The UPS Store

the attitude and lackluster customer service was a turn off and i wont go here again. service is everything and when you deal with people who cant smile as if they have chronic constipation, that just does it.

I was so over dealing with FedEx for the last 8 years and decided to open a UPS account online. I attempted to process and print a label from my account at home this morning.
The UPS web site is cluttered and continuously misleading in comparison to FedEx. What I would have paid approximately $ 27 for early morning next day delivery via FedEx, UPS wanted to charge me $ 120. I said forget it, cancelled my online order and figured I would come into this local store and inquire what I was missing when doing it online. The ignorant lady at this store said that she only sends shipments from there and cannot help me if I’m doing it online. She said that her store was a franchised location and I would have to call UPS Customer Service. So, in other words, she refused to help.
Considering that’s the standard style of business she ignorantly decides to conduct, I will never purchase a product from her. I attempted to call UPS Customer Service. The person picked-​up and did not say hello for 5 seconds until I said hello. By then, I thought screw-​it and hung-​up.
I am definitely not doing business with UPS and sticking to FedEx. And, for the lady at the franchised location who refuses to help people, you’re in for a long ride considering your location and the fact that your landlord is Irvine Company. It’s only a matter of time before your lease expires and Irvine Company gives you the boot. That’s the way they do things.

Absolutely horrible customer service. No actual help offered. Wanted to charge $ 2.50 to print out a single shipping label. Worst service I have experienced in a long time.

I thought this store was ok. I send all my Amazon returns and ship all my rented textbooks at this place. No problem yet. Items are delivered on time.
I do agree with the other reviewers, the customer service is not the best. I waited at the counter for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me or helped me.
But this place gets the job done for me. Plus, it’s super close to my place.

I don’t know why this location is getting such a bad rep. I came here today for notary service and the lady was super nice to me. She was patient and very friendly. I must have came in on a good day.

I had the worst experience here a few months ago. I just started to use Unilocal so I thought I would check out this business to see what other people are saying about them. OMG!!! They have over 50 reviews, and the average of 1 star rating!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen any business rated this poorly. How could anybody be this bad so consistently?
I was just driving on Jeffrey Rd. and noticed the UPS sign. Since I had a package (all ready to go with a prepaid label on it) that needed to be sent back by UPS, I thought I would stop by to drop it off. Simple, right? NO!
I waked in, and asked if I could just drop off the box on the counter. The older lady with a hideous red hair with grey roots yells at me «don’t just leave it there, and I’m with someone else. You’ll need to wait»! I froze with a horrified look on my face, and eventually, a young tall blonde guy took my package from me. For the whole time, I was waiting for someone to help me, she was arguing with another customer. This miserable lady has no business being in customer service. No wonder they have average of 1 start rating. Apparently, pretty much everyone who goes in, gets verbally abused by her.
Stay clear from this place. I have a feeling they are going to go out of business sooner than later, though… Ugh…

These people are incapable of smiling. The worst UPS store I’ve been to.
No one greeted me when I got to the store. I came to the counter to drop off two packages and the lady, who appeared to be the store manager, just said: «Drop off? Thank you.» She didn’t even look at me when she said that. With that horrible customer service, I couldn’t trust that they would do their service right, so I asked her for the receipts. Shen then, without looking at me-​and working on her own stuffs-​pointed me to the other sale clerk and said: «Receipts? Over there.» I came to this one. He was nice. I got what I wanted. He also said good bye to me. However, there was no smiles whatsoever from them. I suppose the nice sale clerk got influenced by the lady, or by the environment that he worked at. Poor him.
So, if you don’t want to ruin your day, but still want to get things done, go to other stores!!!

Ghastly Customer Service.
What is it with these independently owned UPS Stores that attracts small business owners that have absolutely no business being in business? Every UPS Store I have ever visited made me feel sick that I gave them my patronage as I know it encourages them to continue operating.
Well, this store is no different. In fact, this particular location upped the bad customer service game to a new and despicable level. Every aspect of the interaction I had with both employees was somewhere between indifferent to just plain ridiculous and I eventually just walked out in order to get treated better at (yeah, get this…) the POST OFFICE. I am serious as cancer my dear reader, I proactively sought out government workers for BETTER service.
It is evident they do not want business at this establishment and I intend of give them what they are asking for.

Dropped off two packages on two days ago, Next Day Air Early AM ($$$$). They’re apparently stuck in transit still, and UPS Corporate is telling me that this UPS Store franchise is responsible for the missing packages. The tracking numbers indicate that they were scanned at this UPS store.
Because of this, we have lost
1. the blood of five different patients
2. an hour on the phone with UPS
3. an hour coming to the physical store to complain to the staff, who told me it was not their fault, and to go to the driver
4. overtime $$ for staff to re-​draw blood from patients
5. definitely over a thousand dollars
