Maximum Pools

Two years ago, the pool at my home was resurfaced by Maximum Pools. This included tile replacement and the silicone trim. Everything else still looks great, but this is what my tile line looks like after 2 years. I understand that the warranty on tile for pretty much anything is one year, and I would pay for a repair, but it is really hard to contact people at this company. After trying to call several days in a row with no answer, I finally was able to speak with a representative. We made an appointment, but they never showed up. I called back, wondering if anyone was going to come over, but no one answered. I left a voicemail offering to reschedule.

I have been dealing with contractors nearly all my life and I have never met one who was as true to their word until I met Kathleen and Ted. I interviewed 6 different companies getting quotes to re-​tile, resurface my Pool and Spa. Kathleen and Ted not only were on time for every meeting we had but also knowledgeable, honest and did exactly what they said their company would do. Once we agreed on a price, which by the way was more reasonable then any other company I interviewed, Ted and Kathleen gave me a work schedule. It never deviated from what they agreed to do and when it would be done. Their workers were on time, polite and most important they were very neat and clean. Ted and Kathleen were there every step of the way.
In today‘s world it is difficult to find people who not only do what they say they will do but also are pleasant to work with. They gave me great suggestions and ideas and I will use them soon to replace and upgrade my Pool equipment. Rest assure, if your looking to re-​plaster your Pool and Spa or upgrade your Pool equipment, give this company a call, you will not be disappointed.

I’m very happy with how our jacuzzi turned out. The project actually took longer to complete than I expected originally but I believe the end results were worth the wait. I had several companies come out and give me an estimate, Maximum Pools was not the cheapest but I truly believe they were the best. The plan is to stay in my house at least 10 years maybe 15. I did not want to have to redo the spa again so we chose a company that would do it right. The young lady that answers the phone and does the scheduling is awesome, the owner of the company I truly believe knows his stuff and the guys that showed up in work to my backyard were a pleasure to deal with. I will post some pictures so that you can see what they actually did, for the record I highly recommend this company.

Had them come out to give a quote for a pool refinish. Representative was rude and condescending the whole time, and got irritated when I asked questions about warranty on finishes, and startup procedure. Even though I had called them specifically about a pebble finish, he told me «I didn’t want that» and kept pushing a more expensive product. Apparently, they don’t want you to ask any questions about anything at all. The estimator eventually said, «I think I’m just gonna go now», and walked out without giving me an estimate. Total waste of time.
UPDATE:
Within an hour of writing this Unilocal review, the owner called me and threatened to sue me if I didn’t remove the review. How crazy is that? Based on my experience, I will not do business nor recommend Maximum Pool Plastering.

Maximum Pools just refurbished our pool and spa (which was previously ruined by another pool construction company based in Orange County, CA). They also changed out various old pool equipment and installed the Pentair wireless «Easy Touch» remote control system. Maximum Pools was thorough, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They did what they said they would do, showed up on time, kept the job site clean, and performed the work diligently with qualified workers and high quality materials. They stayed with the job until it was 100% completed to our satisfaction… unlike our last pool construction company who «ran away» when post-​construction problems arose… leaving us very disappointed, and having wasted our money. But, with Maximum Pools we were left with a very favorable impression, feel we can count on them if we ever need them, and now have an awesome pool we can be proud of for many years to come. We loved working with Ted & Kathleen (owners) and Jeremy (Job Foreman/Manager)…all honest, hard-​working people who care about their customers and the reputation of Maximum Pools.
