I visited here yesterday and found this place to be wonderful for adults and kids. It actually is inside the academic building with exhibits on the following floors: * Ground Floor — Diversity of Life Exhibits * First Floor — Iowa Hall — Info Desk — Gift Shop * Third Floor — Mammal Hall — Hageboeck Hall of Birds — Bioosphere Discovery Hub Admission is free which is nice. Plus, the most exciting hall for me was the Hall of Birds. Wonderful display of different owls, hawks, sparrows, etc. It’s is amazing that the university has an in depth collection of animals especially for birds. There are also programs which I noticed since there was a big table with drinks left over. There was a projector and screen in the Biosphere room so you can check out their website for more info. You will not be disappointed and plus it’s nearby Coralville for your shopping as well.
