Came here on a date, it was my second time here. He wanted to go sing, so I told him about this place. He was super stoked and excited. My first time here, I was with people that knew how to use the system. So this time, I had to really listen to the instructions. Not super hard, just a lot of buttons to remember and it’s not in English! But we got it moving along, but it was quite disappointing to a white boy when most of his songs weren’t on the list. He sang Elvis several times, lol. I know it’s catered more to the Asians and there’s not much we can do about it. We made the best of it. Oh btw, we had called in and put our names down for 10:30pm, we didn’t get in till after midnight. o. O Nobody wanted to leave and this was on a Thursday night. So it’s a hit and miss. I’m not sure of the pricing b/c I didn’t pay, but I’m sure other Unilocalers would have the info.

This is a pretty good karaōke bar right in diamond jamboree. It’s a little pricy for only 2 hours but they have a pretty good non-Asian song selection and they have relatively new Western music as well. They have alright food, snacks, and drinks. It’s definitely a fun place to go with friends and classmates, and their rooms have awesome lighting and pretty comfortable seats. Their employees are very attentive as well and want to make sure that you’re having a pretty good time. The only really weird thing about this place is the background videos to the songs, which are so awkward and distracting that it’s almost hilarious. You can be singing a really sad song and the background music is dance studio cartoon graphic, or even worse is when you’re singing really happy songs and the background video is a depressing Korean soap opera. Overall, it’s a good place for a good time and it’s better when you go with a big group of around 8 – 10.

Wow, this place is expensive. For a small room, I’m used to paying $ 25/hr for a weekend evening. A small room here is $ 35/hr AND you have to pay a 15% service charge. What is the reason for this charge? If everyone has to pay it, it should just be incorporated into the hourly rate. I mean, maybe if you’re ordering food and drinks, but if you’re just singing? That’s whack. Again, I wish that there was a book with songs listed by artist instead of just title. The search function on the screen is helpful. It was a fun time, but there are cheaper options elsewhere.

KARAOKESYSTEM: The system is not ideal, and may require minimal knowledge of Korean or guesswork. There is a good selection of songs to choose from, though it is not updated with all of the current big hits in America(only some are available). AMBIANCE: This place has a fun, stylish feel, but perhaps is a bit outdated. Perhaps it’s mostly the joy of karaōke and/or the crew(s) I go with, but there’s a lot of energy. SERVICE: The service is average to above average. For the most part, it’s friendly and prompt. PRICE: This place is a bit pricey, but it’s also the best karaōke joint around – from what my friends tell me. They run special deals at different times – depending on the day and/or the time of day – and these deals can definitely make it worthwhile even for the more frugal karaoker! OVERALL: I definitely recommend this place, though expect to fork over a good bit of money and approach the karaōke system with some patience.

Don’t waste you time or money. You will be treated like second class citizens. Lady at the front should be fired. We will be going to Shout in Tustin or another establishment next time.

Wack. Rooms available but they wont give it to you unless you pay a ridiculous fee. We are the only ones waiting, and have been for over an hour. And a half. Lame story given about a broken mic, however it was all of a sudden ok once we said we would pay more. I guess customer service isn’t all that important. Be prepared to wait a long time if u come here. Plenty of other options in the area. Just check Unilocal

Friends and I visited Plush on a Saturday night. They are located in the diamond plaza right next to Toyko Table on the second floor. I called ahead of time to ask if we’d be able to make a reservation. They don’t take reservations but you can be added to the waitlist and they’ll give you an anticipated wait time. I called around 10PM and was told a room for the 6 of us would be ready in about an hour. They send you a text message when your room is ready and you have 10 minutes to claim the room. Keep in mind, parking will likely be difficult to find as there is hardly ever any parking in this plaza. Grab the first one you see even if it’s on the other side of the plaza. In order to get a room you’ll need to give them your ID as a deposit, just try not to forget to get it back from them at the end of the night like I did. We asked for a medium sized room which ended up seating the 6 of us pretty comfortably. I liked that the songs were pretty recent and there was plenty to chose from. We only had a problem with the mic once and when I pointed it out to the staff, they quickly replaced the batteries. I felt that they made an effort to provide quick and friendly customer service despite how busy they were. For two hours the bill totaled to $ 17.50 for each of us which really wasn’t bad. I will definitely keep this place in mind when looking for a local karaōke place in OC.

