We bought the largest cake in the store and asked for some spoons to go with it; the clerk was very rude and not willing to give; this store is notoriously unwelcome patrons, we probably will never visit again.

I can’t wait to comment! The service and the salesclerk is so bad and is the worst! Every time is bad especially this time! It seems like you buy things you never pay for them! I don’t know why the operator hire such no service bad mood person to this store! No smile no patience and they can’t wait to say go away to you.

Worker with horrible attitude by the name of Poojah. I spent 15 minutes trying to explain to her the specifics of a custom cake I wanted to have made for my cousin’s baby shower. This cake was extremely important so I wanted to make sure they would get it perfect. This worker however was being extremely impatient and snarky with me as the attitude was apparent in her tone of voice. When I was done explaining she sarcastically asked if I ‘had any other detail to add, I don’t want to mess up your perfect cake sir’. This is when I told her that I don’t have to give her my business and that I could just go elsewhere. She replied by saying she didn’t care, they get plenty of other people to buy their cakes.
Safe to say I will never come to this place again. The BR on Jeffrey was much nicer and I was able to place my order there much quicker and without having to deal with a rude worker.

I love love love ice cream! And baskin robins !! I grew up eating baskin robins everyday (: I love sampling different flavors and I love to try their newest creations. They’re more than happy to give you as many samples as you’d like. For a pint of ice cream to take home, it’s only $ 5.00 can’t complain!!!

I love this BR location! Their employees are so friendly even at 9:30pm. They have the Unilocal check-​in there and get $ 1 off a beverage (like a shake or smoothie). Their sundae is HUGE with brownies, I wish I got a picture. You feel like you get your moneys worth from this location.
Also, on the 31^st of each month they have scoops for $ 1.31 each. What a deal, but the line is out the door.

Like the previous review said, it’s Baskin Robbins so it’s pretty standard. The five stars is for their service though, we bought some ice cream on a cone for my friends’ kids today and literally before we paid for the ice cream, one of the girls dropped their ice cream. They replaced it no questions asked. The review would have been very different if that was not the case. Thanks baskin Robbins!

Ice cream is always great here, so 5 stars for great product! But 2 stars for this employee who made 2 Shakes for my girlfriend and I while talking on her personal cell phone talking about her drama & life and petty stuff. So not professional, just take the call later not while we are ordering ice cream and paying. Hopefully the manager can fix this problem

Worst service ever !!! I ordered a CappiBlast with a little extra ice. As the worker who took my order was making my drink, the manager came out and asked the worker what she was doing. The worker simply said she was adding extra ice into my drink. The manager blatantly said, «We don’t customize orders. If the customer wants to customize the order, you need to charge extra.» All this was said while I was standing right in front of them. The worker apologized to me, but the fact that the manager would make such a big fuss over a few cubes of ice ruined my whole experience.

Lots of outdoor seating. Great service. Clean. Ample selection of flavors. What more can I say?

Horrible service and outrageous prices! Took two employees forever to serve two couples because one employee spent most of their time in the back instead of acknowledging customers. There’s a ton of ice cream places in Irvine. Skip this one.

It’s Baskin Robbins, what can I say? 31 flavors, not cheap, not expensive, and kids consistently love it. There’s a Ben and Jerry’s just a couple of miles away, but apparently, Baskin Robbins wins in business hands down. This place is packed right after dinner — we all seem to have the same idea. There’s a frozen yogurt place a few feet away, but for kids, this place is the place of choice.
As far as service, I haven’t had bad service yet. I’ve been here practically almost every day for two years and not once, did I get bad service. I have, however, from time to time received very amazing service at this place. Once, I had kids scoops but the guy gave us regular ones for my boys. When you have toddlers, they bring the ice cream mayhem everywhere, but they were great at cleaning it. Just last week, BOTH of my boys dropped their ice scream on the floor while I was paying, and three of the guys here just kept saying, «oh no! Don’t worry, we’ll replace them!» The place was packed when this happened, and yet, every employee was mindful and attentive of what was going on in the place. I’ve ordered massive cakes, sometimes two of their largest sheets and they never disappointed.
I leave a tip each time because each night, the meager tip jar gets evenly split among them… sometimes, $ 1.75 for each, after scooping damn ice cream all day long. I’d be annoyed out of my mind.
So next time you scoop from your quart at home, remember this: scooping ice cream is a pain in the ass, and you should tip the kids at Baskin Robbins when you go. Don’t be so damn cheap. The guys at Starbucks get more tips for handing you coffee and misspelling your name. Fight the inner cheapscate in you and tip these kids.

