This is the best place to go for meats and cheeses for quality and good prices. Their breakfast wraps are fantastic, I love the scrapple, egg and cheese on a wrap(you can get spinach, tomato or wheat wraps) also the bacon, egg and cheese is good too. I even buy around 6 to 7 wraps and bring it back home and freeze them. Once a week Ill reheat it and tastes as good as when you buy it from there. Lunch sandwiches are great and you must try a grilled cheese there. People are nice and friendly there and you always feel welcome. They recently remodeled their cheese/chips/desserts area with even more options. If you go to Lancaster, this is the place to go for all your meats and cheese needs. Just bring a cooler with you.

Simply the best meat shop. All meats and daily products are outstanding quality and cheaply priced for their quality. Stakes, sausages, and don’t forget pickles for next BBQ. They have small deli in the shop and fried chicken is juicy. Years ago, they have more complete restaurant with family style traditional armish foods. I’m sure many people who enjoyed there years ago miss it. Hope it will be black.

Came here for meat shopping and left here eating lunch. Food was delicious, got a bacon cheeseburger, a Reuben, side of fries, and a hot dog.

Meats are amazing. Lots of frozen selections that made it back to Baltimore still frozen. Very pleasant personnel and helpful in finding things. They also do mailorder business through their web site. Sausages was amazing.

We were in Lancaster for the 4th of July 2015. We have been seeing the brochure about Stoltzfus Meat Market for a while. We didn’t want to have hotel food for breakfast and we just happened to notice that the Meat Market happened to have a little café. Since we have never been there, BINGO breakfast at the meat shop it was. First we walked around the shop for a bit and boy they are a meat market — — plenty of meat, sausages, cheeses, and spices. After making a mental note of what we wanted, it was time for breakfast. Sausage gravy over a biscuit was great. My wife had a standard eggs and ham — — with her potatoes they asked what she would like on them and she choose cheese, onions, and green peppers. Her ham was not salty but she absolutely loved her potatoes. I think we found our favorite breakfast spot in Lancaster County. The only hitch, like most of Intercourse, it is closed on Sunday, except for the Intercourse Canning Store across the street. Enjoy. PS: I met a guy there who was from Florida and happened to be in the Air Force the same time as I was and also was a Desert Storm Veteran. He tried to explain to me what scrapple is — — sorry not for me.

Love this place. Lots of opportunities to sample before purchasing. Today’s trip netted us old fashioned sweet Bologna, buffalo chicken and blue cheese sausages, tomato and basil sausages and Amish butter.

Sigh… I love going here for lunch. Its a short drive from my job and they make an excellent sausage, onion and pepper sandwich. The beef jerky is some of the best in the area, although the cajun flavor is a bit spicy for me. You pretty much cant go wrong ordering in this place, all the food is pretty darn good and local as well. I sigh in the beginning of this review because from about mid April right on through January I can’t go here because it is SOJAMPACKEDFULLOFTOURISTS. I am serious, there are times I have walked in looked around and walked right out. I only have an hour for lunch and sometimes I don’t think that’s enough time to wait… order… wait… pay…wait…wait…wait… get food and leave. If you are in town and want a quick bite to eat, pay attention to the time, is it lunch time? If you are in a rush, you might want to go elsewhere. With that slight inconvenience aside this place is really great, locals and tourist both eat here. Even a few of the Amish guys I work with will grab a lunch here from time to time. It is a great place to shop and eat. One thing to add, don’t get the frozen pizzas… they are gross.

Go here each time we visit the area. Love to stock up on their meats. Also hit Amos’ Place for either breakfast or lunch. Never disappointed.

Candied Bacon. Just do it. It is equal parts sweet and salty on a stick — perfect snack for a stroll in Kitchen Kettle Village.

Finding this place was such a nice surprise. It’s in the middle of a town that’s otherwise pretty much a tourist trap, but this place felt more authentic than everything else. The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I had an Italian sub with hot peppers, and everything on it was great, including the bread. They also have a shop with tons of meats and packaged goods, pickles, and spices. I recommend it!

Let me tell you. I was in Lancaster for a relaxing weekend getaway. It never fails. We usually go to the bird in hand farmers market for meat and such. I received several recommendations to try This place so we gave it a try. They have a huge selection of obviously fresh meat products, cheeses, butters, dry foods and beverages. Truly such a gem and very reasonably priced. I live on Long Island ny and fully plan on ordering from there and some other Amish markets regularly and am determined to never buy meat and butter from the local supermarkets ever again unless I have to. Everyone should stop in!

A very good selection of fresh meat. Some very good dry goods. Just all in all a good local market.

Amish Country Gold. The foods here are all extremely fresh and tasty. When looking at the chicken pieces, the drumsticks were of normal size and the breast did not fill up the entire pan like other places where the chicken is giganteus. I had the chicken steak that was ridiculously good. There are many items throughout the market to buy. Are there many Amish places to buy things from close by? Kind of. The plaza across the street is clearly not Amish though. It is a tourist trap. I guarantee some company remotely affiliated with the Amish runs it. I mean come on; they sell name brand items made in China throughout in the tiny shops that scatter the area. Not that I have anything against anything that comes from China, just wanted to note that the products are not as led to be. I did however take an Amish covered wagon tour to a farm wear you are allowed to buy items straight off the farm. The food items Stoltzfus sells come from places like this where you see the animals roaming around like they should.

Nothing special; good deli sandwiches(we only ate lunch so we cannot speak of the market itself)…good prices but could use more seating. We wanted a quick lunch but I would recommend eating at one of the many authentic Amish style places in the area…

We stopped here to get sandwiches at Amos’ Place and it was so good, we went back on the way home this morning to load up on pot pies, breakfast meats, homemade soups and lunchmeat for the week! Don’t miss this place to take home some great stuff! Don’t worry, they have ice packs and thermal bags if you need them.
