Awesome little pizza place! So authentic like a place you would find in a small town. Even sells candy at the counter with homemade signs. Such a refreshing change from the big corporations.

Love this tight little hole! In the wall! It’s the pizza I come for but I’ll come again to try the pasta. Parking is a little tight so bring some Vaseline because you’re in for a great time chowing down on their fine slices.

Had lunch here today ordered pepperoni pizza and it was great. The crust is NY style and taste great. Good portion of cheese unlike the chains. I will be back for sure.

Our favorite Italian food spot in Irvine. Decent service, delicious foods, and wholesome menu. Never been dissatisfied with our choices. Try Pasta Neptune for sure.

5 stars for their pasta, sandwiches, and service. I’ve tried a variety of their pastas and sandwiches and they’re always delicious and consistent. They have my favorite fettuccine alfredo in the Irvine area. Their meat-sauce spaghetti is also very delicious. They also have awesome chicken wings. I think most restaurants overcook their chicken wings, but the chicken wings from Cravings are nice and juicy. I’ve had them deliver to my apartment several times, and they always accommodate special requests about my food exactly how I want. I’ve never experienced a restaurant as reliable and accommodating to special requests regarding food preparation and delivery. This place is awesome. A+ 5 stars

This a good place to go to if you’ve got a pizza or Italian craving. They have decent lunch specials. $ 5.99 for one slice of cheese or pepperoni, and single trip to the salad bar. No drink included :( They have a long list of pastas and subs for $ 8.95 and a single trip to the salad bar. Again, no drink included in those lunch specials. This is why I gave three stars, I don’t like that their specials don’t include a drink and you can only go to the salad bar once. The food is good, not the best ever but like I said if you’ve got a craving and are in the area, this is your place to go.

Ordered from Cravings the other day for lunch since they’re one of the few places besides pizza that deliver to my work. I got the Cravings pasta and it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best pasta either. The sauce was very thin and soupy, but I liked that the portion was big and it had lots of sun-dried tomatoes and chicken in it. Overall an okay spot for delivery if you’re craving Italian and can’t leave the office to grab lunch.

So tried to place thanks to Unilocal. The food was good, just not a fan of the spaghetti. They overloaded it with garlic so it was overwhelming. But thank you for your attentive service when confirming my order on Eat24 and delivery! The lady was very sweet so I’ll definitely order from here again when I want a late night meal, but ask to keep the Garlic to a minimum. Haha. Calamari was yummy too!

Ordered delivery from EAT24… it took a bit, exactly 55 minutes as promised. We ordered the following: Lasagna Lunch Special — Co-workers said it was alright, not bad but not good. Would definitely pass on it! Combo Pizza — Co-workers said it was tasty. The pizza tasted great and wasn’t dry! Cravings Chicken with Pasta — I had this dish and all I can say was heaven! It was freaking off the wall delicious! Sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, creamy sauce and just enough pasta to be filling! Highly recommend getting 2 of these, one for now and the other for dinner! Pesto Penne — Co-worker said this was tasty. Heavy sauce with great flavor! Would get it again. Chicken Parm — Co-worker said it was tasty! Cooked to delight and definitely would get it again! All in all, it was a great experience!

This place has some of the best Marsala I’ve ever had. You can really taste the wine in the sauce! Authentic Italian taste linger in your mouth after a few bites. The Gorgonzola tortellini is very tasty as well. Highly recommended. The atmosphere is very casual, very old school New Yorkish! Definitely wouldn’t take a fancy date here.

I ordered shrimp scampi and they brought me a pasta plate with a bunch of what looks like boiled shrimp. See there picture. Definitely would not come back here, even with a discount.

I actually didn’t check Unilocal before I came here. But I think 3 – 4 stars is right. I ordered an Italian sub to go. The ingredients inside the sub were good, but the bread was dried out. The best part was actually the salad bar. As with your sub you get a choice of soup or salad the salad bar had lettuce, black olives, cucumber, shredded carrots, corn, croutons, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella cheese. So I was able to make a wonderful salad. The dressing was very good. I liked the atmosphere as it was cozy and cool inside. I’ve found much better Subs in the area but would return to try something else

Was craving pasta and saw this place on Unilocal.Thought oh a place called cravings for my craving! Food was ok. I had the chicken craving or something like that which was chicken with penne in a creamy tomato sauce. It was pipping hot so that was a plus.

Quick delivery service. Good pizza but average for the price. Heard good things about the pasta which we might try in the future. Not too much else to say for now.

My friends and I were lazy on the Sunday and wanted some pizza. We didn’t realize was Easter Sunday but luckily they’re open. We ordered a large pizza for four people to share half combo which has a lot of meat on it and have garlic chicken with white sauce, its a bit pricey but the delivery guy came right to the door even though we live in a gated community. I don’t know how he got in, but it was very convenient for us. We also got the house salad which is a little bit plain… not much in it.

