In-N-Out burger is all the rave & will always be a hallmark of SoCAL’s unbeatable, wallet friendly, delicious, fast food spot. At least in SoCal, In-N-Out is growing like Starbucks… popping up in every corner. This one is located in the UCI plaza(aka. prepare yourself for long ass lines at the drive through & inside) High school students & college students galore… Menu is simple — Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double Double… etc; But we all know there are a few inside scoop tips to make your burger just that much more scrumptious! Here are my tips: (Most free of charge — to my knowledge: o) *ADD: Pickles *GET: Extra toasted buns *GET: Whole grilled onions(added $$) *GET: Jalapeños or Chopped Chilis on the side *GET: Extra spread on the side *FYI: Animal Style BURGER — includes extra Thousand Island spread, mustard grilled patties, and extra pickles. *FYI: Animal Style FRIES — topped w/cheese, spread, and grilled onions *FYI: Protein Style — replace the buns with lettuce(«healthier» alternative — salad burger?) *FYI: Grilled Cheese option for the vegetarians One burger will generally cost you around $ 4 – 6.

Good, fast service! Super useful for a really long line of hungry college students. :)

open til midnight, walk in faster than drive through. Outstanding as always. Ordered the fries crispy so they are more done — not a limp fry fan.

The best In-N-Out ever. I lived in Southern California basically my whole life and had my fair share of In-N-Out but the UTC one is the best: perfectly grilled buns, fresh veggies, perfect amount of their special sauce, friendly service, etc etc etc. Just a California perfection master piece.(Sorry having a moment here.) Anyways… today I tried a double single(like a double double but with just one cheese) and holy cow, the best thing ever. My usual order used to be a cheese burger + grilled onions + raw onions but it will now change due to this glorious moment of the cashier Vincent who introduced me to this.(Thanks man!) He recommended a whole grilled onion. I knew about it but felt bad to ask for it but he recommended so I just went for it! It was different but it a good way but I think I’m going to stick with my usual grilled + raw onions combo(I love onions what can I say hehe). Oh and drive thru can get pretty intense. I get intimidated so I just eat in even if it’s by myself, which is most of the time… #lonerlife

Love eating here at night. Got a double double with a vanilla shake and that ended up being the same price as getting a munchie meal box at Jack. But even better. I personally don’t like the fries here but that’s just me

I love me a good in n out. This location can get really busy and sometimes it takes 10+ minutes to get your order, but that’s fine as it’s all freshly made tasty food! The double double animal style with animal style fries is my favorite meal here.

Woohoo! As good as it gets! I’m a huge fan of burgers and IN N Out have accomplish all my need! Their food was amazingly delicious and they have been wrapping their product in recycle paper since 19-something(according to the burger wrapper), but it was amazing!

This in n out is in UTC, which is close to where I intern. My coworkers and I rushed here for lunch, and the orders took quite awhile to complete. Luckily, I had already brought lunch that day, but they wanted me to accompany them, so I did. I almost decided to get a full meal, but and though they didn’t seem too busy at the time(at least by in n out standards), I decided against it and just ordered fries. They came out right away, for which I was grateful. My friends ordered before and after me, and we all tried to find a table to sit down. I then went out to get my sandwich, came back, and finished most of my fries(slowly) before my friend’s simple hamburger came out. It had been at least 10 minutes. My fries were more under done than usual, but whatever, fries are fries I suppose. My friends didn’t complain about the burgers, so I guess other than the wait, our not so fast food was pretty decent. I still prefer a location closer to home though :/

This busy In N Out(then again, which In n Out isn’t busy) is located right across from UCI in University Town Center. While it has a huge dining area, the space and seats fills up quickly during prime dining hours — so its a good idea if you can to go during off-peak/non traditional dining times. The service here is great — the clerks are cheerful and they try to make an effort to greet you each time you walk into the door. Ordering is easy and straight forward, you get your receipt, drink cup and then wait. Dining area is relatively clean, I noticed an employee walk the dining area a few times during my stay to wipe down tables and chairs. The soda area is also kept tidy — which is nice since this area in other places can quickly become a mess. For some reason, the cooking time seems much longer if you’re dining in than drive thru(I guess DT has to be quicker since people are waiting in their car) — the wait was probably about 15 minutes for my single order of a #1 meal. Parking is decent, it’s UTC so its going to be pretty bad regardless of when you go — the drive thru lane is pretty quick — and during busy times, theres a clerk out front taking your pre-order so your wait is minimal by the time you pay. Great thing about this location is that they open late — I think around 1 or 2am.

