Divine Nails & Lashes

When the girl put my sandals on it hit that toe and I asked her to redo it, instead she just used her nail to scrape part off and repaint a coat and topcoat. That toe came off the next day. I called and they offered to fix but they were «too busy that day» and I didn’t have time to go back later in the week. One full week after the pedicure almost all my toes are chipped. I get pedicures every 3 weeks and I’ve never had one this bad. Mine usually last 3 – 4 full weeks before any chipping.

What a great nail salon. I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday and the wait was only 10 minutes. Kim was a perfectionist on my gel French manicure as Kimmy gave me one the the best foot massages I have ever had. She really finds all the muscle and pressure points. I left feeling like I had just been to the spa. There is a beachfront mural on the wall and relaxing music. It is very clean with new leather seats for the pedis and we were all given a small bottle of cold water.

Basically what to expect here. We left, went to another nail salon and were treated a lot better.

Let me start off by saying they need to change the name of their business. I feel anything but divine. I walked in to have my acrylics filled in and for a polish change. I was told it would be $ 26. I asked why the high price, particularly when I walked in a couple weeks earlier to inquire about pricing and was told a fill is $ 20. My tech told me a fill is never $ 20. Weird. But ok. She took off my old polish which was a neon coral. Sadly she failed to remove all of it and it is still visible in my nail beds and cuticles. Not a good look with my matte cocoa colored polish.
I asked to have my acrylics filed down and shortened a bit. This part she did good with. I also asked to have them filed square as opposed to my current stiletto shape. The edges of my nails are so sharp I’m afraid to touch anyone!
The polish job is dreadful. I could have done a better job after downing a bottle of wine. It’s lumpy, uneven, and the tip of every nail is transparent as the tech didn’t apply even coats. I asked for matte top coat and she didn’t apply it evenly either, cleaving shiny areas of polish around the cuticles. This is the WORST nail salon I’ve ever visited, not to mention over-​priced.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is so friendly and my nails last so long! Judy did my beautiful nails today! She is such a sweetheart. 5 stars all the way !!!

Update of an update: Not even an hour after I posted my last review, I was contacted by Nathaniel from the salon to ask me about my experience. I was offered a free service at the salon and I must say, the customer service is excellent. I felt like as a customer, my voice was heard. Judy did my new set and she did an amazing job, she was so nice and through the whole way kept stopping and asking me if I liked the nails to make sure I was completely satisfied. Due to the excellent customer service, I will definitely be coming back here again, this salon actually cares about their customers.
Update: so I’ve gotten my nails done three times by Lena, the first time I was charged $ 35, which was fine, next time $ 40 and finally the last time $ 50. She said it’s because of the shape and how long my nails were which is weird because they’ve been the same length each time, she also said to take off old acrylics it would be $ 10. I called the salon today and asked how much the take off would be to just put new ones on and the lady said $ 5. It’s not about the five dollars it’s about the concept. I came in the last time with my mom, we both got basic pedicures yet charged different prices for the same exact thing and. I feel very taken advantage of, not to mention how rushed and in a bad mood she was in while doing my nails yet when another girl came in she was like oh honey this and honey that. It looks like I need to find a different salon, she does good nails but she makes up prices and that’s not okay.
So I decided to try a new salon after mine was busy and I’m so glad I did! Let me start by saying that I’m a super difficult customer, if my nails (acrylics) come out too short or not the way I like them, I make my nail tech start over (which is why I tell them to try one nail first before we take off a whole hand) I do feel bad but if I’m paying for something, I want it to be perfect :) Lena did my nails and I was sooooo glad her English was perfect and she was able to understand EXACTLY what I wanted and she knew how I wanted the length. After scaring so many nail techs, I’m so glad I found one that gets what I want, definitely a repeat customer!

Call ahead because they do get busy around lunchtime. You can make an appointment, or simply call ahead to see how busy they are (like I do).
The salon is clean, and the staff are friendly and quick. Good quality polish (OPI, Essie), too!

I got a gel manicure and pedicure. They did an amazing job! They took their time with the pedicure and spent a good amount of time with callus treatment. Also had a long massage! They definitely took their time and I love the results! They were very friendly too!

My go to place in Irvine for manis and pedis – friendly staff, clean and professional… never disappointed. Great work ladies!

They did an awesome job. I was surprised that they massaged me as long as they did for a gel mani & pedi. I was really happy with the flower design she did on my toes.
I wish I lived closer to this salon. I’d come every time for a mani pedi.

I LOVE this place soooo much! It took me a while to find right person for my lashes since I moved to Irvine from LA. I am so happy that I finally found Annie! She is amazing! My lashes ALWAYS look fabulous and hold very well. She is very professional, meticulous, responsible… I just can go on and on. I highly recommend Annie for your lashes and nails. And you will appreciate her prices too

I was in last week and asked for a pedicure. My feet were soaked in plain water, polish removed, cuticles taken care of, polish applied and then asked to pay. $ 40!!! No scrubbing, hot towel, massage, nothing. Looking at their website after, $ 40 should have bought me much more than a Polish change. I feel kind of taken advantage of. I should have paid $ 20-​$ 25 according to the site. Pretty disappointed. The Polish looks great but when I questioned $ 40 for a Polish change they all smiled and nodded their head. I find this very rude that they take advantage of their guests, if you don’t look at the website first. Stupid. Guess I won’t be returning unless they can compensate me for the difference of what I should have paid.

Very good service, very nice people! Has a nice chat with the girls while they were working. Loved the mani-​pedi! They took their time and I enjoyed every bit of it

First off, their website is horrible, only promoting nails. It says eye lash extensions, but nothing else in what that means or what they offer. Only Promoting Nails. I was willing to over look a bad website.
But then I was turned away after making an appointment online today. There was a problem with their online appointment system. «Not my problem.» She smiled and nod and apologized, but didn’t offer any solution to assist me except to come in later. Which was hard to do since I was at my lunch break which I explained to her. I have a show Friday and my time was wasted. There were no customers in her Salon, but hey. I guess they were busy? Sorry for the bad review, I just have a high expectation in customer service.

Love love love my nails! So clean and pretty! Kimmy did them and I liked how she was really detailed oriented and did them just how I like! Really clean place too! Def recommend.

I came in for a gel nail change and I was squeezed into the schedule right away. The ladies are so sweet! I think I found a reason to keep visiting OC :)
Dianne was my manicurist and she was so patient and accommodating. I have a bad cut on my thumb and she made sure she didn’t use the nail polish remover on that nail so it doesn’t hurt me :) she took over an hour to do my nails! I’m not a fan of long nails and I play the violin so can’t have them be too long. She asked me if I’m comfortable with a certain length and shaped it accordingly. That’s amazing service! Also in the end, she gave me nice arm massage, loved it. I will definitely be back!

Had an appointment at 3 but walked in 10 minutes early. They weren’t able to take me just yet but they’re very polite and asked me to wait just a few minutes till the girl who was supposed to take me.
The girl I had was very patient and the interior of this place is very clean– (I’m very picky about this) they have 3 girls working on a Saturday so please do make an appointment because the girl that came in after me was told to wait 30 – 40 minutes.
Spa pedicure is $ 25. Pricing seems fair in Irvine and I’ll definitely recommend people coming here! :)

I love it here. Catherine did my gel manicure & she was very thorough. Kimmy did my pedicure & it was perfect as well. I just wished they gave longer hand & feet massages.
I like that they’re open early on Saturday (9am) and that they’re also open on Sunday.
