John Hay Cigars

Great store. Visited this weekend while the wife and kids perused Kettle Kitchen Village. Not a HUGE selection, but fit the bill I was in the market for. Most of the cigars sold here were their own John Hay brand cigars and they had a size and yes flavor (not really my thing) for just about everyone. I purchased one of their 6X47 hand rolled with a maduro wrapper. I usually go for a fuller bodied smoke, but that medium bodied stoge with it’s PA Broadleaf wrapper, binder and filler mixed with some Dominican hit the spot. Like their website says, they aren’t the most beautiful but for about $ 4.00 a stick I feel they are worth every penny. I also bought one of the Ambassador torpedos also in maduro (about $ 6.50) and a Sons Of Anarchy stick that I haven’t had a chance to smoke yet; but I am sure both will be great as well. The staff person though young was a great help and even gave me a light when my torch lighter unexpectedly ran out of butane. If you’re not local, they also sell online @
