This Corner Bakery is very close to our house and it is convenient to have a Sunday brunch. However that the service is not good. There is always something missing. We have tried to give it a change many many times but end up being disappointed. This morning we brought my in– laws to have family brunch. However that my in-laws were very grossed out of the dirty dishes that their food was served in. Hopefully the management heat us as neighborhood and fix the problems.

Super bummed out on this place. I’ve heard great reviews. I ordered a Caprese panini to go. It was pretty fast service for to go food but after I opened my food I realized why. It was literally the length of my finger and it had burnt marks on it, pretending to be grill marks from a panini press. There were two baby tomatoes in the sandwich total split in halves. It was just arugula, tomatoes, and cheese… One slice. Really disappointing. Wish it was better quality and tasting food.

Another Irvine location for this chain. Love their desserts. Always a good deal for me.

I love it here. Pretty much everything is amazing, especially their paninis, salads, and mac’n’cheese. Pretty reasonable prices for the amount of food they give you.

Corner Bakery is one of those«healthy misconceptions» that seem like they offer really good food. Does it taste good? Sure. Yet, all of their foods are grossly neglected in the low sodium department. So I had to take a star off, for that. Still, I’m on a low calorie kick, so I was able to order the ½ sandwich/trio item side, and still afford a bag of chips with it. Thank you #MyFitnessPal App, for making it easy. The California Grill Panini, was a delicious treat. It was full of veggies and cheese and placed between their Harvest bread. The Covatappi salad was too«vinegary» or whatever they put in it, but still manageable/palatable. I dissed the pickle. They offer a nice drink station, restrooms, ample indoor/outdoor seating, and free wifi. Score. This location also has a peaceful water fountain view outside, across from the movie theaters.

You gotta love Corner Bakery. As for this location, I have to sayings one of the best I’ve experienced. I normally do a phone order of my Anaheim Scrambler and then I come pick it up. The Scrambler has everything I love eggs, avocado, bacon and those roasted red potatoes. They always have my food on time and there friendly. If I’m ever coming here for lunch I love the Kale Chicken Cesar Salad, so good! The location is also perfect, right across from the movie theater, great place to grab a quick lunch! Overall this place is Amazing!

Lovely service. First time here and I’ll continue coming back. The manager, Christopher, was great. I had a slight problem and he fixed it right away and said«anything to make you happy». That’s awesome customer service! Thank you, Christopher!

My family and I have been eating here a bit more lately, and I have to compliment the staff. They are the most genuinely courteous, hardest working group I have ever seen. I even went so far as to thank one of the girls at the counter last time we were there, and said that you are all so great. She smiled. Thank you for making it a pleasure to continue to return.

I’d like to give this location the benefit of the doubt that they either didn’t know it was Friday at dinner, they had someone call out, or they have a new team working tonight. Either way, they were slammed and didn’t seem like they had anything running smoothly. Plates sat undelivered for 5+ minutes while I waited for my food to be packaged up to go. Multiple customers in a row seemed to have issues with their food and needed it sent back. I waited 20 minutes and only received my food that quickly because I flagged down one of the staff to check on it. One of the cashiers came over to see if I had been helped and when I held up my receipt she seemed to think I meant I was okay, so walked away and stood around waiting to ring someone up. Given, she can’t read minds, but if I had seen someone who was waiting who held up a receipt I’d at least ask their name, thank them for waiting, or offer to check on the order. Finally, I got my food and it was all there but the garlic bread I got was soggy and cold. The rest of the food was soso. I probably won’t come back, at least not on a Friday when the team can’t handle the dinner rush. I gave two stars because the staff weren’t awful, they just seemed incredibly overwhelmed.

Nice location in Irvine and easy freeway access. We stopped by here for a coffee and tea break. From LA trip. Bought Mac n cheese to go, They have good choices in their menu-from Soup, salad and Sammies. Who doesn’t love this place? Free Wi-fi, beautiful huge outside seatings. Highly recommended this place is next to a theather and pizza place. Great CS. Decent price. Definitely coming back in this area again one day! Don’t forget the desserts yummy cakes and cookies!

Fairly decent experience. Felt bad for an employee taking someone’s order who was asking every question in the book and really slowing things down. Another employee hoped on the register after noticing the wait was getting longer. Food was as you expect for a chaine like Corner Baker. Hot, plentiful, and medium price. It’s a great change from typical hamburger or chcken fast food. If we’re in the area again, we would definatly consider visiting again.

