MYFAVPLACE! I always get the fried fish. I brought my friends here last night and they all loved it

I first heard about this truck during Munchathon but didn’t have a chance to try them until now… I found them at SoCO Farmer’s Market and decided to try the herb roasted turkey with the pesto sauce. This is a great sandwich and comes with potato chips. The turkey was juicy and perfectly seasoned and the bread was buttery and crisp. I loved the added flavor from the pesto and cheese. I split this with my food soulmate and we inhaled our sandwiches in about 2 – 3 bits. This truck does an amazing job with their panini sandwiches. I was very impressed.

First off, what a bummer. This was my first food truck experience and it was not a good one. I should have been a bit smarter in my decision making process but one key word caught my eye: brie… so I gave them my 6.75, leaving them the 25 cents. hmmm wonder why they do that? ;) Smart. &Waited, hoping for an amazing panini. I should have just bounced. It would have been better just wasting that 7 dollars instead of taking a bite of my sandwich and laughing. Nut shell: It was like eating jam and bread. The ham was a bit greasy, the brie?.. hmm almost nonexistent. oh and the ½ inch sliver that I did get… was the rind.(white mold if ya want to be specific) wooohoooo and those apple slices? .didn’t need to be there. I felt robbed, my heart sank… I almost said«F it» for every trying a food truck again but then I had a bite of burger monsters’ carnivore burger and my faith renewed itself. So that being said, I hope they go buy some more cheese with my 7 bucks and hook the next person up for cheese sake. Ps. I wish I would have saw Erin’s post before I had the same experience as her. baahumbug

I had the hawaiian fries or whatever they are called. They are sweet potatoe fries with marinated steak, camelized onions and an amazing Aioli on top. They were HEAVENLY! I didnt try a Panini but other people I was with did and said they were Delicious! Highly recommend trying this truck!

I can’t believe I just spent $ 7 on the worst panini I’ve ever had. Yes. WORST. This might be harsh, but the previous Unilocal reviews seriously misled me. I decided to order a ham & brie panini which is advertised as: ham, melted brie, fuji apple slices, and apricot marmalade. (my photos of the sandwich I received from Panfiniti have been removed by Unilocal at the request of Panfiniti) This is what I received: soggy bread, a slice of flavorless ham, one single fuji apple SLICE cut into 3 small pieces, apricot stickiness, and a few very thin slices of brie — but it’s hard for me to even admit those were slices. Aren’t paninis supposed to be toasted? I received a soggy seemingly-incomplete mess. Despite how hungry I was on my lunch break, I threw 99% of the sandwich away. Two bites were all it took to turn my tastebuds against this sorry excuse for a panini. Don’t take my word for it, you can go ahead and decide for yourself if this is really something you feel like spending $ 7 on(my photos of the sandwich I received from Panfiniti have been removed by Unilocal at the request of Panfiniti)

Kudos to Panfiniti for being nearly the only truck at this stop to accept credit cards. That didn’t determine what we had for dinner, but it did narrow our choices a lot. The veggie panini is pretty good here. I’d have liked it a bit warmer, though. I’m sure they were trying not to overheat the fresh tomatoes, but I’d have turned the heat up a bit. The cheese on the sandwich was only slightly melted. But that was really my only complaint – the sandwich itself was good, with tomatoes, spinach, caramelized onions, and cheese. It came with chips, which tasted unusually fresh. I don’t think they’re serving Ruffles here(or if they are, they’ve got the best Ruffles I’ve ever had).

Okay, I’ll admit it. I thought the panini truck concept was a little too close to what you can already get at a number of other trucks already. But last night at the OC Fairgrounds, I decided to give them a shot. The Ham & Brie Panini is really, REALLYGOOD. Slices of ham(not the deli-sliced kind; like real Thanksgiving HAM) layered with brie, apple slices, and an apricot marmalade for an added touch of sweetness. Three other people tried this panini and declared it delicious. If their other offerings are as good as this panini, I’m definitely a fan!

Meatball Panini has homemade meatballs, marinara, and mozzarella cheese. This is a great homage to the meatball sub. The meatballs are like«mama used to make». The mozzarella is melted to an ooey gooey consistency. The marinara ties it all together. The bread is grilled to perfection with a crunchy outside and spongy inside to soak up all of the juices. The paninis come with a huge portion of potato chips too. Thumbs up! Ham and Brie Panini contains ham, brie, Fuji apple slices, and apricot marmalade. The flavor combination is outrageous! The apple and brie are a perfect match on their own. The apricot and ham also goes really well together. Putting them all together creates a symphony of flavors in every bite. This is a perfect example showing off Panfiniti’s well-groomed palate. Thumbs up, way up!

First off, I have to say the girls that run this truck are super nice. Really friendly and totally customer service oriented. We had two Paninis. the meatball and Hawaiian Steak. Both were tasty and came with chips. The Husband was hoping to see more of the sandwich description in his steak sandwich but thought it was decent. Kids loved the meatball one. Only bummer was our sweet potato fries were a little overcooked and pretty crunchy. But overall this truck is def worth another shot.

