Last summer I sold my house in Silicon Valley and moved to OC. As part of that process, Mark Panattoni at Mark of Perfection Realty helped me figure out what kind of house I wanted to buy, and then patiently showed me properties until I found just the right one. He got me through escrow on schedule, and I was out of my temporary place and into my new home faster than I ever though possible.
I took up residence just in time for a record heat wave to hit SoCal! Needless to say, the air conditioner in my new house stopped working after about two weeks…
To make a long story short, even though Mark had helped protect me from possible unforeseen problems with my new digs by insisting that the Seller pay for a one-​year home warranty, his crystal ball didn’t foresee that over-​the-​top heatwave. Normal air conditioner repair services were averaging two day response times, and the few companies on the homeowner’s insurance company’s list were promising that they’d respond to new customers within TWO WEEKS!!!
I wasn’t willing to wait that long, so I paid out of pocket and called an AC repair service I found on Unilocal.I then called and told Mark what had happened, and he took it upon himself to reach out to his contacts at the insurance company and got them to reimburse me for the cost of my AC repair — talk about amazing customer service!!!
