Great food and nice atmosphere. Mariners Church and its employees are wonderful.

I’ll have to disagree with Dustin. It has a great atmosphere and that is the only good thing, the food was awful and over price for what it is. I go out to restaurants if the resturant can cook better then me or that I can appreciate the food like in n out, gulfstrems but it seems like it was sub bar.

I am so surprised on how good the food is here! Price is also very reasonable. I have had meals here 5X already and everyone, from the cashier, to the helpers to the chef have such a pleasant and professional positive attitude. The café also over looks a beautiful and clean small lake, such a peaceful and pleasant place to enjoy a meal and meet clients or friends.

We had this place cater a lunch that was sponsored by the German Tourism Board for a reformation trip we’re planning and they hit it out of the park. The chef, Craig, made a fantastic buffet with sausage/sauerkraut, spatzle, mushroom dumplings, potato pancakes and apple strudel and everyone just raved about how delicious it was. We were all very impressed.

We stopped by today for lunch but were completely ignored by the staff. They saw us but continued washing utensils and chatting with each other in Spanish, never greeting or acknowledging us. After several minutes, we gave up and walked out.

Decent Café, but AVOID the soda machine. I think something is mixing incorrectly. I’d go the bottled soda rout instead.

I tend to get the same things every time, I am a creature of habit and once I find something I love, I get it. For breakfast — the cheese bagel. I don’t even know how to explain it. It is like the crispy cheese on the bottle edge of a pizza — kinda like the best part of the pizza. Lunch and dinner? Hands down the turkey burger and fries. It is two meals worth and juicy and delish. Yes this is my church, yes I go there regularly, but I could eat anywhere and tend to think of the Global Café as a great meal option. And the fries are crispy and perfectly salted. Cannot forget to mention the fries.

Unilocalers weren’t kidding about this café being nestled in a mega-church — it’s in the worship center of a Google campus-esque church. The built environment is beautiful, and the café has everything a person could want, whether for meeting up with friends or working for long hours.

Great place to enjoy the service or just chat with friends while enjoying sone food to fill your belly. They have something for every pallet and taste. You can go healthy or scarf down on something fried or grilled. The menu has a nice variety to pick from. They also have things your kids would enjoy too. Come out and enjoy this relaxing comfort zone.

I love having breakfast or lunch meetings here– tasty food, free wifi, beautiful lake view outside, attached to a large Christian gift/bookstore, very reasonable Eggs Benedict on Sundays– enjoy breakfasts, salads, burgers, pizza, frozen yogurt machine/toppings, drink refills while you read or use your laptop, takeout, speciaslty coffees– one of the better kept secrets in OC. They even have Ruby’s burger or hot dog/fries/drink deals on the patio Sunday mornings.

This is pacific whey meets religious bookstore. The food is pretty good. The best part is that all profits go to support mission work both locally and internationally. The Global Café is located at Mariners Church at the corner of Newport Coast Drive and Bonita Canyon Drive in Irvine. When things get busy, the service does seem to fall apart.

This is wonderful to have a café at the church. It’s really great to dine alone or with friends while enjoying and listening to service. Good food, reasonable prices and unlimited drinks is great. It’s even nice to go there and enjoy lunch or coffee on a non-service day. One of favorites! Make sure you check the hours before going to make sure they’re open. If they are, make sure to check out the great book store and chapel next door.

Wow, I was impressed by the variety, quality and preparation! This café is a hidden Gem, but i must share it with others. «So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you» — Mathew/Bible. …With that said, i must tell the truth, even if it hurts b/c I like to hear the truth… I’m sorry, but service needs to improve(by leaps and bounds). The café is in a peaceful and friendly venue — church. It’s bit disappointing when the server is loud, unwelcoming, unhelpful. But i still give the Café a 5, for being present and offering so much! Free internet, unlimited coffee/tea, beautiful setting, quite(despite the loud server), great food. Limited hours, so call ahead.

Used as a second office by many, the space is great, the food is good for a café and the coffee has plenty of caffiene. If you don’t mind working inside(literally) a church, I’d recommend this spot. Usually quite and a great setting. It’s worth drinking some fake Starbucks everyone once in a while. It is attached to Mariners Church on the corner of Newport Coast Drive and the 73.