Had my first bite of panfiniti last week and it was delicious! I bought the herbed turkey panini. The bread was perfectly toasted(or is it grilled? or is it pressed? I don’t really care what the word is because it was yummy). The panini’s insides were high quality – the turkey, pesto, and greens were all so good that I forgot that it is unhealthy to eat food too quickly and ate it all too fast. Not only was the food great, but also the service was wonderful. It’s always nice to strike up a conversation with those making your food, even if it amounts to small talk. They seemed enthusiastic about their food and grateful for our patronage. I will definitely seek them out the next time they’re in town. If you like paninis and don’t mind spending 6 – 10 bucks on a sandwich, I highly recommend it. It’s definitely filling, made with great ingredients(unless they tricked me) and served by enthused people(unless they tricked me again).

Sorry to do this Panfiniti, but I gotta say that this place is A-okay. I was really excited to try this place due to the good reviews. Since this truck happened to be sitting outside of my office, I said what the hell let’s give it a shot. Ordered the hawaiin steak sammich. My first thoughts were, fuck I just paid 8.50 for a panini. Devoured the sandwhich cause my stomach was growling. It was my first time trying a Hawaiin Steak sandwhich and it wasn’t over the top or something that left me wanting more. I just felt that for the size of the sammich, I could’ve gotten more with my money. Well to end this review, the sandwhich was good but way too pricey. 8.50 is a lot to ask for just a sandwhich. Maybe if it included some sides or a drink then it’d be worth it. But since it didn’t, I wouldn’t come back. Sorry, but I think this place is overHYPED!

Panfiniti makes a panini that is actually a panini not a sandwich that has been buttered and smashed between two hot grill plates. The steak in my panini? DAMN tasty. And tender. And… delicious. The folks in the truck were really appreciative of my business. How cool is that? I found them at the food truck round up near the District in Irvine on Fridays. Check it out.

I stopped by Panfiniti when they rolled through OC DinDin A Go-Go on 7⁄20. I had been craving a panini forever and was looking for something a little more refined than the greasy food being sold elsewhere. Everyone working there was so nice and I felt like my business really was appreciated as I ordered the Ham & Cheese Panini. Let me start with the bread. It was perfection. Perfectly crunchy around the crust but soft enough in the middle to not be too crunchy. With generously portioned ham and brie and fresh apples, this is the definition of a gourmet food truck at it’s finest. The only thing I could have done without was there was a little too much of that too-sweet sauce paired with the apples in the sandwich, so it was hard to savor the ham. I’ll definitely be back the next time to check out more goodies from this delicious truck!

Panfiniti has swung by a number of times during the food truck roundups, but I’m sad, almost embarrassed, to say that I have passed it up for something greasy, oily, or fried. So I apologize, Panfiniti, because I should have given you a try a while ago… shame on me for not knowing how good your food is. I was briefly looking up food truck tweets when Panfiniti’s «Spicy Soft Shell Crab Ciabata» caught my eye. I was going to head to the food truck roundup anyway, so I thought I might as well consider getting something from Panfiniti. I need to point out that the people who work at Panfiniti are SO kind. They are extremely patient and they made absolutely damn sure that they wrote down my order correctly. After a couple of minutes, the ciabata was in my hands. The first bite was only fried panko, but the bites after that were delicious. The soft shell crab was so moist and meaty and the sauce was savory and not too spicy. Delicious! I NEED to eat again from this truck, sooner or later. If you haven’t tried Panfiniti yet, then you’re overdo to take a bite out one of their creations. Prices are reasonable and their menu items are innovative and downright wonderful.

I recently had the Hawaiian Steak Flatbread at Munchathon. That hawaiian steak is so damn good it’s comical. Big chunks of meat marinated in some sweet/savory marinad and cooked perfectly served and that crispy yet still chewy flat bread just made for the perfect meal. I’ve got to go back and try their panini’s cause those things looked ridiculous! If you haven’t tried them yet and see them cruising around OC, stop what you’re doing and go get some. You won’t regret it!

Los Al Din A Go Go…6/28/11. Tried their Hawaiian skirt steak panini with brie(instead of the provolone) and it was pretty good! A bit greasey… but the steak was good, combined with the caramelized onions and yummy brie cheese. They did charge me an extra $.25 for brie instead of the normal provolone cheese though. :)

My sister wanted me to order her something to go today. I was at the OC fairgrounds and wanted to bring back something different. I saw this truck and immediately had to order from there. The cool thing about this truck is that after you order they have a microphone telling you your order is ready. Makes it a lot easier to hear than others screaming out your name. I went with the Hawaiian Steak Flatbread. The bread on this was soft which made it more enjoyable. All the toppings on here were good except the sauteed spinach. I think that threw offt he rest of this dish. Besides that I really loved it and it was something different that what these typical taco trucks offer. When I return I’ve gotta try the panini out. Hawaiian Steak Flatbread ingredients. * Sauteed Spinach * Hawaiian Steak * Caramelized Onion * Feta Cheese * Hoisin Aioli

When you work @ an office, and have the same routine day in and day out, you start becoming very excited about really small things. Anything to break up the monotony of the day, right? Lucky for me, when Panfiniti came to our building, it was just what the doctor ordered to make my day that much better. Good food has that effect on me. The Hawaiian Steak Panini Flatbread was excellent! The meat was sweet and the flavors were excellent, nicely balanced with the fairly neutral flavor of the bread. The POG drink(passionfruit, orange, guava) was sweet & fresh(though it could have done w/a little bit of rum, or vodka– it was the perfect mixer ;)!). The whole process was smooth. They were quick, efficient, and even had a nifty microphone system so that you could easily hear when they called your name. My food came out quickly, and the portions were perfect! Solid 5 stars!
