Porters on main is an Iowa falls staple. They’ve had years of success for a reason. Their food is always good.
If you’re looking for a steak, this is the local place to go. I prefer to get the petite steak Oscar, a delicious little steak smothered in crab hollandaise sauce and asparagus. My always hungry husband enjoys the ribeye steak with hash browns.
This restaurant is fairly priced, and is eager to please.
What holds me back in rating porters on main 5 stars is the interior décor. It’s straight from 1996, and seriously needs some updating.

Great food, I enjoy pasta on Tuesdays. You choose the ingredients and they cook it in front of you. If it taste bad it is your own fault.
I only gave them four stars because the service is slow. I get up and get my own food, so why can’t the waitress keep my glass full? Last three times have all been the same. Next time I’m going to order 2 beers at a time.
