Envoy

Our company used Envoy for a major corporate website re-​design. It was a disaster. Although the site looked like it was built properly, it was horribly flawed from a code/​development perspective.
These people, like many other agencies like them, will sell garbage to non-​technical Marketing departments, without a conscience. God bless the dev that inherits their mess!
Just don’t. Coming from someone with an inside view of the «agency» deal, this is one of the bad ones. They prey on ignorance, while charging top-​dollar for Photoshop comps (#your-​nephew-​has-​this-​skill).
We asked them to add something that would literally require adding a class to an HTMl tag. They wanted $ 20,000 to do so. Our (over-​worked) developer got it done in 3 minutes (literally). (We just wanted to see what they said).
AVOID Envoy. Find someone you can trust. (hint: gold-​plated toilet seats, doesn’t mean they are good designers).
