At the Park

This is an independent and assisted living senior apartment facility.
There are studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments.
Meals, activities and some housekeeping are included. Medication dispensing, personal hygiene assistance and assistance between the apartment and common areas cost a bit extra.
Although the buiding looks like it is showing some aging, compared to some of the newer facilities, it is clean and safe. The apartments are updated when residents move in. The staff exhibits a genuine concern for the welfare of the residents and treats them and visitors in a friendly and respectful manner.
The food is very good. There are 3 full meals a day. They have special menus on major holidays with seasonal menu items and decorations.
The two areas in need of some improvement would be in the activities and in the transportation. The activities seem somewhat limited based on the size of the facility. Also, the transportation options for getting to places like a medical appointment, church or grocery shopping are very limited and do not include «door to door «transportation options.
It is moderately priced compared to some of the other local facilities, so they have to make their monthly fees stretch a bit farther than some of the more expensive places.
So, of you need a comfortable, safe, friendly environment for a senior family member, Inn at the Park is a good choice.