This short review is for their coffee. I love their hazelnut cream flavor and the baker’s blend. Their self-serve area is cornered off with plenty of room and easy access to cream and sugar. I prefer their coffee over Starbucks. They also have decaf and a darker roast, café europa. Milk and cream are always restocked as well as the coffee. Not much room to complain here.

I wanted to order the corner combo which included half a sandwich and a side of your choice of either Mac and cheese, a salad„ or a cup of soup. Turns out there are two different combos! There’s the corner combo and then there’s the breakfast combo. The person taking my order was new so she misunderstood my order and thought I wanted the breakfast combo. The whole ordeal took about 5 min to sort through as she was new and still learning where everything was on the system. Understandable. I ended up getting the half chicken pesto with a side of bacon Mac and cheese. The bacon Mac and cheese doesn’t have an extra charge so it’s like getting a little upgrade for free if you like bacon! Sandwich tasted great. Chicken was very tender and bread was soft and fresh. Wish the Mac and cheese was a little more cheesy. Tasted a little dry to me. But I loved that they added breadcrumbs to the Mac and cheese because it gave the food a little bit more texture. Also came with a pickle slice and a bag of chips!

Ordered and paid for 2 whole cinnamon cakes along with a couple of sandwiches. Someone else picked up the $ 50+ order and they forgot the cake. The girl who was helping then put 2 slices in the bag. Good thing he caught it and asked for the whole cake…

This review is strictly for the food. I got the Mac and cheese and Caesar combo. That was seriously the saddest Mac and cheese that I’ve ever paid $ 10 for. Corner bakery’s website describes it as «Cavatappi pasta tossed with a blend of three cheeses, topped with toasted bread crumbs». You sit on a throne of lies. It tasted like watered down Velveeta. Andddd there weren’t even«toasted bread crumbs». I asked for some and the dude was surprised, «oh, you want bread crumbs?» Yes, I’d like it the way it comes. They gave me crushed croutons. I love Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese is life. Don’t eat the Mac and cheese here. Ever. Stay home and eat Velveeta. It will be more satisfying. Disclaimer: I love the vegetarian penne dish. So amazing. If you have something you know is good here get that. Nothing else is safe.

I would have liked to have been impressed after reading the other reviews, but I was rather disappointed in the entire experience. I placed a combo to-go order with half a sandwich and cup of soup. I waited 20 minutes for my food. While I waited I noticed wait staff walking around expressionless and one server picked up a plastic drink lid from the floor and place it back in the dispenser. The girls behind the counter could barely reach the chips on a high shelf. Very inefficient. When I finally opened the container my half sandwich it looked like it was tossed into the container and had no mustard or mayo on it. The soup vaguely tastes like tomatoes. I can’t afford to eat here for lunch as the service is too slow. And as for the food, not worth the price.

Was in Irvine for work this morning and wanted breakfast, so I stopped in. I arrived at 6:00 M, they were not open yet. I called and the nice lady let me order it to be ready for when they did open. I had a scramble with bacon, onion and tomatoes, with a side of potatoes. I also had the hazelnut cream coffee, yummy! They have a nice area inside and out to eat in. The bathrooms were very clean as well. Service was friendly, and if in the area, I would try lunch there.

Looks nice – seating inside and out. Very similar to the Panera Bread style restaurants… but brighter! Their pastries, baked goods, etc sure displayed nicely in a glass cabinet. FOOD: Tried the tuna salad sandwich – liked that it had fresh vegetables(carrots, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes)…was not a fan of the weird tuna taste. Quite fishy – pun intended! Looked appetizing, didnt taste so great. The Siracha Black Bean soup, on the other hand – was scrumptious!!! Tasted wayyyy better than Panera’s. Didnt look so appetizing, but taste was amazing!

I’m standing here for my to-go order of a small salad and soup. I wouldn’t think that either are complicated to serve up, but here it is almost 20 mins of waiting and I still haven’t had my name called. This place is totally disappointing for a quick serve restaurant. Ugh!

Came here because Corner Bakery has a promo for a free sample of their new Spicy Asian Pork sandwich. Sign up for there mail list, they always have free promos! Service was quick. I did not like the set up of the restaurant, the walk ways are super tight and servers were constantly in your face when they walk pass you with food. Spicy Asian Pork — $ 8.79 — Shredded pork was seasoned pretty well, you can taste that general seasoning you get in Viet pork. The toppings were similar to what you get in a banh mi. Not really spicy. The BBQ sauce was not good, the tang balance seemed off. My sample was free, but I would rather pay $ 2 for a legit banh mi then buy this for full price.