Just like any In-n-Out, this one lives up to In-n-Out’s standards! Although this one is pretty much the same as all In-n-Outs, this does not mean it is bad! The one thing that I noticed that separates this one from other ones is the dining space. The dining room is very large with a raised ceiling that you won’t see at many other In-n-Outs. It sits more than your average In-n-Out and still has great service and food! However, it will probably be somewhat crowded because of hungry college students from UCI. I’d recommend this In-n-Out just as much as any other one, if not, even more!

This place was by far the best in n out place I have been to. It was perfect and they had our burgers ready within minutes. Overall it wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday night and it was enjoyable. I hadn’t had a burger that good in a while!

Should be renamed to In-N-Stay. It shouldn’t be called fast food when you have to wait there for more than 20 minutes. No matter when I go, the line for the drive thru is always long. Takes forever! The food itself is ok. Everytime I order fries, it’s always soggy. So much for fresh. When I hear the word fresh, I expect it to be just made. Not something that has sat there for quite some time. Please… I hate soggy fries. At least the burger has always been consistent.

I love in n out. This location does get busy because it’s right across from UCI and I’m sure University High comes here too, but quality and consistency is always there. It takes some time after you order to retrieve your food, but most in n outs are like that too! I always get a cheeseburger with grilled onions and regular onions(onions are tasty heh), sometimes no tomatoes, and it always comes out superb! I don’t come quite regularly but every now and then I do crave in n out. The fries are yummy but never enough! The vanilla shake is pretty good but sometimes hard to drink. Customer service is 5⁄5!

The food itself is good, and the location is prime! There’s always a huge wait during lunch/dinner time, especially through the drive-through, so I try to come during off hours to get my food fast and hot. However, when there are is a lot of traffic and orders, I’ve experienced my order being a bit different from what I ordered… I usually order two fries with a double double with whole grilled onions, but sometimes my double double comes with chopped chilis or chopped grilled onions, which I’m not really complaining about, but it does grip me when they forget my 2nd order of fries :( That’s probably more my fault for not checking the bag when I receive it, but I wish it wasn’t a problem at all in the beginning.

Good place to get a quick burger, fries, and shake. The service is fast, and the burger is as good as any other In-N-Out.

Located in UTC across the street from the Land of the Zot Zot Zot, In-n-Out prospers by taking in the money of crying sad college students(and other patrons) and spitting out pure bliss in the forms of burgers, fries, shakes, and condiment sauce(aka special sauce: D) Came here straight after a hackathon because this is the place you go when you feel like a champion: P Got a protein style hamburger because I was lazy. Everything is fresh. The lettuce– fresh You don’t see any stains/any part of it going bad. Hamburger good. Tomatoes– fresh. And if you want to add special sauce, then you will totally and most definitely love it. The bad thing is that when this place is backed up, it gets backed up. Because at noon, many students of UCI will come across to In-N-Out and get their fix! They do have a drive through, but that also is long as well and backs up. Great food, well toasted buns. If you have a car, try to come here at an off time or try to go to another great In-n-Out around your neighborhood. This one gets really full pretty quickly. Unless you’re me at 12.15am, then it’s only a 5 – 10 minute wait(: Also ask for fries well done if you like em like that. Add special sauce or Animal style. Fall in love.

This place is in UTC. Very close by to school, just right across it. It’s the perfect spot for lunch or break hours. The service here is fast and most by, the cheese burger meal is my fave. My friends prefer to get the cheese burgers with lettuce wrap instead to feel«skinnier». Hahahahha. A lot of parking but it might be a headache if you’re going during noon. –1 star, the fries here are not always fresh. You can tell by the color of my fries(dark brown)

Five guys or In-N-Out. All yall«Five Guys» supporters needa get the hell out and move to the East Coast. Five guys is super over priced for what it is and you can probably get 2 in-n-out meals for 1 five guy meal. And honestly, I’d STILL choose 1 In-N-Out meal over 1 five guys meal. C’mon now. I think I literally cried one time when I ate In-N-Out. No lie.

