Soup from its phở is really good, I say it’s not MSG added, that’s good and rare to see in phở places. What impresses me is its service. Person behind counter is extremely friendly. As read from another comment below, it’s good as eating at a high-end restaurant and friendly service is hard to have in a dine in phở restaurant. Highly recommend this place.

This place has the best service and the food is always good. I get the bbq chicken mixed with noodles and have been very satisfied. Also the egg rolls are tasty! These people work hard and I think it’s important to support these small businesses. It’s hard to find any in Newport Beach.

Very good beef phở, even though I took it home and it cooled down a bit before I got to eat it. The broth was delicious and the cuts of meat were decent for the price. Tons of extra bean sprouts and plenty of chili oil and paste to take to go on the counter. I also ordered the BBQ pork and egg roll noodle dish. Good thing too because these noodles were much better in the phở than the provided noodles. I think being on their own in a styrofoam container turned the phở noodles rubbery before I had the chance to add them in. Friendly staff had my food ready to go within minutes of ordering, I only wish they were open on weekends.

This restaurant is in a food court across the street from where I live. The owners are very nice and offer good service, always. The food is good and the portions are pretty big.

This is a review on the phở. I didn’t like it. The broth tasted more like a chicken broth and had msg in it. I did not ask the owners to confirm this but I could tell there was msg because after a few minutes of eating the phở I had a headache, was thirsty, and felt fatigued. The meat quality was decent and the bowl was large. The phở was relatively cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I will not be back :(

This place is amazing! The prices are super great but the food is even better! It’s a small family owned stand and they’re always so super friendly! It was definitely out go to place :) My boyfriend and I have had everything from the phở, the noodles, the bahn mi, to the fried rice and vermicelli. The BBQ pork is my boyfriend’s favorite, it’s cooked so well and they give u a good amount whenever you order something with it. The portions for all their meals are really large, which is great if you’re like me and love leftovers. Even their bahn mi’s are huge!-and for $ 3.50! I love their spring rolls with tofu and other vegetarian/vegan options! They give so many veggies in everything! Definitely a great spot, if you haven’t tried it you should go! They’re the sweetest family :)

The phở here is top notch! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is it’s located in a business food court so not the most scenic spot. The hot items are kind of Panda Express like, but the phở is spectacular. The broth is amazing even without hoisin or sri racha and the noodles never get mushy. Oh and I highly recommend the spring rolls too!

I found this place a few months ago, and I have always found myself coming back. The ph comes out piping hot and yummy, they give you free samples of their Chinese food, and it’s oh so cheap(Thai tea for $ 2? Can I say heck yes???) The owners are so sweet and will always serve you with a smile. This place is also super busy around lunch time, fyi. Egg rolls are yummy, and their sesame, orange and Kung pao chickens are so nice and crunchy. They’re not too greasy and actually have large pieces of chicken in them(not all batter). Thai tea is not super sweet; it’s perfect!

I love this place. When I need my Vietnamese food fix I am here. Don’t let the food court atmosphere fool you, the food is so good. I usually get the BBQ pork and shrimp with the vermicelli noodle, the pork has good flavor and the shrimp is cooked just right. YUM!

I’ve been coming here for 6 years. Starting coming here when I was an apprentice in the union, on our lunch break and have continued to always come back when I work in the area. This place in located instead of a food court. But the quality doesn’t represent that in any way. The Phở here is sooooo good. It’s always very consistent and always very good. The women who works here is so nice and very polite. I highly recommend trying them place out.

My reviews are based on my favorite food item seafood noodle soup # 16. It has all the ingredients needed to make it as best of the best broth in town. It has pork, seafood, wonton and sometimes I can substitute pork with chicken. In addition, it ran by a couples husband and wife and they have been in restaurant business in years thus their customer service is top notch. They knew my favorite item and ordering before my turn to pay. They always smile, helping customers and talk to customers and asking for feedbacks and constantly trying to improve their quality food and service. Although it is located inside a food court, I can bet you receive service that you usually get from high end full service restaurants. You cannot go wrong with this establishment and menu.

