Servpro of Irvine

Stay away from this company. What they want to do is just tear down my house and get more money. They never honor their appointment schedule and charged you more than what they quoted. If you leave credit card information to them, they just charge whatever they want without telling you.

Avoid Servpro of Irvine at all cost. They act nicely when you first meet them, but they do not deliver on their promises. They gave one-​day notice for the start of the project. They are unwilling to give you a single straight answer. They do not communicate on the progress of the project or the anticipated end time, they are rude and they take much longer than planned despite no real «surprise» in the course of the work.

My HOA hired this company to do the emergency services due to a water leak. While they arrived in a timely manner and were polite, their services are lackluster. Rather than attempt to salvage any of my hardwood flooring, they ripped out (literally) nearly 200 square feet. The only area that was visibly destroyed was in the laundry room, and since they have failed to provide me photos of the other areas that were allegedly affected, I am inclined to question the need for the removal. The cuts they made on the flooring are so crooked that additional flooring will need to be removed, and they left the tongue inside a long strip of boards (again, requiring that additional boards be replaced). Moreover, rather than removing the caulking on the baseboards, they ripped them from the walls damaging the drywall. Frankly, it appears that they operate believing that the HOA or homeowner will hire them to do the restoration, and they perform in a manner that will increase costs of restoration, thus lining their own pockets.

I have contacted this company because World Restoration was booked the morning of my kitchen flood. The company is unethical and conduct bad business practices.
The survey I submitted had been altered by one of their employees. Someone had crossed out my initial rating, forged my initial, and circled in a more favorable rating. When we confronted their manager Rob about it, he was defiant and retorted why would they do that. We wanted to have them investigate this matter and told them we wanted an answer before we paid. We had just received the invoice that afternoon and were by no means delinquent. At that point Rob demanded payment using demeaning tactics. He first tried to patronize us by speculating that we have money problems then scare us by threatening to file a lien on our house which is extremely unreasonable because we just received the invoice a few hours earlier.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
