Pick up order pizza… did not get order correct which happens. However, instead of trying to make it right only wanted to argue that is what I had ordered. Even if that was the case which I believe it was not, staff did not agree to correct only wanted to argue I was the one who made the mistake. Not sure what would of been the big deal to remake a pizza and I will not be back since there are other places where the customer service is better.

Do not judge this book by it’s cover! Even though it’s in a strip mall this is a nice restaurant! The décor inside is very nice and the service was good. Be prepared for you meal to take a while, but the food is so fresh that the wait is worth it. The stuffed chicken parmigiana is amazing. Also the Shrimp Francese was light and delicious! The cannoli was just ok. But everything else was well worth it!

Have always enjoyed Chefs when we visit the Hernando area(2x/year) and became Mom’s go to place on Mothers day after Margarita grill burned down. Heard that the business was sold and the food was not good anymore. Arrived late afternoon(4:15−4:30) on Saturday(12 Mar) and were the only customers there. Have never seen it empty before and became worried as to what to expect. Well no need to worry about the food quality, it was excellent ! Ordered two of the daily specials. The pork shank(which we always order when it’s available) was as good as its ever been, and the other I believe was called veal & shrimp catalina, was delicious with the veal & shrimp cooked perfect. Now on to the bad news. The kitchen is very slow to get the food out, Now we are never in a rush when we go out to eat, and understand things happen and there are delays sometimes. That being said, we waited well over 30 min for entrees after finishing our appetizers and salads. A few other tables arrived after us, but not busy enough to be that slow, plus the dishes that we ordered were not complicated. Pork shank is braised ahead of time and pretty much just needs to be plated, and both thin sliced veal and shrimp cook in a matter of minutes. Still a fan because the food is that good. So if you’re looking for a good meal and not in a rush. you should give it a try.

We thought this place was great! I had a calzone that was so big I thought it might eat me! My wife has a gluten allergy so she was really happy to find out they had GF pasta. I can’t wait to try the pizza.

Something is going on with this restaurant, but not sure what. In the past I have always loved the meal. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Was seated and our server was attentive. Ordered. Bread, soups, and drinks served promptly. Bread is always great. I didn’t find my tomato basil soup to be that flavorful but it was ok. Server did mention that they were short handed in the kitchen. After about 1.25 hours she said they hadn’t even started cooking our food and there was another table before us. She was apologetic and we paid our bill and left. We weren’t the only ones doing this. Don’t know how this place c an remain in business with this sort of stuff happening. A real shame.

This was our second visit here. The first time was a long wait but the service was attentive, the food was good when it came and the atmosphere was very quaint. This trip we arrived at our reservation time, we were seated at a table with really wrinkled tablecloths like they were slept on. We had to wait 10 minutes to even get a glass of water. Our waiter was overwhelmed and unprepared. He seemed frustrated that we ask what the specials were. It was a long night. We still have not gotten our food and we have been here 84 minutes. We aren’t hungry anymore and don’t really want our meals if we ever get them. If you have nothing but time and don’t really care if you eat or not this place is perfect. Overwhelming disappointment! I would rate the food but I still have not received any now 90 minutes after arrival. After another 15 minutes and no sign of our food we got up and ask for our check. We paid for our wine and like 3 other groups we left without eating our main course. The wait staff offered a very sarcastic«have a great night». I suspect that this business will not be here in another 6 months. I have NEVER waited on a meal for that long anywhere and was not offered an apology or even an excuse for the poor service that stemmed from the kitchen thru the majority of the staff. I can only say that if you decide to visit them go with a full stomach and extremely low expectations. The bright side is there is a hungry Howie’s next door. Buono apetito… anyplace but here!!!

Food is very good and the service is attentive. The pizza pies are the best. Take home and enjoy. The waitstaff seems to change frequently but it has not affected the service. We like to dine there frequently and would love to connect with a server who recognizes us as regular customers.

I booked a group of 20 for Citrus Newcomers Club and they sat us all together in our own area. Our servers, Joe and Christie Jo, were attentive and responsive. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was altogether a very nice restaurant experience. The manager could not have been more accommodating. Thank you, Chefs of Napoli!

