I have sent flowers, so very successfully through ftd and never experienced the level of dissatisfaction as I did with this company. I have had, and sometimes expect mediocre service including the quality. It is a site unseen type of trust when you send flowers and I accept that. This shop pales in comparison, ever so greatly to being mediocre.
I ordered flowers 3 days in advance to assure on time arrival. The shop did not attempt delivery until the day after the date requested. As far as the quality, the bouquet delivered was not that of a superior nature as the price that I paid.
When speaking with the shop directly, the person claiming to be the «one in charge» was very nonchalant or apologetic. His response was only this, «Do you want the flowers delivered, or not:?»
I know better than to send flowers without looking at the reviews before hand in the paticular town I’m sending to. You can always request which florist you want went sending flowers, and I neglected to do that this time. Lesson learned. Please do not allow them to send flowers on your behalf.

My husband ordered me flowers for our anniversary. I was supposed to receive them before 5:00pm the same day my husband ordered the arrangement. No one delivered the flowers and he called that evening to make sure they sent them the next morning. I ended up calling this place 12:00pm after being told I’d receive the flowers this morning! I spoke to a foreign guy who sounded stoned out of his mind and asked what was going on. In response he didn’t have anything positive to say. I cancelled the flowers and asked them to send an email verifying that they are cancelling the order, not charging my husbands card and on top of that apologizing for terrible customer service.
It is now 2 ½ hours from my conversation with the guy working there and still have not received an email.
I will not be ordering flowers here and I’m never referring this terrible place to anyone!

I placed an order through
and asked for florist delivery. I gave them 2 days from the order date to the delivery date, so there was plenty of time. FTD apparently matched me with this company… DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. First issue: They missed the delivery date and failed to make the delivery. Second issue: When I called FTD to report the miss, FTD could not get in touch with them to find out what happened. FTD assured me the flowers would be delivered the next morning… guess what… no delivery again. They finally got to the office as the door was being locked. Nearly 2 days late. Small arrangement — not at all what FTD promised.
I requested a full refund from FTD and cancellation of my FTD account… NEVER AGAIN!!! The worst excuse for a florist I have ever seen.

and the next day I got a call from these guys telling me that the address I gave them didn’t show up on their GPS. Uh… okay. It’s not hard to find. Fkn google it. Woman tells me the address isn’t popping up on their GPS so their driver can’t deliver the flowers.
Is your driver really that stupid?
I got to the party and as I was sitting in the foyer, the deliver man comes and delivers what looked like shriveled up leftovers from 3 days prior.
I paid $ 20 extra for the premium bouquet for a 20^th wedding anniversary party and this is what’s delivered?
Horrible. Just horrible.
I ordered $ 200 worth of flowers and what I got was worse than 3 day old weeds. It would have been better if I had stopped on my way to the house and picked some from the side of the road.
Embarrassing doesn’t begin to describe the pathetic arrangements that arrived. Had I known proflowers was going to use Irvine Florist, I would have gone to Ralphs and picked up some roses instead and delivered them myself.
You guys are fkd and your products are total crap. $ 200 for some of the worst flowers I’ve ever seen. Thanks a lot.

I Ordered flowers for my 10 year anniversary. They did not send what I asked for. They sent the cheapest smallest bouquet they could find. Bummer, I shod have checked reviews first.

I was supposed to be suprised with a cute arrangement for Valentine’s day. It’s the same day every year, right? ²⁄₁₄? Well, this florist, despite advertising that it delivers ALL of Orange County, couldn’t find either my townhouse or my phone number to call despite the order through FTD. I mean I live in a townhouse, it’s impossible to NOT find the numbers since we are attached and the numbers go IN ORDER…
I waited until 8:30pm on valentine’s day for a delivery figuring they were running late. Nothing. No phone call even though they apparently have my cell number. Bf calls FTD the next day and gets India and eventually is disconnected after 30 minutes… I figured, ok, maybe I’ll get them Friday. Nope.
So maybe Satuday? No. Monday? No. Do you see the theme? I guess they figured, «Screw it, we don’t even NEED to deliver these anymore!»
I finally lose it because I really want my flowers, and more important the note, and call FTD Monday. They were apologetic, offered an upgrade and I had them refund the entire shipping charge of $ 19.99 (after they offered to take 20% off, whatever.) I told them just have the florist leave them on the porch which they could have done Valentine’s day. If they were even going to deliver them anyway. Which, obviously they weren’t.
Finally, I get them on Tuesday, February 19 left outside my door. No apologies, no phone call to let me know they are there, just a bouquet on my porch, 5 days late. How are they still in business??? Maybe FTD should just cut ties with this florist to save face.
If you order through a site like FTD, just order the flowers that come via Fedex/​UPS. Forget these local florists. I’m certain Fedex and UPS know how to find you.