I feel like I always end up here during late nights in the Irvine area. You want to call in to make a reservation on a busy night like Friday or Saturday. The wait can be long. Once you’re in, you’re going to have a good time. The rates are pretty cheap if you’re not ordering anything else and they have all different kinds of room sizes. It’s a Korean Karaōke lounge and you can order Beer. Unfortunately, you can’t get any other alcohol so you may want to drink more beforehand. The music selection has most songs that you’d be looking for, I had a hard time finding the newest hits, but still there is more than enough to go around. They also have Korean songs if you can read the language and can sing those tunes. I’ve always had fun here, staff is friendly, it’s my local spot to go to for Karaōke.

Karaōke lounge is a typical karaōke place. The songs are mostly catered towards Chinese and Korean speakers since the majority of the songs are in those languages. There are English songs but many of the songs are not up to date with current pop songs. The newer songs in English are songs from about ~2−5 years ago and even then the selection is prettg much limited to songs from the early 2000’s and earlier. I can’t say too much about the Korean and Chinese songs since I don’t listen/sing in those languages but I feel that you will enjoy this place more if you can sing songs in 2 or more languages.

This place defines POOR customer service in every way POSSIBLE. It is sad that this is the only place for karaōke. Their staff could care less for any speck of tip. If a room for two singing people order soup… Wouldn’t you expect two spoons? Their chicken wings were not only heavily salted and over fried, it actually scalded the interior of my mouth. Do they give a damn? NOPE!!!

Stumbled upon this place as I was its strolling around DJ jamboree. I have to say it was a lot of fun for my first time. I find the pricing a bit pricey, but then again I am not familiar with these kinds of lounges. Only thing I was concerned of was if you are not Korean, you kind of can’t really understand the remote controls, but my friends and I managed. I definitely recommend if you and your friends want to try something different :)

Picture this. You go to a bar with your friends but you are tone deaf. You get up to sing Bohemian Rhapsody and you forget it’s a 6 minute song with a bunch of highs and lows. You have to get up in front of a whole bar and you choke. You didn’t know that many people would be there! Plush is completely different! You get to go with your friends in a private room. Feel free to embarrass yourself with just a few of your closest friend who are already aware of your tone deafness and don’t care. Personal service to your rooms immediately via electronic ordering. Yea, they only have beer and wine, but pregame at any of the bars nearby and you’ll be solid with liquid courage to give a private concert to your friends.

Karaōke Lounge. It’s definitely a karaōke lounge. It’s a private room karaōke with a lot of different songs. They cater to all languages. My party didn’t use the extra Chinese system but we were tempted to play with it. The karaōke set up is Korean style so the controller is in Korean. The Hostess who brings you to the room teaches you how to use the controller. This is very important unless you are Korean or are used to karaōke places such as this. If you check into Unilocal you get some free fries; which was a pretty decent sized basket of fries. The song list is very extensive. They definitely have a lot of newer songs and a lot of classics. The price per hour for our group was $ 45 for a medium sized room. They said something about 15%. It was pretty nice and the cushions in the seats were leather or faux leather. I thought it was rather humorous that they list ONTHEBACKOFTHEDOOR the prices of things if you break something. I remember the most expensive thing that someone broke was a TV($ 1000). This location must have had some crazy visitors. There are a lot of downfalls with this place, there is no call system. So if we wanted to get more drinks we had to go out of our room and ask one of the workers to get drinks. The one thing that bothered me the most was that we had to ask for a pitcher of water. I’m pretty sure it was just tap water with ice but still having to ask for a pitcher of water is a bit pathetic. My friend did order a pitcher of beer for himself and his guest. But they only brought two glasses of water along with the beer. The worst part is that LITERALLY they do KICK you out as soon as 2:00am hits. I understand that it’s a business but they treated it like we were in some underground rave, the security guard flings the door open and says you gotta go. Not really the most professional way but I guess that works for them?

Worse place ever, if your not Korean, don’t come here! They serve only beer, no hard liquor, no cocktails, or wine!!! The songs, Videos, remote control and most words all in Korean. My group of girls were put in Room 17 next to a bunch of Kegs of beer just sitting outside the door. The sofa was ripped at bottom exposing foam n wood materials. They play stupid Korean video of Korean actors n singers while our group of girls tried following English song on screen! Ridiculous ! Never again and not worth money, time … Parking is a nightmare!

