I brought a pr of Red Wing boots in 1978 from Tom’s dad. He resoled them for me a few yrs back and they are still great, after 36 yrs.

After holding my boots for a year he lost one of them. Yes, I called regularly to check on them. He said someone picked up my one of my boots and it was gone. I’m certain this was a lie. In the end he found it.
Roger is a character and his work is not bad. It is an experience to be in his store (boxes and leathers piled head high). If that is of interest and if you can handle a crotchety man I would not tell you to stay away.
