This Starbucks location is quite small. It is about half the size of an usual Starbucks. The staff here aren’t so energetic or optimistic…“hi…what can I get for you?” They might be too tired to work but they don’t see as happy as other location I have been to. Haha. There’s not much space inside the shop so everyone here is crammed together at the exit waiting for their drinks. People here who want to grab some drinks and chat have to seat outside on the parking lot area since there only small tables inside the shop. Hmmm. The drinks here are good though. Their barista did a good job on my strawberry acai with coconut drink! :) I think I’ll come here again when I’m buying donuts next door at Donut Star! +plenty of parking in the lot.

This is my favorite Starbucks around town. I come here almost every day and always leave happier than when I walked in. The baristas get to know you and hand me my mobile drink without having to let them know I’m there. Everything is always fully stocked, super clean and friendly. There is not a lot of room in the store but there are tables right outside and of course free wifi.

This review is SUUUPPPEEERRRRR Long over due. Like almost a year! But when you received great service from a restaurant that was so great it’s hard to forget about it. I have received the best Starbucks drink I have ever had at this very location. Last year when Starbucks was having it’s half off drinks after 3pm, or so, I came to this location because it was the closest to where I work. I ordered a Caramel Frap with no caffeine and XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Caramel. And they delivered EXACTLY what I requested! Thank you!!!

It is small, so expect waiting in line in the morning. Parking is not that tough. I always park a little further down near CVS or Ralphs and have a little walk. I love the friendly staff. They are always fast, smiles on their faces, and never miss my orders. The quality is consistently good! Kudos to the Alton Square team! And thank you for making my coffee right every morning!

The«middle aged condescending rude woman»(the«manager») folks complain about in other reviews is indeed all of these things and the exact reason for my review today. I came in and ordered a non-fat, no whip, decaf gingerbread latte this morning. I received the incredibly rude response from this woman(Nixie, is her name)… «What’s the point.» AREYOUKIDDINGME?! First of all, who does this woman think she is? And why does she think her opinion is so important she must share it? Secondly, I realize that my order is a little ridiculous. And normally, you know, when I’m not pregnant and experiencing complications, I’d get normal extra leaded caffeinated beverages and hell, maybe even the whip if I was able to workout and earn it. However, none of this is currently the case. Not that it’s ANY of anyone else’s business; surely not the employees of Starbucks who are there to make what the customer’s want and pay for. Say it with me: «Customer Service.» Apparently ya’ll at this location need a major lesson in it based off of my experience and the comments of others on this page. I kindly informed the rude woman that I’m 5 ½ months pregnant and cannot have caffeine, and also need to watch my weight for baby’s sake. But thanks for making me justify my order to you. I’d like to remind you«kind» folks at Starbucks that I’m paying $ 5 for a cup of coffee and contributing to keeping you all in business. So the next time you think you need to share your rude comments, DON’T. I didn’t even realize I got trolled until I left and asked my friend who I was with if she heard what the woman said to me, just to check my sanity. She said she had, and her response is all telling. This is a friend who has no enemies and gets along with just about everybody in life. She lives around the corner and frequents the location often and she remarked that she can’t stand this woman and often goes to a nearby location to avoid her and her verbal assaults. Such a shame Starbucks. Such a shame that THIS is the kind of treatment we can expect these days when all we want is a dang cup of overpriced coffee.

Paid the drive through attendant, but she forgot to give me my drink and went on to have a conversation with an employee while I was siting in the window!!! Lol really? Who hired that?

Starbucks is great! This location has very friendly and quick service. The only problem is: do not plan to do work inside this store. The line is always long and the tables are up against the line so you get peoples butts in your face. If it is a sunny day, they have about five outdoor umbrella tables.

I hate to give a Starbucks just two stars but this experience kinda sucked… it all boils down to the guy(kid) working the register. He made one of my drinks hot when I ordered it cold and had to be reminded twice to get my COD… Sorry dude but you suck. Glasses and dark short hair

Parking sucks! …but not impossible if you’re determined to eat like me! Watch for heavy traffic; drivers and pedestrians move fluidly most of the time. Café latte made to order. Yummy Turkey Pesto Flatbread toasted to perfection. More food selections here due to its proximity to the many restaurants in the plaza. Super friendly baristas. Small indoor /outdoor seating. Can not accommodate large groups; also… does not offer privacy. ***Thank you for reading this epic review:-)

Not a friendly Starbucks. They made my order wrong, I ordered an iced white mocha and they gave me an Americano. Although mistakes are normal, the barista that I told about the wrong drink, she then has to say«well did she charge you for a white mocha?» I’m sorry but that has to be the rudest response, how should I know if I paid for the wrong drink? I don’t know all their prices, and I’m pretty sure any normal barista would just say sorry and remake the drink regardless. Never coming back.