I won’t get into a big long story about my ‘flower-​gate’ experience but what a hassle and mess!
Placed order from FTD Luxury collection on ²⁄₁₁; the luminous orchid arrangement ($ 169!!!) This arrangement is described as:
Includes: 6 pale pink Dendrobium Orchids, 6 hot pink Dendrobium orchids, 5 fuchsia Dendrobium Orchids, 5 green Dendrobium Orchids, 4 lavender Dendrobium Orchids, 4 red Dendrobium Orchids, 1 Aspidistra Leaf, and a 10-​inch superior clear glass cylindrical vase. Approximately 22“H x 22“W.
Flowers were sourced and delivered on ²⁄₁₂ at about 4:30 p.m. by Irvine Florist Ltd. off of Von Karman.
Needless to say, the delivery consisted of nothing remotely close to the description or image on the website.
After calls (first time hung up on) and e-​mail to Irvine Florist Ltd with photo of the flowers, Pablo was as helpful as he could be apologizing, explaining the inventory was not available to even get close to order, and that he could let me know next week what the orchid inventory looked like for a remake and redelivery.
Pretty unacceptable — called FTD and funny thing is that when FTD tried to call Irvine Florist to ask them to pick up the flowers and issue me a refund, Irvine Florist doesn’t even answer the phone! 20 minutes of attempts. Comical but NOT! Finally FTD sent them a wire to give them the instructions to pick up and refund. Apparently if they don’t get back within 3 business days FTD will process my refund.
What a flower racket — I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and if FTD had a Unilocal account, I wouldn’t recommend them either. Sad…

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Wish my man would have read some of these true reviews before he ordered my flowers from here! He sent me flowers for my birthday to arrive 1÷10÷13 and they were delivered today 1÷11÷13, no apology, no discount, no nothing! How can you continue to run a business like this — if you want your special person to have flowers ON their special day order somewhere else!

This place is ridiculous. The arrangement I received was nice, but their conduct was unbecoming of any professional business. First of all, the flowers were supposed to be delivered before 1pm on a specific day, but they were not delivered until 3:30 THE NEXT DAY. When I called to inquire about what the problem was, they spouted out the most ridiculous excuses. All of these excuses contradicted the things they had previously told me. One was «Someone must have stolen it because we did deliver it on the correct delivery date», while another one was, «He probably just couldn’t get through the gate at the complex». I was at my place the whole day when it was supposed to be delivered and no one came. Furthermore, the delivery guy was the most unprofessional and disgusting person I have ever met. Not only did he inject himself into my personal life and offend me with every word that escaped his mouth, he told me that he couldn’t find my apartment because the building only had apartment numbers that were 9 and higher. What? Are you stoned? What building numbers begin with 9? None.
I will NEVER order flowers from this place again. The inconveniences and unprofessional conduct from these people are definitely not worth the hassle. Find a better place. Trust me.

If you don’t care whether or not you get what you paid for then this is your place. I ordered and paid $ 40.00 plus $ 15.99 delivery charge for was white daisies red roses and pink carnations… twice…What I got was of lesser quality than you would get for 10 bucks at the grocery store and completely different flower types and colors. The bottom line, they do not care because once you’ve paid they will just throw together some garbage and assume your intended recipient won’t know any better. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

I won’t even give 1 star! It’s the worst!!! Flowers look worse than if you bought them in the store & put them in a vase. It’s so ridiculous, the leaves are unhealthy & half dot growth on the bottom, browning, crumpled leaves & stem; the rose are dry. It looks really crappy. I found a dead bug on it too. I sent them an email letting them know & included a picture.

After I picked it up. lady said, «Oh the photos can be deceiving»
Did floral whore really say that? Well what about a photo comparison so the customers won’t be misinformed? OR FIX YOUR DAMN PHOTOS SO THEY WON’T BE MISLEADING.

THIS IS THE WORST FLORIST EVER!!! seriously, dont bother even considering this place, you will just get disappointed. Tottally screwed up Valentines for my wife. They are all a bunch of confused and lying people that work there. Had to call twice just to confirm my order. Promised me a guaranteed delivery on Valentines and when I called to complain, they gave me this BS that their driver went there and the recipient was not around. MY WIFE DOES NOT EVEN LEAVE FOR A LUNCH BREAK!!!
This is a warning to ALL. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY. Liars, poor quality, and doesn’t honor their delivery commitments. This company has 4 BBB complaints.
My husband ordered flowers for me on Valentine’s Day and the poor guy called me 5 times to say «hi, anything new???» Finally, at 4:45 PM, his call was «omg did you get the freaking flowers???»
Thanks Irvine Florist for ruining my husband’s romantic and well planned gesture. He even called twice to confirm they would arrive and they said it would.
When he called to ask for a refund, they lied and said «she wasn’t home». This is nonsense, as I work in a corporate building and receptionists are present 7am — 6pm. This must be what they always try to use as an excuse «she wasn’t home.»
My poor honey — he was so excited all day for my call on Valentine’s Day to say «I GOT SOME FLOWERS!!!»
I also used them once before for one of my employee’s birthdays. The arrangement was $ 150 and was tiny, with old wilted roses.

