Westport Touchless Autowash

My experiences were absolutely terrible. This car wash is in a convenient location for me, and the pricing is standard for the services they offer. However, like others have said, the results are extremely disappointing. Most recently, the workers spent less than five seconds – I’m not exaggerating, count «one-​one thousand, etc.» to five, and it was less time than that – going over the car with the mops. I’ve never been thrilled with Westport’s performance, but as I inspected my vehicle when I arrived at my next destination, I was literally disgusted. The rear gate of my SUV (which I was aware had not been touched at all by the mops) was still very visibly filthy, down to the obvious wiper blade outline, with dirt that could be taken like new by a finger swipe. The sides were also still coated with dirt that left a hand black dirty after a few inches’ touch. The only thing that was clean was most of my hood — and even towards the top, this had visible dirt. The roof was untouched.
I understand this is not a hand wash – but that’s still not a reason for me to simply throw away $ 12.00 for nothing (and yes, I select «diamond,» which is the premium option.) The car should at least appear «clean,» if not perfect, when viewed, and not literally «dirty.» I would strongly urge anyone taking the time to research this place to choose another option. It’s extremely embarrassing and demeaning, for both parties involved, to have to tell the staff at an auto wash their performance is terrible and to please take care this time – so I will never use this business, or frankly any of its locations, ever again. Making another regular stop is worth avoiding the risk that I’m wasting the entire cost, and moreover, for best results that are never, ever, impressive.

It depends on what you expect from this car wash… I expect a clean car.
The pros: 1). It’s cheap. 2). It’s touchless so probably better than the brushes at the local gas station car wash
The cons: 1). My car was not clean when I finished. The tires were still dirty and the top didn’t look any different than when I started. The back bumper was also dirty. 2). If the car is not clean what’s the point?
I would not return. I am not from here so I was only getting the car cleaned after driving it here from out of state for my daughter who goes to the university. She will be better off to put her money towards a do it yourself establishment in the future.

Still the best run car wash in town in my opinion. Quick, cheap and friendly competent service.
Also a good idea for an X mas/​bday gift card present. Everyone loves a clean car but we all hate spending the money. Had a 4 pack for my dad and it only ran me $ 32 plus 10% off.

For $ 8 I don’t like to get home and still see dirt on my tires & spots all over my car! For $ 2 & 5 minutes I can powerwash my own car & do a better job.

Due to apparent amnesia, I occasionally stop by when I think I want to get a premium wash and support a local business, etc. After I get home, I remember why I don’t go here all the time – mid-​level wash is $ 10, and afterward, I rubbed my finger across the hood and picked up dirt, the front still has lots of bugs, and bird droppings are still on the roof.
Save your money and either go across the street to the gas station for a cheaper wash that’s at least as good (albeit the brushes probably scratch the hell out of your finish), or put your money toward a hand wash and detail.

i’m still looking for a place that offers a hand job. in the meanwhile, for $ 8 this place will have to do, at least they blow you at the end.