I guess for every bad review there’s someone with a great experience. I came in at 3pm on a Sat and there was only 1 person ahead of me so I only waited 2 minutes. The service was great — friendly and with a smile– and the epitome of what I would want every Steebs employee to be like.

Love! Love! Love! this Starbucks, by far the best employees and atmosphere in Irvine. Walk in and your greeted immediately and after my first time my name and order was memorized«upside down caramel mocchiato«never a mistake, just how i like it when in a rush to get to work. These employees really enjoy what they do and it truly shows in their work and customer service provided on a daily basis.

If you like badly burnt coffee… this is the place for you. As for me, I don’t enjoy the after taste of burnt coffee in my mouth for hours after drinking it. If I wanted burnt coffee there’s a much cheaper option at McDonalds.

I accidentally left this review for my actual favorite location… it was meant for THIS location. Two starts only because they serve the coffee I so desire. This place could be empty and still take forever to get a simple iced coffee unsweetened. I seriously don’t understand. Perhaps understaffed, no idea. Last time I went here it took forever to get my drink and while I waited, I noticed it was so disgustingly sloppy and unkempt in the bar area(where they make the drinks). Before you jump down my throat and call me a douche or a**h***, I have every right to complain as I worked at sbux back in my college days and it’s simply just gross and you’re trained to be super super clean and organized. Perhaps my GM was just much more strict, but I found this a bit gross. I went back to this location a couple times to give it another go. Not sure why. Parking sucks there but hey, it’s on the way to the 405. Line was out the door and they had one on register and one on bar. Two in the back. Wtf? I understand breaks but if the line is out the door get ur butt back on bar and make drinks and man two registers. I simply do not understand. Last comment. The staff are never friendly and always seem overwhelmed. I really don’t understand. I now go out of my way to go to a different Starbucks on Jeffrey(14061 Jeffrey Rd, Irvine, CA92620) on my way to work because of the friendly staff and super clean store. Get your store together guys!

This starbucks sucks, period. The place itself is your regular starbucks(I am a major starbucks customer) so nothing lacking in the store itself. Why does it suck? The staff, The other time I came in here there was someone behind the counter talking rudely about a customer as they walked away and they couldn’t a crap about who they were helping. I came back in here today and the barista«Brandon» continued this tradition and was talking to the guy on the register and talking a bunch of smack about a customer that had just walked away. Not just a quick comment, but a bunch of comments, and not trying to be private about it all. Incredibly rude, uncaring staff. The floor looks like they have done a star walk or whatever it’s called these days for a good two hours or so. Crappy starbucks, all there is to it.

Blazing fast internet. Instead of having crappy AT&T Internet, this Starbucks uses Google as a provider, which is great! How many times have you gone to a Starbucks, logged onto their wifi and realized the speed is about as slow as dial-up because of sucky AT&T or because there’s a million and one people simultaneously logged on? This Starbucks is great because neither one of that has happened, yet. I consistently get 11mbps here! The coffee is about the same as you would get at any Starbucks, so that’s nothing new. The baristas are nice, as normal. Prices are the same, slightly a ripoff for coffee, but I actually study there, so it’s nice. Pros: FASTINTERNET Cons: it’s Starbucks

Forgive me but lately I’ve been a Starbucks fan. I’m sure it’ll pass. How I came to this point is a long story that I intend to blog about. but for now. let’s just leave it at that. I came here with friends because I was tired and needed a pick me up. It was late at night. We were heading back from somewhere and I was also feeling festive. I almost wanted to get a peppermint mocha but opted for the peppermint hot chocolate. Oh well. I had minimum contact with the barista. He just took my drink order and that’s about it. I hear so much about how chatty these baristas are that I was a little sore that he didn’t try to chat me up but at the same time grateful. I don’t always feel like talking. My drink was mediocre. Not exactly sweet either. Just sort of tasted dull and lifeless with way too much whipped cream. Ick. I wanted to toss it out but the fact that I spent $ 3 on it kept me from doing that. I wish I had gotten a pastry to even out the balance of flavors. Alas never again for this location.
