White Castle

This is my guilty pleasure the burgers are awesome perfect size. Also the service here is pretty good can’t complain

Yeah, I admit it. I enjoy having sliders every now and again. To me, WC still does them best, and their expanding menu offers new things and options. My only caveat is to stay away from the sweet potato fries — YUCK! Go to Culvers for those — YUM!

Anyone that says in a review other than «hey, it’s White Castle. What the fuck you thing you were going to get.» is wrong, both bad and good. ITS WHITE CASTLE, WHY WOULD IT BE A GOURMET EXPERIENCE???

Well it’s better to eat late a night and not in bright sunlight. However I always love my White Castle. Always a hit with me but you will find just as many that think it is disgusting. The place is a typical White Castle but doesn’t have that many seats. Better for a quick take out.

I have been known to indulge in a slider or two. My family likes to make jokes because I also tend to leave the evidence behind on the floor of my car. The ladies working here are friendly and fast. I got my standard cheeseburger slider –i still find them delicious. The thing about White Castle is you either love em or hate em. I took a friend once and she had to spit the bite out. Made me laugh. I did try the new waffle with berries and whipped cream. It was a nice little sweet treat to help me survive the rest of my work day.

To all you conspiracy theorists who constantly sit in your underground shelters (your mom’s basement) because of all the Government secrets that you miraculously found the answer to by watching a bald guy shit his pants on Youtube. Why the hell can’t you explain WHY there is some biological need for us to punish our assholes with the slimy square shaped burgers that are inconspicuously loaded with fat calories.
You think you’re saving your ass a square inch by eating a smaller burger? Wrong! You’re wrong!
But, it’s okay. I understand… I, too, succumb to the Crave.

I have no rational explaination as to why I would give White Castle five stars. This is the first place I visit… EVERY time I come back to Minnesota. I’m not sure if it’s nostalgia or my giggling anticipation of the slider farts that will be upon me soon, but I love the Shack!
If you know me outside of Unilocal,you’d know that my favorite words are, effective & efficient. White castle covers both. White Castle makes tasty burgers cheap… and we buy them in bulk. If you’re from the Midwest, you’ve likely had a slider eating contest. I also love the efficiency of White Castle. The five holes in their burgers aren’t to cheat you out of meat, they’re there to cook the burger quickly. Pretty smart way to knock out 40 burgers for this guy waiting at the drive-​thru.
Lastly…White Castle is always quick. Well, as quick as you can be when almost everyone is ordering tons of food.
Try: Pulling your nose down a bit, and come to the Shack
Avoid: Eating this before church… trust me

I enjoy white castle quite a bit and sense we don’t have one where we live it’s always a treat to get burgers when we come to visit. The store is a bit off the highway but easy enough to get to on our way to our destination (in WI) so we always stop. I must stay I really really like the chicken the most which my husband says makes me wrong because it’s not tradition so I always get just one of the normal burgers which makes the people behind the counter look at me funny. I enjoy it and will look forward to the next day I’m back.

White Castle has been a Mid-​Western staple in the fast food industry for over fifty years and so I made sure it was on my must visit places while in town.
The order taker was helpful, but definitely went for the gold when trying to up sell me on what seemed like five or six side items. I knew what I wanted and was a little annoyed by the questions.
I was distracted by the fact that one could order a «sack of fries» for a reasonable price. A «sack of fries» seems like a good idea for those dining with more than two people. But enough about the fries.
I ordered two cheeseburger sliders, two chicken breast sliders and four original sliders to share. All of them had the expected amount of toppings and were fully cooked.
These sliders are cooked via steam and not just on a grill, like most burgers.
I was happy to have enjoyed a few White Castle sliders, while I was in town. I will be going back before I leave town, to experience a few other types of sliders.

What can be Said? It’s a White Castle!

I sent out a mass text to my family last summer while visiting saying «Hubby has never had Castles, meet at 530» About 20 peeps showed up and we got busy.
The staff didn’t flinch when we walked in and ordered crave case after crave case. This Castle has been remodeled and looks great the floor is very slippery though, beware!
It was a fun family meal, they have the originals and fries and some new additions to the menu. Pepper jack cheese anyone? mozzarella sticks baby?
Drive through and open late, if they would only move to the West Coast it would be perfection!

I’m absolutely willing to admit I’m weary to eat White Castle with a clear mind because my father told me at a young age that the cooks squeezed the hamburger patties in their sweaty armpits before throwing them on the grill.
Ten years later, I tried it. Not the hamburgers, mind you. I may be scarred for life. The chicken was surprisingly enjoyable. The fries: industry standard. Pop, blah blah.
I have still yet to have had their hamburgers and I shudder every time I pass any of their locations.
Let’s start a pot for me to try ONE «slider» (*shudder*)
