Megabus

Love MegaBus! I have taken it multiple times back and forth to Omaha. It is always clean, the driver is always friendly, and no one has ever bothered me during our travels. The bus includes seat belts, above head air, book lights, and outlets. It’s like a plane but SO much better and WAY cheaper. I will never take a Greyhound again.

You get what u pay for — dirt cheap service for dirt cheap fares!
1) To say the buses are late is an understatement — they run on what I call the Megabus Timezone! It would help if it differed by a constant time from the stated departure time — but no, each day would be a surprise! In case if u ever have the misfortune of taking a Megabus in winter, make sure u ask a friend to drop u off so that you aren’t half-​frozen by the time the bus gets there! Out of a 4 hour trip, the buses can be late by 45 minutes — which can derail ones plans significantly!
2) Very poor service. If a tyre blows out in the middle of your trip, say goodbye to any plans you might have had for the remainder of the day — as even the driver doesn’t know when it would get fixed (in what civilized country does it take 2.5 hours approx to change a single tire???)
3) The attitude of the drivers leaves a lot to be desired — when enquiring about the status of a tyre change, I was told (not too politely) to get back to my seat and «chill». I believe it was intended literally, as the bus temperature would put a meat locker to shame!