This place really is as good as they say. It’s fast, classic, and attracts all types of demographics. We were parked next to a minivan and in front of a Bentley. Everyone loves their classic Cali burgers. The seating at this place was really fun and the drive through has a worker outside taking orders. In the 100 degree heat. Talk about dedication! We got a couple of 2×2 burgers, one fully loaded and the other animal style. You really can’t go wrong at this franchise.

It’s your Classic in and out! This location is very popular given its across the street from UCI and near university high school. I only try to come here during off hours(before 11:30 am or after 2pm) for lunch.

In-N-Out is a must everytime I come to California. I am never disappointed. Rode a bike to find this gem near the UCI campus. Our journey took us far and wide and after sweat and tears we finally made it to the red palm trees and yellow arrow. Atmosphere: Right near the UCI campus, typical of all In-N-Out places inside and out. Plenty of seating available. Service: try to avoid the lunch hour rush. They do a great job for how busy they are. Employees walk around asking if you need any help going above and beyond what is expected of most fast food joints maybe In-N-Out is more fast casual? Food: ordered my regular… Double double animal style with animal style fries. I usually get a shake but decided not to today. I love the chilis because it adds that kick that sometimes I feel is missing in a good burger. Intangibles: double double with fried animal style!!!

Best In-N-Out Burger in the LA metro area. It’s super clean and there’s ample seating. It’s nothing like the In and Out’s in LA proper. Not nearly as crowded. It’s actually quite a pleasant experience being there. The parking lot is huge. No problems at all finding a close parking spot. I usually avoid In and Out because of how crowded it is. To me, it’s just not worth the wait. This In and Out is the way I wish they all were. Like they say, «It’s what a hamburger is all about!»

+ Efficient service + Ample seating — Parking spaces near the restaurant are somewhat blocked by the long drive-in lines — Parking might be tougher when it is busy In-N-Out, what’s not to love? This location is generally pretty busy, but they seem to operate pretty efficiently. Better than a lot of other locations that aren’t as busy. I never have to wait for a seat at this location, but if you plan on a drive-thru order, you might have to wait a while. The lines are pretty long. Its a shame this location is further from my home than others.

I’ve been coming to this In-N-Out a lot. Its across the street from where I have to pick up my brother at UCI so I hop over and pick up some double doubles whenever I get bored(yes I’m a bored eater lol). The place is super packed at all times of the hour every day every week. The drive thru is just as long but the service here is tremendous(as most In-N-Outs are). There’s outdoor seating as well as indoor as well so its not too bad but despite that you still have trouble at times finding a place to eat. On to the food, I usually go with the double double. However, this is the only In-N-Out where I’ve ever gotten a 4X4 and yes I actually finished it on that particular day(much to my amazement). For making burgers so large with so many patties, it actually doesn’t fall apart or look horrendous. I have to give it up for their presentation. Everything comes out as it should be. Now that’s consistency which is important.

This is an easy one. Craving a quick bite? Not feeling fancy? Want to satisfy your hunger? Do your friends want to get something to eat? I dislike eating fast food, but In-N-Out has always been my exception. This spot has always been a gem to the UCI community, as it satisfies late night eats and quick bites with friends. Plus, some UCI events give out complimentary vouchers(rare, but they do). Want to save money? Instead of ordering Animal Fries, I always opt for an order of Fries with their Special Sauce on the side(only thing you’re missing is onions and cheese, but who needs that extra guilt?). Want to feel a little lighter after eating? Opt for making your burger Protein Style. I love getting my burgers this way(once I went, I couldn’t go back), as it feels lighter, fresher and I don’t feel as guilty when I have to eat here with friends. The meal is still filling itself! UCI friends, make memories here. You’ve gotta bet you’ve been here a couple times throughout the years. It gets busy, and it’s always busy, but it’s great.

The interior of this In-N-Out is spacious and they need every inch because at any given time you visit it feels as if half the student body of UCI has walked across the street to eat here. Definitely the loudest In-N-Out I’ve been to as there are always plenty of «bro hijinks» and«BFF boisterousness» continuously occurring. And yet the crew here keep the lines moving quickly and pump the orders out even more quickly. Although I’ve never used the drive-thru it appears to move at a good pace. And — most importantly — the burgers and fries are consistently fantastic as you would expect from In-N-Out.
