Wonderful color specialist, hair dresser, and above all else person. Cares more about her job than almost anyone I have ever met. Not only does she have passion but also tons of skill. I would go back to her for most definitely again and trust her opinion on hair before anyone else’s. Very affordable as well. I am beyond thrilled with my new hair!

Girls, and guys too, this woman is just the best. My color is perfect. Perfect, perfect, every single time. I sought out a colorist when my colorist just couldn’t do what I wanted. My hair was so horrible. I have always had amazing hair and it had just gotten so ruined from the last person I was going to! I felt ugly and very, very sad. My first call to Kathleen turned into an hour phone session. My god, the woman didn’t even know me! She asked everything about what had been done to my poor hair and what I had been doing to ‘fix’ it. She recommended a few things until I could get to her. She was smart, informed and right on the money. When I got to Kathleen, she gave me back my gorgeous, healthy hair. It didn’t happen at once because of the heck-​a-​wreck mess that was going on, but by the second session I cried because it was me again! I’ve never looked back. Now she does all my cutting too. It is rare to find the one person who ‘gets’ my hair. And an added bonus is that Kathleen is funny, kind, really, really cool and such a great person to interact with. I love her. Everyone else who has rated her is right. Kathleen is current with her knowledge and techniques. It’s very impressive. I feel like happy, pretty me ALWAYS now! Thank you, thank you Kathleen!

When I came to 2-​weeks ago, Kathleen my hair was a disaster! After months of traveling, I came to her with dried out and split ends, an itchy scalp and in need of roots assistance! In a couple hours I was transformed into a healthy, shiny haired goddess, armed with tricks of the trade to maintain the new level of health I was experiencing! Not only was she able to turn around 6-​months of neglect in these hours, but two weeks later my hair is still looking the same as when I walked out of her salon — thanks to her tricks and tips!
Kathleen is extremely passionate about her work, and it shows by the way she treats her clients and their hair. She is a color specialist, and I have trusted her to take my hair from auburn to blonde to purple and back to natural brunette. I drive from Venice Beach to Anaheim to have the opportunity to be treated by her talented hands. In my opinion, she is too reasonably priced for her services!

Kathleen is not only a hairstylist, she is truly a person who is in love with her profession. It is never an awkward visit when you get your hair done with Kathleen. She always takes her time and does things right. Most importantly, she will never try to sell you extra products that you don’t need. I enjoy my visits with Kathleen. She is so full of energy and having a conversation with Kathleen is like having a conversation with a family member. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to get the job done right. I have only trusted her to highlight my hair because I don’t think anyone else would be honest about what goes right with my skin color… Anyone else would just take my money.

Kathleen! She made my dream come true without even damaging my hair one bit! Firstly I want to say how thankful I am to have met her and had the pleasure of having her color my hair. I wanted it this way since sixth grade and she made it happen! So thankful!
Run down:
First she let me know what she was going to do and how. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood the process and the length of time. Most salons simply do the work without even telling you what they are going to do.
Step by step she kept telling me what she was doing, why and what I can do to help my hair be healthy.
Throught out the time with her there was never a dull moment. She is extremely friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond what she needed to do.
Once she was done she let me know the best products to use to maximize the amount of time of the color in my hair. And took the time to educate me about it.
In the end she not only took my dull brown hair and turned it into a feisty red hair WITHOUT BLEACH
BUT she also taught me some well needed life lessons.
Compared to other salons Kathleen will not only save you your hard earned cash $$ but she’ll help you keep the color as long as possible while keeping it looking as fresh as the first time she applied it on you.
Thanks to Kathleen I have a new outlook on life and I’m planning to take my life by the horns and enjoy my youth. Thank you Kathleen! I’ll see you very soon. :))

Kathleen is simply wonderful! She has been coloring my hair for over a year now and I routinely get compliments on my hair color, even from other stylists! I won’t let anyone else color or cut my very curly, easily damaged hair.
One of the things I like best about Kathleen is that she pays attention to trends and constantly educates herself about new products and techniques. And that is the only way a stylist can on top of their craft! She will also teach you what types of products to use and how to use them to keep your hair looking its best. I also have very sensitive and reactive skin and she’s been great about trying different products until we found a color line that I could tolerate.
I too prefer to see her in her home studio so I can have her individual attention. She’s also a very positive, encouraging person so I enjoy the time I spend with her. I recommend her highly!

I ABSOLUTELY love Kathleen.
She does a wonderful job coloring hair, she even brought my hair back to life when it was dry, damaged and brittle.
She educated me on hair, showed me the proper products I can use to help maintain a healthy set of hair so it wont nearly go back to how it was before I met her. Now I can happily say my hair has never been so healthy, soft, and looks great! Especailly after dying it so many times.
Kathleen is very dedicated into her work, promising everyone to look /​feel their best.
She makes me feel comfortable in her studio and confident in how I look.
Never using cheap hair dyes like regular salons only ripping you off and damaging your hair more. I know for a fact, after having Kathleen dye my hair from a dark brown to a multi color blonde, without frying my hair, I’m not going to see anyone else.
I strongly recommend everyone to go visit Kathleen and have their hair played around with simply because Kathleen gives her 110% to everyone who walks in there, educates you, helps give you the right tools to hair products so we all can look great, she is very funny, generous, and loves to make people feel special the minute they walk in. :)

I have been getting my hair cut, colored and styled by Kathleen for many years now. Kathleen is a professional and knows her stuff! Her specialty is coloring and I’ve always been thrilled with the end results. She is very flexible in her scheduling and her prices are affordable. I always receive tons of compliments on my hair from my family and friends. The most important thing I must mention is the number of people that ask me where I got my hair done and if they could have Kathleen’s number!

Kathleen is the best hair stylist I have ever gone to. I would highly suggest anyone to her. She did a lot of work with my hair and was extremely friend, really gave individual attention that was needed. She also gives you information that normal hair dressers wouldn’t care to spend time instructing you about. She is also a really great person to talk to!

Kathleen has been cutting my hair for years, and even though I’ve moved to long beach it’s still worth the drive to see her. Kathleen knows hair, she lives hair and my hair has never looked better. I’ve even learned more about hair than I ever thought possible. I’ve never had a haircut I didn’t like from kathleen and the haircuts usually get me compliments!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Kathleen for years. And years. And years. :) I love her that much. She does a fantastic job every single time. She is definitely a «Color Specialist» and does consistently fantastic color. I have had a rainbow of hair colors (started off red, then blond, then brown, and now back to a weave) and whatever I can cook up, Kathleen can make look fantastic.
She’s also realistic. I wanted to go from blond to dark brown. She knows me after all these years and suggested a gradual progression. I’m SO glad she did… I hated the darker color and it was much easier to go back to light.
All in all… I can’t say enough!
