Always encounter rude staffs here. The lines are always long, once I complain and the female staff said «but price is good,(getting a deal) right?» What does that have to do with waiting so long for slow cahiers to do their job. Lazy cashiers except for one Chinese lady who does most of the rigning up. Absolutely the worst Marshalls inthis area and unfortunately, the closest one to where I live. I’m a frequent shopper at both TJMaxx and Marshalls, approximately 5 – 7 times a weeks. yeah, a shopaholic here.

0 stars! Absolutely the worst possible service ever. So here’s how it goes, purchased 2 scarves at another marshall’s, when I got them home, realized one was too short in length. Went to return it to this marshall’s (it’s by my office, convenient, right??) and they would NOT accept the return, said «the name brand of scarf didn’t match the ticket». Huh? Really? Why is that MY problem??? Asked to speak to the manager and, yeah, she suggested I take it back to the Marshall’s location where I purchased it. Have you ever heard of such an amateur approach to service? Best part — it was like $ 10 — it would cost more in gas so I just decided to share this poor excuse for service with you all… buyer beware.

Their cashier service is super slow. Be prepared that you will spend 15 – 20 minutes in the line to the cashiers. I always give up and end up with not buying. They should fix this problem.

I ALWAYS go to this Marshalls bcuz I literally live down the street. I LOVED this Marshalls until today when I had an encounter with the RUDEST manager. I never write reviews but she irked me to the core. I was returning a dress I purchased literally 5 days ago because, well, it didn’t fit. Mind you the dress was in impeccable condition upon return, with tags and everyrhing. So she inspects the dress and she couldn’t zip it up. She asks another guy employee to zip it up and he tried his hardest (muscle and all) but couldnt get it tp budge so now we’re playing «how many Marshalls employees does it take to zip up a dress.» She then turns to me and says «you wanna try it?» and I’m like «try what? Zipping it? FINE». At this point she hands me the dress and gives the spiel «oh well we’ll take it this time but I’m gonna have to damage that out cuz the zipper is broken BLAH BLAH BLAH.» Meanwhile here I am, the only one in this conversation that has a brain ZIPS UP THE GODDAMN DRESS IN ONE TRY. Good God help me, Jesus take the wheel. This lady has the audacity to accuse me of destroying a f*cking dress when I zip it up to her face. Needless to say I’m going to be calling corporate and file a complaint. Outrageous. THE NERVE. ROCIO R. I HOPE YOU READ THIS AND WEEP. You are THE WORST MANAGER and deserve nothing but termination. KISS MY ASS.

Today was the worst experience I have ever had in Marshalls, this is the reason why I put just one star today. My daughter and I were shopping and the sale associate, her name is Nicole, was very unprofessional and she wasted our time with very inappropriate attitude. I called the manager and she took care of the situation and resolved it, thanks Renee, but please make sure that this lady (Nicole) be more professional with customers as you have promised me. She refused to service us as a cashier and called another cashier (who was very kind) instead of herself. She ran away from her problem and didnt apologize.

I’m kind of surprised by all the negative feedback regarding them employees here. I’m giving them 5 stars based on the employees. I recently lost my iPhone 6 here. I was frantic. When I got back to work I went onto find my iPhone and saw that it was at Marshalls. I called and they stayed on the phone with me while I set off the alarm signal. They couldn’t hear it up front, so they walked down every isle listening for it and they found it. I was so grateful. They didn’t have to do that. They could have just said they didn’t hear it and hung up. My experience there deserves 10 stars.

I accompanied my female friend here but I ended up doing all the shopping even though I am fashion-​unconscious.
They have a lot of clothes and other items here like toys and wallets and exercise items. They have a lot of clearance clothing too. The changing rooms are very spacious.
The procedure for the checkout here is that an automated announcer will tell you which checkout counter is ready. They asked if I wanted to apply for a credit card while here. Other than that, it went quickly since there were no other people in line.

This store is absolutely fabulous… their shoe collection is just great!

If you want to pay more than any other marshalls, come to this one! I bought a mug at the marshalls in La Mirada for $ 4.99.
I came back to this marshalls to return it and a couple other items because when I saw it under closer light, there was a crack in it. They said they cannot make same day returns but I would have no problem getting the mug the next day even though at this location it was priced at $ 5.99.
So I came the next day and when I explained to the girl she gave me a look and went to her fellow coworker and said who-​knows-​what. And they both came over to me and the coworker spoke to me slowly as if I was stupid or unable to understand regular English (maybe she’s racist or something), and said I can’t return the mug because it wasn’t on my receipt. Lol wtf. I said «well I literally bought this yesterday and it’s on the receipt and pointed to where it was on the receipt. I don’t get why I can’t exchange it it’s CLEARLY the same exact one as the one you have in stores.»
The original girl was like «OHHH! I thought you wanted to return both!» Clearly not what I said.
Then she charged me for the higher price which I find ridiculous. It’s supposed to be the same marshalls (CLEARLY NOT ugh.) but when I asked about it she acted annoyed and spoke to me in her belittling tone. I don’t care about the extra dollar, but I do care about being treated with decency and reason when I am spending my money there.
If you want «great prices» marked up, cashiers who don’t listen to your requests, rude, disrespectful, terrible customer service, head on over Irvine marshalls.

