The quality is always good. However, it seams they’ve been cutting back on the meat in their sandwiches. Today, paid $ 8 for a turkey sandwich only to have two slices of turkey, but, over an inch of sprouts.

Consistently good every time I have stopped in. I enjoyed a huge Caprese sandwich and a San Pellegrino sparkling orange drink — so yummy! This location gets busy, but they always provide quick service with a friendly staff.

Expensive but fantastic! I love the turkey sandwich but I always customize it. It’s super convenient to order online, then you just pick up your meal from the shelf. All the soups are fantastic as well! The tomato soup is loaded with sodium but it’s super tasty.

Got coffee this morning with new co workers :) coffee was good, hot and well made. The order process inside was a little confusing and not well organized. The staff could have been a bit louder about being able and ready to help but overall was a good experience.

I come here for my office’s catering needs because it’s convenient(walking distance from our building). The sandwiches and salads are good but the customer service is inconsistent which is odd because it seems well staffed. On several occasions I’ve come to pick up lunches through their online Priority Pickup ordering option and something is usually missing from the order. I then have to go back down to the café to have them correct the order. It’s not only a nuisance but it’s also annoying that this particular Specialty’s can’t fill orders accurately. Today’s order was again incorrect(although there were plenty of cashiers ready and willing to take customer’s orders). Later I called their toll free # to let them know of their mistake and they said they would let the staff know. Also when I order breakfast items or cookies online and go to pick them up there is usually a note on it saying they’ve substituted it with a different item and don’t bother to mention any price differences to me. My company gives them $ 200-$ 300 worth of business monthly and so we may be looking for other options outside of our building area.

I’ve eaten here twice. Once I got a BBQ chicken sandwich to go and it was pretty bad. Cold and just not very good. Earlier this week I ordered a Caprese sandwich and thai soup and it was awesome. Not sure which experience is more indicative of how they usually are. Prices are okay and service has always been friendly. Will give it another shot since it’s right next door to where I work.

When I first started working near this Specialty’s location, I was happy to have what I thought was a great place to grab a quick lunch. I was wrong. To be fair, there are some good things about Specialty’s: 1. You can order online and pick it up in 15 minutes, which is very convenient. 2. The Cookies are good(but a TON of calories!) However, I think the bad outweighs the good: — They rarely get custom orders correct. This is very surprising because I almost always order online and my order is clearly specified(Most often I just remove the cheese/change the bread on my sandwich). — They run out of certain kinds of bread. I know some people think their bread is great… I personally think it is just ok, at best. — The turkey used for the turkey sandwiches is kinda slimy and tastes like standard pre-packaged turkey from the market, not fresh. — The soups are pretty awful. The Turkey Pot Pie soup is way to creamy and has a funny after taste. The only passable soup is the White Bean Chicken Chili, which I would not categorize as good, but just ok. And, when I order soup to go, half of the time they forget to give me the small piece of bread that comes with it. I only eat here when I am in a rush and starving because there are very few other lunch options within walking distance.

I did online orders before in the past. I did so today, and 45 minutes later, my food came out COLD. Not impressed.

20 minute wait for a lunch sandwich. I ordered roast beef on sourdough no mayo or horseradish. After 20 minutes, sandwich came on rye loaded with mayo. Had to get refund and leave. No time to wait for a replacement.

I am fully enjoying the online order and cubby pickup. I have all my information saved on their site, including location, favorites and payment info. Customizing my sandwich each time makes me so happy. They’ve never gotten it wrong! Favorite: BLT with avo and pesto. Also, apparently October is free cookie month. On orders $ 10+, you get a free $ 3 cookie. Their cookies are the size of miniature CAKES. Hello, sugar!

Good food Bad service! Waited 30 min to get the wrong order, while everyone that I ordered before got their lunch before I did. Smelt like piss too inside.

Good coffee, great service, amazing cookies. A little pricey for a coffee shop but they are in a business park where everything is expensive. I will frequent the place.

Kind of pricey, but it’s in a business park, so that’s to be expected. Coffee is Peet’s(great, but not as good as a regular Peet’s), sandwiches are very good and so are the salads. Awesome baked goods(sticky bun is my favorite). Overall very good, but 4 of 5 stars.

So I was hungry and in the mood for something small & delicious so I was in the area and Unilocaled this place it’s a hidden Gem nestled between corporate buildings so as I make my way towards the counter I can smell fresh bread in the air it’s intoxicating and draws me closet in I smell fresh roasted coffee there IA a self order station available for those regulars but since I’m a newbie I go to the counter and order a small vanilla iced coffee it was yummy & of course I see an array of baked goodies in the display case & get me a milk chocolate chip cookie Oh my it was a bit of crunch & softness and cooked to perfection this darn cookie was amazing something straight out of Martha Stuarts kitchen now moving on to my vegi roasted breakfast sandwich with is scrambled together with onions, tomatoes, zucchini, egg plant among a few other vegetables with munster cheese and cracked pepper Mmmm placed in Between sliced ciabatta bread it was so good! My taste buds didn’t know what goodness just arrived to fulfill the hunger monster within. This is good eats what a great way to start the morning so if your in the corporate neighborhood and want something good to eat like a sandwich or baked goodies or a good cup of coffee check this place out you won’t be disappointed Oh yeah you do pay for parking buy what’s awesome is they validate your parking ticket for the 1st hour how cool is that

