McDonald’s

After bungling my order and then screwing up my refund, I felt the need to offer a word of caution on the possible awfulness of this particular McDonald’s.
If you are venturing here, be vigilant against bad service and make sure the person at the counter hears you clearly.

While it’s a McDonald’s so not really expecting much. Usually this location is much better than the others in the area.
Stopped in Mother’s Day morning for the free breakfast promotion. Even though the sign states a free breakfast platter OR an extra value meal and small coffee we were told by a manager or shift leader that my wife could only get the small breakfast platter and no coffee.
She doesn’t eat sausage and wanted an Egg McMuffin meal. The person in charge said that she doesn’t make the rules and that it’s a corporate thing.
Again I know this isn’t a 4 star restaurant but at least the staff could know what their promotions are and when someone clearly points out the advertising don’t just make crap up.

It’s a McDonalds. Not much more to say. It was what I expected, although a bit crazy busy.

Pretty average McDonalds, but nice place to stop for a drink when riding around Iowa City. Easy in and out from Highway 1 and Mormon Trek Blvd. Very friendly staff!