We come here every once in a while, mostly because they’re the best Asian-style karaōke game in town. They serve booze and food that’s not halfway bad. Gripes: The songs! Not a problem if you sing English or Korean. But if you sing Chinese, be prepared to deal with song numbers that don’t work and lyrics that have been changed by mainland China facilities. On our latest visit, we took the parents who have been singing karaōke all their lives. We chose to use the remote control dial pad because that seemed to give us the most variety of song languages. Guess we should have went with the touch screen system because only about 30% of the Chinese songs in the remote control database worked. The worst part is… songs my parents have sung for decades were suddenly altered with different lyrics! The words were in simplified Chinese but the lyrics were also completely different than the actual song. Terrible. Anyway, recommend using their touch screen system if you plan on singing mostly Chinese songs. Our mistake! Sheesh.

I took my kids here for the first time this past weekend. The staff is beyond friendly, and the food was quick to arrive and quite good. My only reservations are the song books and the aging surface in the room we were in. Perhaps if the books were divided by artist and genre it would help us English folk with children find songs. It was very hard to find songs in the Japanese/English directory as it is currently laid out. The remote was in Japanese, which actually did not bother me as the staff took the time to explain how it worked. We had no issues with that, and truth be told, if you knew your artist, you could find a song on the screen. It was just the book that we had trouble navigating. I will say that I have been to other karaōke bars that had much more extensive song lists. All in all, we would go back. My kids had a great time and we made some fun memories.

I’ve been here a few times and I just think it’s alright. It’s a nice place. And basically the only ktv in Irvine area but it could use some improvements. I went yesterday and all the small rooms were taken(we only had 3 people) so we got a medium room($ 45/hr + 15% service fee). The room was clean but the area under the TV screen looked like it was breaking apart and stuff. The panel where you choose songs had to be controlled by a mouse. I think the bigger rooms have touch screen. I think their pitchers are decently priced and they have a good variety to choose from. My main concern was that most of the songs I wanted weren’t available! The songs were in the system but they wouldn’t play. I went through at 3 – 4 songs like that. Some songs were also under different names so you have to type in the song and hope it’s there. They didn’t really keep time for us so we went a little over two hours. Good thing is they said we would still only get charged for 2 hours if we left right then.(We were already another 20 minutes into the 3rd hour) So that was nice.

Went there for happy hour and we called ahead to confirm that it was indeed half off $ 18/hour from 3pm to 8pm on Saturday. We get there and there was a bit of bait and switch. My wife and I had to get a minimum of one food/beverage item each. When we went to pay, they also added that there is a 15% service charge which they didn’t mention to us on arrival. Otherwise, I would have rate this higher. English selection is limited and rooms are very clean. Service was actually very good. I just think they need to be more clear upfront since even with the half off, it turned out to be pricey. We spent over $ 60 for 2 people for 2 hours with a pitcher of beer($ 17).

Got a medium room(2 mics) which was. 54 $ an hour with tax included I think?.. Either $ 51 or $ 54. We ordered the cheapest food bundle which cost 49 $ with tax included. Can’t really remember clearly too. Not sure if it also has some cents, but I know it’s 49 $. In the picture below; the bundle also has pizza which I forgot to take a picture of”(I think the size of the pizza is a little bit smaller than Caesars pizza. Can’t really remember) Anyways, experience here was great. Hella fun! Not so super duper private though which I don’t really mind. People can hear you and peak through your window when they walk through the halls near your room. Customer service is friendly. They tell you at the beginning that there will be a 15% service fee charge for certain things. Also, they instruct you on how to use the remote to operate the karaōke once you get to your room. It’s confusing, but you’ll get the hang of it easy. Song selection is pretty good too. Kind-of up to date. Parking is horrible here though at certain days. So many people with cars.

Decent place but I hate the wait! I’m not sure if karaōke attracts a certain crowd but I have never been a fan of some of the smokers that frequent the area. I’m sure it is just a coincidence but it still sucks. The equipment is decent. Obviously it has been used quite a bit but it works just fine. The selection is ENORMOUS omg. That’s a huge plus. The only thing that I’d point out is that their background animations are kind of weird and sometimes not even relevant to the song. I bet this is common in other karaōke places though, I’m not 100% sure). Other than the wait, this place is okay
