Dan’s Bike Shop

I happened across Dan’s Bike Shop during a four-​day bike ride across Michigan when I stopped in Ionia for a break. As it happened, my bike’s computer was sporadically failing and I was having some trouble shifting, so I left the bike with Dan and had lunch. When I got back, he’d found and fixed the computer and shifter problems (bad cables) and in addition, discovered that a bolt attaching my pannier rack to the frame had nearly sheared off. As I had full panniers, losing that bolt would have been a big problem. The bike performed flawlessly for the rest of the trip.
As there aren’t many bike shops in that part of Michigan, I was very grateful to come across a good one at the right time. Thanks, Dan!
