Thingify

I’ve had this great idea for a long time, but I’m not an inventor or engineer so I had no idea where to start.
Fortunately, I found thingify after checking out the internet and Unilocal.You know, Brian and the rest of the team were such a great help.
Their step by step prototyping method made everything easy for me to understand and with their help, I have my first prototype in hand. Thanks so much!

Brian and the Thingify crew were beyond amazing. They were able to help me out on a last minute Christmas gift and got it to me before I even expected it. So as I was enjoying a bowl of noodles, an idea for a dual purpose utensil struck me! Sadly, at the time, I couldn’t do anything about this ridiculous/​brilliant idea. Forward a few days, I mention it to a friend and she refers me to thingify. So I decided to reach out to the gang at thingify. I was so glad I did! The staff was VERY knowledgeable. I told them my idea and they rolled with it. Knew exactly what materials would work best, shot ideas back at me to expand on what I wanted out of my little project. Very friendly. They completely opened my eyes to 3D printing!

These guys are legit! I work in the technology sector with an emphasis in conceptual design. I needed a 3D prototype fabricated out of a relatively demanding transparent material within hours. Ben and his boys (and gals :)) pulled through. The quality of the print was per specification, looked great and on time. Thingify continues to pull through, their technical expertise and customer service is top notch.

I reached out to the Thingify group for a custom fit cosplay item. Providing them with the 3d files, they immediately reviewed their integrity and alerted me to issues that could arise from the current models as well as provided suggestions on what to adjust. They provided me with detailed information on material type differences and even price matched a competitor. Overall I would rate their customer service a ⁵⁄₅ and judging by the samples I have seen printed, they meticulously handle each small piece with care and detail to make sure everything was just right. I will be a customer of thingify for life for all my 3d printing needs.

Worst company ever. Don’t trust them as they will screw you at the last minute. My final presentation got ruined thanks to them, with their broken and old 3d printers. I had to drive all the way to Irvine from DTLA to pick up a box filled with powder. And they refused to even give me a partial refund.

BEWARE!!! Be careful what you sign for with these guys. They will make you sign a waiver indemnifying them in case your 3d print doesn’t work with full knowledge that your print may not come out due to faulty machinery. This can cost you a lot of money. I have been screwed by these guys, it cost over $ 1000 for a project that did not even print and they refused even a partial refund. Do NOT use these guys, there are much better and ethical 3d printers out there!

I contacted Thingify after searching for someone to print my upcoming house remodel into a 3D model.
Ben and team were great to work with, responsive, thorough and detailed. Pricing was far, communication was excellent. And the final product turned out great.

I’ve been working with Thingify since 2013 and they have been extremely professional. My clients are large national businesses who manufacture products for big-​box stores and thus require product prototypes to be made within a very (very) short timeline. Thingify’s CEO Brian Arandez and his team are exceedingly knowledgable of 3D printing technologies as well as digital 3D (or «CAD») development.
In addition, Brian is very accommodating when it comes to your tight timelines as they also work at the speed of business. On countless occasions, the Thingify team has stepped up to the plate for me and have opened their shop on weekends, days-​off, and recent holidays just so I can finish my deliverables and make my project deadlines.
Thingify is not just a 3D Services company to me– I consider them to be my business partners. Stop by their shop and chat with them for a bit, you’ll immediately see how awesome they are!

Thingify is awesome! They have objet 3d printer and zcorp 3d printer, and laser cutting machine. Also, their team is very helpful for customers’ projects.

Referred to this company by a 3D modeler who was swamped and could not take on new work. They were sent specs. Despite requests to send email for final approval, none were sent. Instead they mailed the 3D rendering, which would be fine if it was a draft copy for approval. We made notes and took photos of where it was not built to spec and when we contacted them with corrections, they said that was the final piece and please pay the bill.
Unprofessional.

INCREDIBLE quality of service. We emailed at least 20 STL files to have printed on Thingify’s Objet machine. Billing was seamless and everything was ready for pickup the very next day. The price was great for the high quality parts we received.
In summary, Thingify’s nimble, low-​bureaucracy environment made them a pleasure to work with. Brian and Ben were super friendly and I can’t wait to get more parts printed.

I recently ordered from Thingify and had a very smooth experience the whole way. Brian was very responsive and talked me through the whole process and made sure we were all on the same page.
I had a quick turnaround, delivery was on time, and was stunningly accurate and a quality product!