If I could review it at ZERO I would! My husband tried to surprise me with flowers at my work yesterday, they never showed up. He ordered them through
and The Irvine Florist Ltd was the nearest one. Irvine Florist called me instead of my husband and said that «the recipient was not at home to accept the arrangement». I was so confused, what flowers, what home and what recipient? Then I figured my husband was trying to surprise me. The deliverer went to the wrong side of our bldg (not sure why he wouldn’t try the side with ALL the cars parked in front), so they said they would try to deliver the following day.
My husband got really upset, one that they didn’t go to the right place, secondly that they ruined his surprise. We brushed it off and my anger subdued and I became very excited for the following day.
The flowers get to my work and my jaw drops! The bunch not bouquet, bunch of flowers were pathetic! There were 5 lilies in the arrangement were all closed, with a few ugly purple filling and put in a tiny vase… NOTHING like the picture on the website! There wasn’t even enough filling to hold the lilies up, they were just hanging over the side. I was so upset that this florist not only messed up the day prior but now wanted to rip off my husband! I called FTD and complained. They were very quick to try and fix the issue and offered to have the original flowers picked and redelivered asap. They couldn’t guarantee a delivery today but at the latest tomorrow. It’s so sad! After taxes and shipping fees, my husband paid a little over $ 70.
It’s so sad that some people order flowers for their loved ones and assume they are getting the beautiful arrangement they see online and have no idea that their recipient is getting a pathetic arrangement.

If I could give this place 0 stars… I would. This florist is absolutely horrible. I have never written a Unilocal review before but this place has made me so upset that a review is absolutely necessary.
I received flowers from here for Valentine’s Day. They came early that morning but by the second day… half of the arrangement was dead. I called and requested a replacement be brought to my office the next day. Well, by 3:00 and no new flowers I decided to call. I got this guy on the phone that put me on hold for about 5 minutes and then said that they would deliver them the next morning. I asked what had happened and he wouldn’t answer my question… all he said is that they were «looking into it.» Anyway, he then brushed me off and got off the phone.
I thought about it and started to get really upset so I called and asked for the manager. Same guy answered the phone and before he got her he came back on and immediately said that a driver would be on their way to my office. I informed him that I still wanted to speak to the manager.
Beatrice came on the phone and informed me that Valentines Day was especially busy for them and that the shipment for flowers the day after came in at 10:00 and they were running behind. I asked why I had not received a phone call at least letting me know and again, no response. Again, no apology. She did end up sending a runner and a new arrangement was brought… this time with only 3 red roses and then an extra 6 long stem on the side as a consolation or something?
The person that sent me the flowers informed me that my roses should have been a dozen with another dozen small flowers. The first arrangement I did receive had 6 roses with 4 small ones and then died. The second one that came had only 3 in the vase and 6 on the side. Still no 12. I called and spoke to Beatrice again who informed me that he was wrong and ordered the wrong thing. Really, then how come when you did the replacement the two arrangements were completely different.
This florist is probably the worst florist I have ever dealt with. Beatrice will argue with you and offers no apologies. You won’t get what you ordered and what they do bring you will die within a day. Seriously, DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST… it will be a huge disappointment.

Well, I saw the flowers and they sucked. There was mostly green stuff and 4 Gerbera Daisies. As a matter of fact, the delivery guy left his clipboard on our counter when he asked to use bathroom. My employee read a note attached to it with our address and it said, make similar bouquet but use less flowers. WTF is that? Total fail!!!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE VALENTINE’S EXPERIENCE! My boss spent over $ 400 with them.
1– Flowers were not ready when promised had to wait an hour & half
2– Given completely WRONG bouquets, gave me $ 10.95 instead of the $ 89.95 we paid for
3– Had to go back to pick up right bouquets
4– Again flowers were not ready had to wait another 45 minutes!
5– Then they had the gall to tell me they wanted to cheap flowers back, (for what re-​sale)
6– Boss had to get on the phone with them twice to get it worked out
I would be scared if you actually had them delivery the flowers to your honey!
BEWARE!!!

I have used Irvine Florist for the past three years and they have always exceeded my expectations.
