Found out thru friend at work about this thing. Anyway I stopped there around 1:00 or 2:00 pm, there were still no lines which was awesome. Apparently the trucks rotate so if you go one week and hope a particular truck in there again it probably but you can call monkey sports and figure out witch ones or follow them on Twitter. I definitely can’t wait to go again! One big disappointing for me was that most of the food truck don’t accepted debit o credit card. The majority of them work on a cash only basis. i didn’t know that and was caught unprepared. Next time I’ll come ready

Such a great lunch spot. New trucks every Friday. You can call monkey sports ahead of time to figure out which ones too.

Apparently every Friday there’s different food trucks and I just became aware of it! The trucks rotate so if you go one week and hope a particular truck is there again it probably wont be but I’m sure if you ask anyone working they’d let you know. Sadly, i cant remember the names of the trucks that were there or what I got, they were obviously good but not that memorable, I definitely cant wait to go again!

You need to follow them on twitter to get the latest news and ever-changing lineup. Naturally, lines get long around noon. It’s a relatively small location, and placed in the Irvine business complex, it attracts lots of working folk.

Different trucks every week, usually four or five are in the lot. The crowds are too heavy meaning you don’t have to wait a long time to order or get your food. My favorites are the Lime Truck, Bacon Mania and Spud Runners.

I heard a lot about this food truck stop since I work near by. Now that I have finally stopped by I am going to have to make this a Friday routine! There was a lot of options. I tried shortstopbbq and it was great! Would definately order from there again, but also excited to try the rest. The day I went there was Short stop BBQ, The lime truck, seabirds, Burger Monsters, and I few more I cant remember. I got there about 1:30 pm so there was no lines. I am happy I went and will be back!

My first lunch time food truck fare in Irvine! Woohoo! Unfortunately, I got there after I ate lunch(doh!), and just happened to be in the neighborhood(had to stop by Jo-Anns cuz I’m crafty like that… baaahahaha…get it?). Today’s line up: (some trucks start 11:00, some start 11:30 but all close at 2:00) Seabird Lobsta BaconMANia Lee’s Philly Dos Chinos SpudRunners Sexy Burgers Mustache Mike It was already 1:45 when I got there, so it wasn’t crowded at all and I was able to find parking(yes, I drove across the street from my parking spot in front of Jo-Anns…*my excuse* need to consider safety when I have my kids with me). I must admit that I got a little excited when I saw Seabirds(The Great Food Truck Race!!!), but I was a little apprehensive about my kids seeing the Sexy Burger truck, although the girl who was taking orders was actually kind of *sexy* attractive(ohhh I think I just heard some dude’s babe-dar go «Whatwhaaat?»). Anyhoo, I ended up getting some Italian Ice from Mustache Mike(separate review), but if I get a chance to come back again, I’ve got my eyes set on SpudRunners(if they’re there) :D

Another food truck location for the lunch hour! A group of food trucks meet here every Friday, from 11:30am — 2:00pm. Today, we had the following line up: The Lime Truck: Seabirds Truck: BACON MANia Truck: SpudRunners: Shortstop BBQ: Ranchan Ramen Truck: Supposedly, this is their USUAL line up: The Lime Truck — present SpudRunners — present Lobsta Truck — absent Dos Chinos — absent Oh For Sweets Sake — absent Komodo Food — absent ChompChompTruck — absent Guys, if you are reading this, you need to step up your game and update your website and tweets! There were many confused and unhappy people today! Or … maybe it was just me. –_– First of all, the parking here SUCKS. If you plan on coming with some friends or coworkers, please CARPOOL. The construction on Barranca doesn’t make the situation any better, so give yourselves enough time to get here. There’s roughly about 20 parking spaces in the lot and some across the street in the Staples plaza. Secondly, please bring cash. Not ALL food trucks honor debit and credit cards, except a few(see their website for details). Lastly, I’m glad I still came out and tried a couple new trucks today! Stay tuned for my individual reviews for them! ^_^
