Excellent and very through Dr. I have had my children to go her for the last 10+ years and I could not ask for better care.

I interviewed a lot of pediatricians while I was pregnant and I am so happy I choose Dr. Chavez. The wait time is usually about 5 – 15 min depending on the day and it feels like she has all the time in the world to answer all of our question. That plus her approach that all babies are different and one size doesn’t fit all is what I like about her the most. We saw the nurse practitioner a few times and she is great too, she gave me some very helpful breastfeeding advise. And they have ²⁴⁄₇ nurse hot line, which we have used a few times on weekends.
I delivered at Hoag and at the time Dr. Chavez was not certified to perform first baby check at Hoag (that might not be the case any more, it was pending).
