles. I was followed and stared at the entire time as if I was a thief and when I went to ask a question the response was was more than rude. The guy yelled, turned his back to me and brushed off my question. I felt more than disrespect today. I’m a 27 y/o African American Male and for those who may inquire of what I was wearing, I had on tailored designer jeans, palladium boots and long trendy sweater from H&M. If you experience this type of treatment when going to this store please document it. Happy holidays

They have a ‘great’ selection of hats at very reasonable prices. I have always been treated well. I love my hats!

THESEGUYSARETHEGREATEST! I just bought a great pair of Lucchese boots here and my and could not have had better service. My girlfriend bought a pair of low-top boots and had an equally excellent experience. These guys are knowledgeable and accommodating without being pushy or overwhelming. I cannot give them any greater praise without sounding like a shill. If you’re apprehensive about buying boots in Inglewood DONTBE. World Hat and Boot Mart is on the city’s unexpectedly charming main drag, Market st. which far exceeds the infamous rough and tough reputation, Inglewood has attained over the years. What more can I say… If you’re looking for a WIDEVARIETY of boots or hats on the westside of town, or any part of town for that matter, this is without a doubt the best place to go. Truly.

Looking for boots earlier today, something with a little style and color — had this joint recommended to me as a place with good selection. And it is – boots of every type and color, and I bought a pair of purple boots to replace my old red boots. I don’t know if it helps — I’m a middle-aged white man, and two reviewers below, men of color, commented that they were followed about in the store. They followed me too — I think they were trying to be helpful. YMMV.

I am an older person of color, working near by the store the other day and stopped in. I was in my work uniform. They were very rude to me. I felt like I was a teenager again and the workers were following me because they felt that I was about to steal from them.

World Hat & Boot Mart is HUGE! A friend lost his favorite hat we bought last year from Titanic on the Venice Boardwalk. They didn’t sell it anymore so we looked high and low for hat stores. Someone recommended this store to us, so off we went! It is HUGE! Every hat imaginable and tons of boots. We showed the man working there a picture of the hat, and he found the exact one immediately and it cost less than the missing hat! I can see how the workers/owner here would be perceived as rude but I think it just may be a culture thing or a language barrier. I’d shop there again!
