The lady that runs the shop was great lots of different stuff I was able to by nicknacks for my office and got my wife a gift

As far as gift or novelty shops are concerned, this place misses the mark a bit. It doesn’t seem to have its own identity figured out, if that makes sense. Yes, it is a small space but it is pretty jam-​packed with merchandise and lacks a general sense of cohesion… or at the very least, feng shui.
For example… lingerie outfits hanging randomly above the doorway and window? Y’know, right by the silk pashminas and whatnot. Not what I’d expect from a gift store in Ipswich.
Gift items span the continents — some Asian, South American, and even local designs from artists. Some of the items are ridiculously overpriced (i.e., little woven trinkets from Turkey — where I used to live — marked up astronomically).
Yes, there are some neat finds to be had at Foreign Affairs, but I doubt I’d return.