Super rude and obnoxious employee by the name of «Robbie» I came in at about 11:15 and he was on the phone. He never acknowledged me even after we made eye contact or attempted to provide any type of customer service. I waited another 2 mins or so before I turned around and walked out. I then came back to ask the guy for his name with my friend and he still then had an attitude when I asked for his name stating he was busy. He continued to say I was on the phone which I replied with you can still provide customer service and acknowledge your customers. I walked out and left the door open and as I was coming back to close the door he replied with «thanks fat ass» I then said oh your welcome have a nice day at which time he walked to the door and then said «ok smart ass»

The worst service ever!!! And very slow with two workers and not super busy. I am very disappointed.
My friend ordered his drink, paid, and went to the restroom. A woman took his ordered and rung him. I was next, but a family walked straight to the sample section and asked the guy to sample several flavors for his family. I figured they were still deciding so I was patient for them to be served samples. 5 minutes later from sampling with their family, I mentioned that I was first and ready to place my drink order. This is when it begins. The male employee then said he say them first and that’s why he helped them. (Innocent mistake, right? Not!) I said, that’s impossible because my friend already ordered his drink, went to the bathroom, and back out with his drink. My friend even asked, «What’s going on?» The male employee then tries to argue with me and said the family was first. We then both said, «Impossible, since we were together but paid separately!» The male employee then shrugged his shoulder and gave us an attitude. Finish the family’s transaction and served them. Then took my order.
Then we asked, Is there any vouchers or coupons you guys have to honor your mistake and accommodate us. He said, No! Didn’t even offer me $ 1 off from checking in Unilocal as well. With this experience, the drink taste terrible, maybe because I lost my appetite from his poor customer service skills.
I’m shocked that we even mention how poor their service were and he just shrugged his shoulder with attitudes. Let’s hope the manager or store owner will have some explanation with this.

The staff is fantastic. They are always friendly, professional and go out of their way to give you excellent customer service. I went to another location in Newport Beach and their service left a lot to be desired.

I’m going to say that I’ve never liked the prices and would only show up here on my birthday or when we had coupons. To me, it’s a toss up between Baskin-​Robbins and Thrifty when it comes to ice cream shops. You want Thrifty over in Rite Aid, you deal with crap service, but you pay much more for Baskin-​Robbins.
Sometimes I’ll drop by here, sample a few then buy a cone and all the workers I’ve been around over the last few years have been very friendly. It’s a good location, aside from it being crowded by the other stores. This specific location has been around for a long time, it’s in business for all the right reasons.
I have a habit of buying my friends those ice cream birthday cakes a couple times a year, and they’re always amazing. It’s up there in price, but I get those silly writings on them and it always cheers up my buddies. Oh and I won’t mention what was written on them, I’m keeping my promise random worker of no gender, age or form of ethnicity person.

been coming here for the last 10 years for scoops and cakes. Went to pick up 2 custom b-​day cakes for my daughters and they mixed up the names. No big deal, mistakes happen. After 15 – 20 minutes the cakes came back with old lettering «picked off» and 1 cake re-​lettered. Take a look at pics. This is completely unacceptable !. We were told manager, cake designer not on sight and it’s best they can do… plus no refund!!!
Had my kids with me and needless to say, they were pretty upset. Birthdays are all about making memories and this was not a good one.
Let’s hope manager have some explanations on Monday

Is not my fav ice cream place, but thehhave good flavors and this promotion… 3 days one (1)$$$ scoop… Is a not brainer. Cherry is a great (sour cherry… not marasquino) the line goes out of the store for first time i seen, so if u guys have kids… Or u are still a kind inside come and get your scoop

I have been coming to this BR for the last 9 years coz it’s like a mile from our house. It has undergone an ownership change and I think the new owners are much more on top of things. It’s a young couple who are often in the store and are very hands on. The place is much cleaner and the staff seem much friendlier than before. So most of this review is mainly for the service… Coz the ice cream is always yummy!
I ordered a custom cake for my niece a year ago and dealt with the female owner (can’t remember her name). But she was super nice and my niece was thrilled to see her Monsters High ice cream cake. The lady rushed the cake for me… usually you need 24 hours notice but I ordered late, just the night before and she got it done for me by the next morning. She was sooo nice about it and very personable. I was very happy with the cake and her service.
Other times I’ve come in for the Cappuccino Blast and ice cream for my 4 year old son. The staff always greet me when I come in and they try to talk to my son, very friendly. The other girls who worked under the previous owner were nice too but they were always distracted by texting on their phones even while you’re trying to order. The new staff are always willing to give as many samples as you want while the previous used to give looks like it was inconvenient for them. So definite improvement here.
I’m pregnant so ice cream & chocolate malt shakes seem to be a constant craving… So I come here once a week & never disappointed. I think baby might want some tomorrow! YUM!

I give 5stars just for the quality of ice cream. I had two flavors, nutty salty caramel w/​Oreos and peanut butter chocolate, both tasted great. I haven’t gone to Baskin Robbins for longer than a decade because they tasted so cheap and bad!
I just stopped by to try the new flavor, and it was… wow good! Baskin Robbins got sooooo much better. They’ve got more interesting flavors and richness of ice cream has gotten improved a lot. Quality of ingredients are very good, stuff in the ice cream is so chunkier, bigger, and fuller with all natural ingredients.
At this location, saturday afternoon staff is friendly and helpful, not too crowded, clean, carries varieties of flavors than the one near by. I’ve already made my list of flavors to try next time, and am definitely coming back here more often.

I came here for an after-​lunch treat. I chose a single scoop of Jamoca Heath Crunch in a cup with caramel sauce over the top.
«Do you like the sauce?» he asked.
«I really like the sauce, «I anxiously replied.
«Then I’m going to put your single scoop in a large cup so the sauce won’t spill over.»
And indeed, the ice cream barista poured on a copious amount of sauce! He made me very happy. It was sweetly satisfying. The sauce, she is very good, no?
They also have a freezer of ice cream cakes (they sell birthday candles too) as well as pre-​packed containers of ice cream. Seating both inside and out.