The set up of this place is a bit odd. On one hand it is a simple pizza fast food type joint but it also caters to the dining in crowd with small tables illuminated with candles in the evening. We had a Groupon and had no problems using it. We ordered the bruchetta and it was absolutely amazing! We were disappointed in our entrees as they both lacked flavor. The wine was fairly priced at $ 6.50 a glass. The service was decent and fyi the parking is sometimes nonexistent in that shopping center.

Came here a couple times on weekend bc the gym is nearby. Completely deserted both times. How is this place still in business? It would probably help if the food was any good. We ordered the Cajun shrimp appetizer. It came out looking like a bisque soup served in a gravy boat. Wtf so weird. I might have been okay with the sauce if it was good and even remotely Cajun tasting. The shrimp weren’t very fresh either. We also ordered their meat special calzone. The insides were just okay(onions inside were served hot but 90% raw) but the crust was pretty good. We had ordered pizza the last time we came in but didn’t notice the crust to be especially good as the calzone crust was. Also ordered the Mamma Mia pasta. It’s was a ‘90s throwback filled to the brim with a bunch of sun-dried tomatoes and oozy, acidic tomato cream sauce. Nothing special. The side salad that came with it for an extra $ 2 was surprisingly good with cucumbers, black olives, tomatoes, and shredded mozzarella cheese on the iceberg lettuce. The service is friendly if somewhat desperate. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with a lot of other places to eat. I can see why everyone else prefers to go elsewhere.

I got the lunchtime sandwich board special: one slice of pepperoni pizza and salad for $ 5.99. The pizza was whatever, pedestrian and totally forgettable, the crust being too chewy and the sauce tasting canned. In my opinion, you can get a bigger, better slice for less at Costco. I did like the access to the salad bar, however. You can pile on as much as you want, which makes the deal a pretty good one, but understand that the selection is rather limited. Unfortunately, Cravings Pizza did not satisfy my pizza cravings. The quality of their pies really needs to improve to warrant a return visit.

I’m liking this place cause it is close to work, has some good food and you just can’t beat the price for the amount of food you get, especially in this area of Irvine. I’m actually giving it 3.54 stars. This place caters. I’ve tried two items here now. I tried the hot pastrami sandwich. It was very good and decent sized. The pastrami meat was excellent quality, not too fatty, not too salty and lots of flavor but I wouldn’t recommend getting it to go cause the juices all soaked into the lower slice of the bread loaf and that made the sandwich soggy. Get one if you’re a pastrami lover and eat it there, you won’t be disappointed. Today I tried the lunch special. See my picture of it. It’s a great deal. After tax for under $ 10, you get to pick a main dish from a large selection(see my pic of the menu) of Italian meals and you get a bottomless soda and all-you-can-eat salad bar or bowl of soup. The salad bar is pretty good and has freshly cut veggie items with lots to choose from. For the lunch special today I got the calzone with pepperoni. You get one topping on your calzone for the special. The calzone wasn’t quite hot in the middle but it was filled with fresh cottage cheese style mozzarella or ricotta, not sure which and plenty of pepperoni. The outside crust was golden brown and very hot. I know calzone to typically come with the harder mozzarella that melts, just like you get it on a pizza; this was a bit different but excellent. It was gigantic for a lunch meal. A friend got the calamari rings, so I got to try them, which were very good but nothing to rave about. They came pipping hot and with some hot marinara dipping sauce. My friends each got the special, one got the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. He said the sauce and spaghetti was just ok, but the chicken parmesan was good. He also got minestrone soup which he said had a fair amount of noodles and vegetables but also had a lot of broth/liquid. It looked just okay to me. I really like Gina’s minestrone, see my review link at the bottom of this review, but at least they make it here and it isn’t out of a can. My other friend got the meat ball sandwich and he said it was good too but also commented that he isn’t a meat ball sandwich connoisseur so, to me, that means it wasn’t an off the wall kinda dish, just good. He had the clam chowder which to me looked very good. It was so hot the bowl was still steaming after he had eaten all the soup outta it. Good thing he’s got a leather tongue. My suggestions for this place, just my two cents, which probably aren’t worth two: Get some new way to dispense your salad dressings. The squeeze containers aren’t user friendly. There is a dressing/oily coating on the outside, enough I had to wash my hands after touching them and difficult to dispense the dressing with a thick blue cheese. Also, the calzone would be better half the size yet filled to the edges with the filling, rather than a lot of bread. Everyone is low carb. or carb. conscientious these days and the calzone with soda and salad bar is too much to eat for lunch and at that price I don’t see how they are making a profit on it. Here is a link to my Gina’s review
