Tucked in the adorable town of Intercourse PA sits Kling House Family Restaurant! Very welcoming atmosphere with down home cooking with a bit of upscale flare. Had the Crème Brûlée French Toast with fruit & loved it!

WOW!!! What a place! I’m in love with this country style restaurant! We were on the road for a few hours before we started to get a bit hungry and we walked around the town and one of the locals in the gift shop recommend us going there! The place is a giant old family house converted into a restaurant and is pretty popular amongst the tourists and the locals. It has an instant country feel when you walk in with the décor, big fire place lit, floral wallpapers and cute farm style figurines that are displayed throughout the room. Our server was this sweet girl named Lou, who is excellent at her job, she was very friendly and helpful and always made sure that we were going well. The menu is good, so many varieties of food to choose from, also check the specials board! I ended up ordering off the specials board and got the shredded pork served on a bed of sauerkraut and mashed potato. It was amazing and for desert we shared the shoo fly pie which was soooo sweet but so delicious! I can’t wait to come back here again!

We visit the area a few times a year and always make it a point to eat here. The turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo is tasty. The turkey Ruben is very good too! Service is very nice and the setting is really comfortable. We will continue to make this stop whenever we visit.

Do not waste your money. Just finished up dinner with Mrs. Claus. Terrible horrible restaurant. First we were 18 people in our party. One man was sick and could not have any lemon. They charged almost $ 3 for a bottle of ginger ale. Then we were told we can only have one roll per person at first. We were allowed refills of rolls and plates of food after the other tables were served. What were we steerage? Tiny tiny room for 18 people. We had to climb under a table to go to use the bathroom! Not recommended

Amazing coffee. Food was cooked perfectly. Waitress Janelle was wonderful. Portions are just right. Wish there was a pace like this back home in California.

11÷21÷15 If you eat at Klings Kitchen: while the food is delicious, beware if there is a wait and there are no beepers left. We were told the wait would be forty minutes. We asked if there was a beeper available as others had them and we were told there weren’t any left. At no time were we told not to leave the premises. We shopped around a little and came back exactly forty minutes later as we were three hungry women watching the clock. When we came back and checked in the hostess said: «We were calling you and calling you. You missed it.» Now all I ask is for one to look at the whole picture and be reasonable. Shouldn’t we then have been next? They made us wait twenty-five more minutes, as others kept getting seated. We asked about this a few times and the hostess talked in circles(saying, «You’re no worse off than before») Really? Very frustrating. This was Saturday afternoon November 14th.

Very good breakfast. I think the skillets were the best. Our group also ordered French toast(good, but a little plain– wish it had fruit on top or something) and an omelet. Cute house and great village to walk around in.

Don’t bother. The chicken chowder was thin and bland. The quiche had a crust that was dense and the nest in re quiche(I think it was pork) was very dry. The sausage and clam soup was tasty. My husband enjoyed his blt with bacon mayo but it tasted sweet. In my opinion Blt’s should not be sweet.

We have stayed at The Inn twice now. With the stay you get included breakfast here. So we have eaten here a few times now. I have to say that even if the breakfast wasn’t included I’d still go here! Love the atmosphere and the service is always great! The different meals included with the stay are always good and every thing tasted fresh and delicious ! The lunch and dinner menu look interesting as well ! Definitely worth a stop in !

Food was excellent. Taste homemade and extremely hearty. The meatloaf was finger-licking good. The best thing was the Shoofly pie with icecream and whip cream. Yummy! Now, we can’t walk!

I came here many times growing up and I remember just loving their chicken salad sandwich. About two years ago I came back with my own children and had the gingerbread encrusted french toast – let me repeat – gingerbread encrusted – it was just as good as it sounds(and then some). I highly recommend stopping by for some delicious food if you are in the area.

The best place to eat in Intercourse, PA! The service is second to none. The food is very fresh, and satisfying. My wife and I have visited the Kitchen Kettle Village possibly over twenty years and as of this date, we can honestly say that the food is still of the highest quality. We recommend the Kling House to everyone!

The food here was very delicious. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich with Hand cut fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly, very moist and tendered and tasted very fresh. The coleslaw very good, not too sour and complimented the chicken. Also, the house made roll was baked perfectly and was very dense. The Hand cut fries were also cooked to perfection, not soggy like you’d find in other establishments and not a heavy hand with the salt. I also tried the Shoo Fly Pie. I didn’t like the Pie as much as I thought I would, and that is only because I don’t care much for shoo fly pie after having it for the first time. The filling I found to be too sweet personally. The crust was nice and flaky and baked completely. The streusel topping was amazing. Our server was also very enthusiastic, she made sure to inform us about the menu specials and took extra care to make sure we were taken care of. We were told we would expect a 10 minute wait, but were taken much sooner, in fact nearly right away! I would definitely return to Kling House Farm, very welcoming staff, atmosphere and great food!

When you consider that your eating options are quite restricted in a town like Intercourse, PA, you would want to give 4 stars for this place. Came here with two friends and were seated quickly after a short 5 minute wait. This restaurant is located inside a spacious house, with several adjoining rooms on the ground floor. There is outdoor seating available too under shady trees. The menu has a good selection of salads, sandwiches, wraps, desserts, pastas, and non-alcoholic drinks. The service is friendly and fast, prices are reasonable.

Solid choice for an inexpensive meal in Amish country. Food was good, staff was very pleasant. They gave kids Etch A Sketches to play with at the table. No cheap food choices in the area, and this is a good choice for a good, moderately priced meal with the family

Kling house is a lovely house transformed into a restaurant. It is one of the restaurant situated and uses the ingredients from Kitchen kettle village in Lancaster county. The lunch menu is simple with few selections that made it uncomplicated. We started with Pretzel and mustard as appetizer to share. I chose pork chop for my main entrée. It is a locally sourced center cut pork chop marinated and grilled to perfection, with its own juice and topped with caramelized apples and onions. Served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. It would have been nice to pair it with a glass of Chardonnay. Unfortunately, the Amish do not serve alcoholic drinks. But the meal was scrumptious altogether. The ambiance is calm and homey. The customer service is impeccable. Our waiter is very attentive but not obtrusive. It was indeed a great Amish country lunch experience. All the ingredients are fresh. I will come back and recommend this place to friends and family.

The Kling House is the perfect place to stop for breakfast or lunch when you are in Amish Country. The service was fantastic and the food was fresh and delicious. The entire Kitchen Kettle Village complex is super cute. My favorite shop is the Jam and Jelly room. I like to sample all of their salsas, pickles, jellies, and dips.
