missed opportunity for a café. I work in one of the buildings and have fallen for the trap of convenience twice already. Never again. Crummy service. Expensive. Food is fine, just good enough to not complain about but nothing to recommend. I understand that a place might charge extra for ranch or salsa but damn do they overchange. We all just make the walk to the food court, otherwise we’d be spending a lot here.

I love Amy’s. I go as often as I can. The owners are very sweet and kind and always take good care of me. The breakfast burritos are some of my favorite! I also like their smoothies, fries, and coffees. It might be a little pricier, but the service and quality more than make up for it. Highly recommend!

Well… if you have had the misfortune of forgetting to pack lunch for the day, this place is convenient, but after you eat here, you’ll remember to pack your lunch for next time. There are menu items that are good – the breakfast burrito comes to mind. Actually, that is the only item. Other than that, nothing special. All of this is stuff you can make at home and it would probably taste better and certainly be easier on the pocketbook. Nachos for example? Canned beans, some chips from a bag, grated cheese. Nothing special. A lot of the stuff is canned/frozen, not fresh. Soup? From a can. They do seem to overcharge as well. You are charged for EVERYTHING. Want jelly on your toast/butter? Pay 1.50 more. Even asking for a packet of butter/condiments you’ll get charged. The owners are generally nice people and I understand this is a small business and they have their limitations and budget considerations, esp. considering rent in this area, so don’t have high expectations eating here – just a last resort if you don’t have lunch or you don’t feel like going across the street to the shopping plaza.

Amy’s Café is a staple here at Century Centre, and have been here for YEARS. Managed by Amy and Carlos, who have always been gushingly nice and sweet. I’ve never seen anyone else work there. Like any mom & pop restaurant, Amy’s has only a few items on the menu that are worth anything. Their burgers are fantastic. Soft, toasted bread with all the standard trimmings. The fries are cooked to perfection, lightly fried in fresh oil, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and thick, but not heavy like steak fries. Their breakfast burritos are SOLID and will keep you running all morning, and their soups are affordable and tasty. Amy’s is also a good quickie mart option. Need asprin? Gum? A small quart of ice cream? Just take the elevator down and pay a few bucks more for the convenience. That is, unfortunately, the end of their quality food. All other menu items aren’t that great, or are pretty overpriced for what you get. Amy’s is GREAT for the convenience factor when you’ve got a craving for a burrito or a burger…

Their breakfast burritos and egg/cheese bagels are amazing! For lunch their chicken quesadillas or their sandwiches are good too! You can call them about ten minutes before you want to pick up food and they’ll have it ready for you! It’s easy and convenient if you work in this building! It’s cash only if your order is under 5 bucks.

Over priced, customer service lacks unless you’re a regular. Their menus is way too extensive– less is more. Less is more… They wouldn’t allow my friends to come eat inside with me on a super windy day even though I had purchased a meal in there. There was more than enough tables to go around. Even cheap about the forks. Went to grab a fork for my fries I had bought there and they said utensils were for customers only… Told them I just bought fries and that sure quiet them up. Sheesh!

I only go there when I have no choice bc I am in the same building. The food is not good, and the service is horrendous by Amy. She will charge for every extra little thing. A side of salsa for the breakfast burrito is $ 1.50. I will no longer spend any money in there.

I work in the building next to Amy’s and was hesitant to go here because of all the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got their BLT with fries and also tried their onion rings and they taste great! About $ 7 for half a sandwich and side. It is on the pricy side, but that’s expected due to its convenient location. My coworkers tell me their breakfast burritos are good so I hope to try that out next time. The owners are friendly too. The only bad thing is the inconsistency in portions. One time my hashbrowns filled the entire container, and the next it only filled up half.

I don’t care what everyone else says — Amy’s is the best walk-up breakfast place in the local area. The food is consistently great, especially the breakfast burritos, and the owners have always been polite to me. This place gets way too bad a rap for being as convenient and excellent as it is. No, it’s not fine dining, and no, it doesn’t have French restaurant style service, but it is perfect for a cheap, quick meal.