This location is just, meh. I will come in here as my last resort location. Customer service here sucks, the young girls at the register here have terrible attitudes.

This place has a home goods which I absolutely am a fan of. They have a wide collection of cute items. There are some hidden gems in their homegoods section as I’ve found really cute things for my house (elephant statues, brand name candles, and so much more). It’s only a bummer when that item is broken so the employees in that area really need to do a thorough check or if it doesn’t have a price tag either. They also have some cute holiday items that don’t look cheesy or cheap. Don’t know much about their apparel.
Now…
Employees also need an attitude adjustment here. I’ve never once had a pleasant check out experience here. hence why I choose not to shop here as often as I would.

For those people who like to shop in peace without being nearly run over by random staff stocking shelves and pretending to be busy, while asking every 5 minutes if you are looking for something even though you already said «I’m fine» — This place is not for you. And the sad part is the line every time I’ve been is super long, meaning they could be having more people up front helping instead of rummaging around the back areas taking up space where customers could be actually shopping and giving them more money.
I love most Marshalls and TJ Maxx stores (same company) but will never return to this one.

I wasn’t expecting a luxury experience, but wasn’t expecting to be treated like a thief either.

I love Marshalls. I shop there often for many products and will continue to do so. Inventory is great, but this particular store, like previous reviews noted, has bad customer service. I’ve had a few unpleasant staff, but I don’t normally write a bad review based on just one encounter.
maybe it’s not that big of a deal, but most other Marshalls stores are better than this one, and I think they better represent the brand.
Quick story– I came in to return a pair of headphones because the right earphone was very low. they didn’t work correctly. When the associate asked why I was returning, I explained, and she looked at the receipt to see the date I purchased them (14 days ago, when the policy is a 30-​day return; I was well within the timeline). She said, «You know, you have to come in early when something like this doesn’t work. You have to come in right away to return it, not wait until later.»
I thought, What? No one from any store has ever said that, especially when its a cheap item that doesn’t work (I hadn’t used the headphones, just tested them out), and especially when I’m adhering to the return policy.
There are a million reasons why a customer doesn’t return something right away, be it work schedule, not living close to the store, or, in my case, I wait until I have other errands to run in that area since it saves time and gas money. But whatever the reason, what does it matter? The product is defective, I had 30 days to return it, and did so before the 30 days. Why the lecture?
Since I’ve seen this happen to other customers at this Marshalls, I have to assume it is at the direction of the store manager to hassle customers. He/​She probably puts a lot of pressure on the associates, and it transmits to the customers. After all, I can’t imagine the associate had any personal opinion about the return situation.

They have good stuff but wow the staff is rude. There’s a guy named Jesse who complained when I was called to his register saying «I have a lot to do but I’ll take you…». I will still come back because I like the stuff but that’s kind of terrible customer service

Best Marshalls location ever! It’s clean, organized, great selection and great prices.
I bought three dresses, a waist cincher, silver frame and a decorative black bird all for this was a little over $ 100.

Even though this place has a fairly small selection of things that are my size, they have a good quality of selection!
I was able to find things easily by the clearly marked aisles — help is plentiful here.
Will come again, but hopefully there will be more stuff for me!

Good store with good variety of clothes! I guess all Marshalls are generally the same but there was a staff named Gloria who really helped me pick out last minute outfits and I was super grateful!
Also, I noticed that there are many 50+ year old women working in store and I find them extra friendly and helpful!

I’m a shopaholic, I love great deals for name brand items. I love home décor, shoes and clothes and this is a one stop shop!
They have a big shoe area and it is pretty organized. All their shoes are in boxes and I’m never going crazy looking for a missing pair.
A ton of variety of clothes, from name brand clothing to little no namer brands. Workout, casual, office, dressy you name it. Just have the patience to look around and you will either find something or you can head over to the home goods area and grab some towels, bedding, picture frames, décor and so much more. Makes for great thoughtful gifts. My favorite gift items are coffee mugs. Because who doesn’t love a cute mug?
I can spend hours in here. It does get a bit frustrating sometimes when they change things around in the store and when they are between seasons. For example right now they have a ton of sweaters out and it is still so freaking hot!

3.5 stars because I «never pay full price.» Minus a thousand billion stars for the store’s dirty restroom and 9 times out of 10 rude customer service. (Note to Marshalls in Irvine: Clean up your restroom and attitude!)
Call me weird but I never buy clothes when I shop at this Marshalls. Yesterday’s shopping trip was no different; I left the store with dental treats for my dog and a jar of Salsa Piquant.
On a related note Marshalls has an awesome gourmet food section. My husband was incredulous the first time I brought home a bag of kettle corn which I informed him was from Marshalls.
Vast selection of quality clothing, shoes, accessories, cookware, dishware and home goods. Moderately organized. Reasonable prices. Hit-​or-​miss friendly and attentive customer service. Returns or Exchanges is relatively painless. Store cleanliness could use some improvement.