Here you can order Phở with a side of sass. If the Chinese Viet owners don’t deliver on the snide comments you can be sure to get sick eating their food. Details below. I came here at the suggestion of someone who was craving Phở. Despite my minor bias against Phở in areas outside of Westminster and sgv, I went for it. So, after breaking that first cardinal rule I broke another by getting something other than Phở and that was the hieu tieu with spring rolls. Long story short: I got really sick and even my friend who got the Phở was throwing up days later. Personally, I did not suffer the same fate but the food sat in my stomach for days making me feel extremely uncomfortable and sick. I’ll spare you the details. Given that I have been eating at og joints in Westminster in San Gabriel Valley for years this has never been an issue. Stay away! Eat at your own risk!

This place is a real gem in my book. I usually have their BBQ pork bowl and it’s truly awesome every time. Well-prepared, juicy cuts of fine-quality barbequed pork on a bed of vermicelli noodles and salad. Yummy! To top things off, their customer service is simply top notch. Lastly, BB Kitchen’s prices are very reasonable.

How am I not the Duke and why did I not review BB Jamboree Kitchen earlier? I think I have gone to this restaurant more times than any restaurant in the area. I have watched the portions go from large to small and back. I called in many lunch orders and ate so many delicious items. I owe you a review! I was eating phở in a food court before it was cool. Given the distance from my office I have gottrn take out many times. I have to say the dine in experience is much better. Especially now that Flame Broilers is gone finding parking and seating is a bit easier. There is no contest this place rules the food court. The momo’s place is nasty. Expensive and it took forever. I understand that the food is cook to order but if I’m the only person there without a line come on! I would have cooked my own food if I could. BB is not fancy but given the prime location near Newport Beach /High end of Irvine a simple non overpriced meal is welcome. And yes there is good Asian food in Irvine so some people can get off their high horse. Haters gonna hate but you gotta shake it off Irvine! A few of my favorite items are the beef phở and noodle dishes. The portion is like a regular size but might be too small for someone expecting a large. I like the combo fried rice and the seafood crispy noodles. The Vietnamese style is different from the Chinese style but still good. Haha random comment I am writing this review during lunch outside the office and a squirrel is staring at me. I told him to stay calm I am an Elite and I know what I am doing. I also like this one dish I’m not sure what it is called it is like phở but with pork and I usually eat it with half rice noodle and half egg noodles. My friend recommended it to me and I am hooked. The ice coffee is a pick me up also but drink it early if you want to be able to sleep before midnight. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s quiet and you can always grab boba after lunch at Tapioca express. The parking is a lot better compared to years ago. I once had to park in the garage but now I can park in front even during peaktimes. For anyone that hates on Irvine, I love my free parking and easy access. I won’t get killed by crazy drivers and I won’t be stuck in traffic this is Irvine! Represent! If you work in the area and want some simple food stop by and get your grub on.

Their streamline is yummy and cheap! 2 items for about 6 bucks and some odd change. Got the noodles, tofu, and orange chicken(it’s pretty sweet). Customer service was on the ball today! If you go around 11:15am, there’s not a lot of people. The line starts to grow around noon. My coworker also really enjoys the chicken phở. They know her order by heart cause she frequents this place so often!

Ya know… for a food court sort of setting, I was surprised by how unhorrible this place is. Clean. Fast. Fairly priced. And dare I say, friendly! Phở broth is a bit MSG-ish even though they say they don’t use MSG. Noodles were firm but in a really good way. Sprouts were fresh and the meat was clean. I didn’t have an odd after taste. The spring rolls are immense and didn’t smell of fish so the shrimp were clean. Egg rolls are thin but they give you plenty of them along with a mountain of fresh lettuce so I was very happy. Thin egg rolls are easier to eat when wrapped in romaine so I prefer them over the thicker rolls. That’s all I’ve had here but I’m impressed. I’d definitely come back if I ever found myself in this strange little plaza that feels like a failure in development. If it weren’t so dismal in this center, I’d happily return more often since there’s underground parking and it’s FREE. Oh well. Hopefully a proper café(not just some stupid boba joint) and a convenience shop opens up here or something. Subway and Yoga and cheesy fondue won’t cut it.

Not bad. This is actually a food court. I wasn’t expecting that. I arrived early and beat out the rush which also meant that parking was a breeze. I ordered the #19 and some coconut water. Delicious. Its a rarity to find a Vietnamese joint in Irvine that is fairly decent which is what this place is to me. Its not great but good enough to suffice my appetite(for destruction lol jk). I only wish they sold boba and sandwiches(banh mi) as well but beggers can’t be choosers and I was very please with the food as it is. Also the drive is not that far from my workplace which means I shall be coming here more often.
