Fisherman’s Cove

Over priced frozen food that could be bought at Winn Dixie. Buy an expensive seafood platter and when they ask you if you want a baked potato they tell you it’s .25 cents additional for sour cream. REALLY. The waitstaff are food deliverers, no interaction or personality. Expensive prices don’t mean great dining.

Wow! My husband and I usually only go once or twice a year, for special occasions. It’s become our anniversary tradition. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, great prices/​specials, and fresh seafood!
We’ve sampled everything from their shrimp (blackened and fried), lobster, crab cakes, sirloin, fresh fish specials, and stuffed mushrooms! Awesome sides too!

My husband is a fish guy so we went there for his birthday. He ordered a grouper special, fresh caught that day. I ordered coconut shrimp as an experiment. Both dinners came with a generous salad. Both the salad and dressing were a bit cold/​frozen. Believe it or not, still good. But difficult to spread the blue cheese dressing.
The grouper was a substantial size and my husband chose blackened. It was excellent. Thick and moist and not real spicy. Very flavorful. He brought home leftovers.
I decided that coconut and shrimp really don’t belong together. It was ok, but not to my liking. Portion was generous. There had to be at least 8 large shrimp, if not more.
Each meal came with hush puppies and green beans. We don’t eat either of those so I cant comment.
Service was quick and friendly.

Got the soft shell crab dinner think it was about $ 14, very good for the price, also got gator bites as an appetizer and it was ok, this was my first time here so I don’t know if the other food is good, but I would definitely come back for the crab

The staff was very rude and the food tasted very processed not fresh. Not going here again…

We make it to Fisherman’s Cove about 3 times a year. Del Monaco stake meal… My fave, hubby gets the Sway fish dinner. Excellent, always excellent. The owner cooks and will make every thing the way you want it, just ask. Comfortable seating and décor is cool to look at. Outside seating is avaliable.

Delicious! Huge shrimp and home made blue cheese dressing is off the chart! Try the Thursday specials. Prime Rib is better than any steakhouse anywhere. Worth the trip. We eat there 2x monthly. Long drive from Spring Hill… But worth the gas.

Amazing! Best seafood in central Florida! Shrimp are huge and succulent, salad dressings are all made in house and are just as excellent! Service is great and friendly! This is a must for all seafood lovers!