I work near here and unfortunately limited to choices of places to go to for lunch. What I love is that you can sign up for an account through their website and place your orders online. Once you place an order, you can select a time for pick up and when ready, your order will be in a brown paper bag with your name on it near the front entrance. They also have kiosks near the entrance where you can place your orders instead of having to wait in line. Lunch time can be quite chaotic in there. Breakfast: I suggest customizing your bfast sandwiches to your liking. I personally like to sub out the bread for toasted croissant or herb bread. The ciabatta bread can be tough sometimes. All the bfast sandwiches taste alike IMO. Sandwiches: The best ones are the Turkey Pesto or the Turkey & Brie. BUT, be forewarned, these both are super high in calories. You are looking at a 1000 calorie sandwich here! All of the other sandwiches are average but what I like is that they all taste fresh. Salads: Avoid the salads if you can. I ordered salads here more than a handful of times and not once did the salad seem fresh. At times the lettuce was brown and was gross. Plus you are paying $ 8 plus per salad which is a rip-off for the quality. Soups: Extremely HIT or MISS. Most of the soups here are gross. The only ones that I will order if I need to is the Chicken Tortilla or the Cream Mushroom w/Chicken and Wild Rice. Watch out if you order when soups are low because you will get the bottom of the pot and they don’t care about that. Once I ordered the Chicken Tortilla and all I got were thin scraps of meat and all broth, nothing else. It was really gross. Do NOT get the Chili here, I had one bite and was done. Also, portions are REALLY small, don’t get the small size unless you want just a slurp of soup. No joke. On average for lunch look at paying $ 9, for bfast around $ 5 — $ 6. If you sign up for Specialty Rewards you get credit back for every 12 orders that you make. Not bad if you eat here often!

Cute little place to stop by for lunch. it has what most business-lunch-café establishments have: salad, soup, sandwiches, and some pastries. I would definitely pick this over any Panera/Corner Bakery though. The prices are practically the same, but I think the service is of better quality. The salads are definitely fresher and packed daily. So far I’ve had the Caesar, Chopped, and Fiesta salads. All of them are great for lunch.

Specialty’s Overall 4 Stars Gold medal — Great Service Silver medal — Great Beverages Bronze medal — Great Pastries Specialties has great service. All the staff is nice and friendly. The beverages here are so yummy. My favorites are the vanilla matcha green tea and the pomegranate berry tea. The pasties are so good. They taste and look delicious. Get the chocolate cream cheese croissant! HAPPYBAKERYING!

Came here for a birthday lunch with a former coworker. Up front, there is a kiosk where you can input your order and you assign your own pager to get buzzed later. During the lunch rush, it seemed a line was forming behind me(2 of the 3 kiosks were working). I opted for the caprese sandwich and the potato leek soup(this rang up to about $ 12). It was an alright meal(didn’t really get the saltiness from mozzarella I was expecting and overall, it was a bit bland) but I’m not sure I was happy with the fact that I blew 1000 calories on it. The bread is what they are known for and it is just alright in my opinion, a little too dense for me. 4 seaters are aplenty in this place but with a 5th person in our group, we had to pull up a chair and kinda sorta lock the walkway. There was a bigger table but it was already taken. Make sure you get validate… for about an hour lunch we still had to play a little over $ 1 for parking. All in all, I’ve had Specialty’s enough times where I feel like there isn’t anything too special about it.

The café is located in the office building, so it’s not very easy to notice it. There’s plenty of parking and they validate it, just make sure to bring your ticket with you. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. They have a huge display of pastries and the bottom shelf is devoted to «day old» pastries. You order, you pay, you get called, you sit down. Plenty of seating is available, and the café is VERY clean. The portions are huge, and I made a couple of substitutions to my order and they got it absolutely right. In other words, excellent customer service. Very polite, very accurate, very quick. I ordered the Turkey, Apple, Brie: oven-roasted turkey breast and brie with fire-roasted fuji apples, and arugula on toasted ciabatta(was amazing after I took out the cheese and most of the bread), and my friend had the BBQ Beef Sandwich: Fresh-sliced roast beef, crispy bacon, cheddar with tangy bbq sauce and spicy cole slaw on toasted ciabatta(she said that she loved the bbq sauce, but cole slaw was making it a bit hard to eat, because it was too wet). The portions are HUGE, we shared a house salad and each ate a half of our sandwiches and we were full. The only bad thing about this place is that it doesn’t have half sandwich half salad combo. Orange Poppy Seed Cake didn’t taste like orange and had a bit too much poppy seeds. Now my favorite part: the dessert. I saw that everyone on Unilocal was raving about the cookies and I thought that people just get over-worked at the offices, I mean it’s just a cookie, right? *Buzz* WRONG! It’s THE cookie!!! So I came in with no intention to get one for myself, but then I saw that they sell cookie mixes and that made me realize that if everyone’s talking about those cookies AND they even sell the mix, I should probably give it a try. Oh boy is everyone right!!! I am SO glad that I bought a milk chocolate chip cookie to go, I can’t even tell you how happy I am. They are SO good, this was one of the best cookies that I’ve had. I kind of want to come back just so that I can have the mix. Go to the café, get a sandwich, and get that cookie. Why are you still reading this? GOGOGOGO!!!