We are regular customers. They ran out of cheese cake on Thursday night. Wait staff says they’re paying too much attention to the new store and ignoring the Inverness store. Things are not being ordered as needed. There is trash outside along the sidewalk. This establishment can do better. The food is good as usual and the service great. The managementneeds to pay attention.

My husband and I made a late reservation here on Valentine’s for dinner. We were of course surprised to see that it was in a strip mall but appreciated the effort put into the décor. The service was professional. The food was lacking. My cheese pasta dish with fish was glorified mac ‘n cheese. The food was nothing special but the prices and professional attire by staff make you assume something more. Lower the prices or improve the quality.

This was our first visit to Chefs of Napoli –Inverness, what a delightful experience. We arrived without a reservation party of 5, was warmly received and were seated within minutes, our server Frankie was very attentive and described the specials clearly so everyone understood, took our wine order returned along with the fresh bread and garlic drip. Our dinner orders arrived timely, were as ordered and presented beautifully. After living here four years I feel like I have cheated myself be not coming here sooner, we will be back and soon, this review needed to be posted because after reading some of the past reviews I find them very difficult to believe.

My first visit to this restaurant, I usually give it a few tries before leaving a negative review but this was an exception. The worst service I’ve ever had anyplace, worse than a greasy spoon, worse than a fast food joint. We had reservations for five people and they squeezed us into a table for four even though there were other larger tables. They dropped off the bottle of wine we ordered and did not open it or offer to open it, we had to flag someone down to get a corkscrew and glasses. The surly middled aged female server did not offer to tell us the specials until asked to do so, then she did reluctantly. We had to ask for cheese and she was peeved when we did. One of the entrees came 15 minutes after the others. The food was bland, as near as I can tell my linguine and clams came out of the water with no seasoning of any type. I won’t be back(I live on the West Coast) but the rest of my family who lives in the area won’t be back either.

This was just OK for us. I had the baked Ziti and it was very good. My husband had the spaghetti with sausage peppers and onions and it really wasn’t very good. The salads were very uneventful too. Ed were generally disappointed.

Excellent flavors of Italia! The pizza has got a great crust with a good bite to it. The sauce is nicely balanced. Our experience was wonderful. Chefs of Napoli is a great place to enjoy an Italian night out. Don’t forget to get a cannoli.

This is a very good Italian restaurant. Don’t be turned off because it is in a strip mall near a KMart. The service is excellent and the food is very good. The portions are filling. They have a good selection of wine and beer so it is definitely not a typical shopping center pizza joint. I’ve never had the pizza here, so I can’t comment on it but I have had a couple different pasta dishes. This is probably the best Italian restaurant in the Inverness area.

Antonio & Luigi. what the hell is happening over there??? You guys made the best food for miles! I looked forward to eating there once every pay check. The last few time guys… it wasnt so good. I ordered the chicken alfredo(w broccoli) The chicken was completely unseasoned and untrimmed(fatty) The broccoli, also unseasoned, was wilted and icy cold in the middle. It tasted like freezer burn and made the whole dish taste off. The time before, I took an order to go, you forgot the soup & no bread. Then the time before that I ordered the white lasagna(which was my favorite) and it was less than fresh my friends… You guys are never there anymore. Whoever is running your kitchen is ruining your reputation. WAKEUP !! This family of 6 will not be back.

I must say I been here many times and have had good food every time. However, on last visit(there is a reason it’s the last) We ordered one of the delicious pies but couldn’t finish it and ask for a pizza box. Upon receiving the box a German cockroach came out of it… Ok it Florida!!! that will sometimes happen. The waitress was great and apologized and offered to pick up our next meal… I just left the food and box on table… I paid entire bill and left a good tip… The Mgr /Chef whoever was un apologetic and thought we were crazy, really? I even informed them that they might want to hire professionals to address this due to the nature. We let them know all this while not disturbing other patrons… but I’m Unilocaling…