$ 3.00 for a side of toast?! I asked him why it was $ 3 when it says it’s $ 1.50 on the menu. He responds, «It’s $ 1.50 without butter. You got butter.» Is this a joke??! I I’ve always known Amy’s overcharges for EVERYTHING but really $ 1.50 for BUTTER on toast?! Save your wallet and your digestive system and don’t eat here. Side note: My boss once found MOLD on his muffin from Amy’s. Happy eating!

I used to work in this complex and would go downstairs for a club sandwich all the time. 70% of the time, I would get a club sandwich back and they would use the ends crust of the bread in the middle layer. Really???

Amy’s Café is in such a convenient location, it’s a shame the people who run it are so rude and money-hungry. The lady who works there will only be fakely nice to you if you spend lots of money. There is no leeway on the 5 dollar minimum for credit card purchases. It’s all«my dear» until the other day I sat down on the table waiting for my friend to buy some chips and cookies. I hadn’t made a purchase myself but the lady made a point of very loudly saying«she is sitting there without making a purchase!» And trying to get her husband to kick me out. A. The store was empty. b. I was accompanying my friend who made a large purchase. c. I have spent hundreds of dollars in this«café» and should be allowed to sit here without buying a ton of food if I’m just accompanying a friend. I go into other restaurants with a packed lunch all the time, when a friend buys food, and nobody ever complains in those fancier restaurants so why should Amy’s Café, located in a industrial building, be so strict. They won’t even let you take a napkin or fork or cup of water unless you buy something. Another time, I paid for a 6 dollar meal with my card. The café phone rang while the transaction was happening, causing the machine to deny the transaction. I knew my card had money on it and kindly asked her to run it again. She gave me a rude look and asked for another card — and I explained there was no need considering that the card has money and the transaction only failed because the phone rang. She was very rude and didn’t even apologize. The food is overpriced and nothing special. I have gotten dried out cookies from them(1 dollar each) on multiple occasions. For someone who has spent so much money here to be treated so rudely by the staff, I vow to never spend another penny in Amy’s café. If you can’t be kind to customers, they won’t come back, just FYI.

I’m not sure why people are parading about the breakfast burrito. You really can’t mess up a breakfast burrito… usually. Here’s some advice: Please sprinkle the cheese over the tortilla and then put the eggs/hash-browns(something HOT) over it. This will cause the cheese to melt and be gooey and delicious. Please do NOT sprinkle your cheese over the cold salsa that you put in the burrito, because this prevents the cheese from becoming gooey and delicious. Rather, the texture of the cheese is dry and cardboard like.

Overall the food is okay. Nothing special and overpriced but it will do if you want something quick. I have been to this place multiple times and have even tipped a time or two. Today I wasn’t eating there but went in to grab a PLASTIC fork. The woman who works stares me down the minute I walk in and as walk over to the register to grab a fork she blocks my hand and rudely states«These are for paying customers» In shock, I asked if she was being serious and instead of saying a simple«yes» she once again rudely states«Yes I’m serious, look around this isn’t a break room.» Who does she think she is to speak to ANY customer that way. Not only had I already been a paying customer multiple times, but a simple«oh im sorry these are for customers» would have sufficed. I hope that plastic fork was worth it to her because I am never coming back because of the way she spoke to me. My co-workers had complained to me about her before about how rude she was about EVERYTHING but i brushed it off thinking they were over reacting. I should have listened, because those comments were completely rude and unnecessary.

Like I said, even though I haven’t been happy with them I still go back for the burrito. This morning I ordered one from a long hiatus and guess what? I got a soggy cold burrito and the wrapper was broken. I took it back anyway and warmed it up a little, and tried to eat it, and the burrito just disintegrated into a mess on my plate. I mean, really, if you are not interested in running a proper business, don’t do it. No one is forcing you.

I love Amy’s café!!! one thing they have that is very very awesome is the breakfest burrito, I’ve ate many burritos and i must say THIS one is one of the best BB around. the location of this place is on the bottom of an office building, so you see alot of office workers in suits and ties at this place. Amy(i think that is her name) and her husband(i think) are very sweet people, i think they’re russian, but i’m not to sure about it. Amy who always give people a smile and thank you, will know your name if you become a regular there. also another thing you should try there is their Tuna melt, one of the best i’ve tasted since i’ve moved here. So if you’re in the area i suggest this place for sure.
