Super slow non English speaking service. Took almost 15 minuets to make two sandwiches. I also got two 9 inch subs that cost $ 20 bucks. Over priced for two subs. They charged me .25 per cheese slice. Come on it’s a sandwich and you’re going to charge me extra for cheese. I’m not sure how this place stays in business. The quality might be better than subway, but comes at great cost. I could have gotten 4 footlong subs for the same price. I gave it two stars because of taste and nothing else. I will not be coming back here. Just not worth the money.

Matching up Togo’s vs. Subway is a lot like comparing a regional chain like Peet’s to Starbucks. The regional player is significantly better, but it’s no contest when it comes to marketing. Togo’s never had a guy named Jared, it calls the second month of the year«February,» and it doesn’t have a store every quarter-mile. What it does have is superior sandwiches, with better bread than Subway and higher-quality ingredients. I had a six-inch Italian sandwich last time I was there, and it was excellent. My friend had a miniature Reuben for $ 3. It was on a smallish-but-not-too-small circular bun about twice the size of a slider and piled high with pastrami and sauerkraut. It’s a smokin’ deal!

This is a very small but overpriced location, that doesn’t have precooked pastrami — both my pastrami and sauerkraut were nuked. Took a while to get my order and no free refills that I can see.

After years of eating here, the manager has finally done it, we can no longer justify going back. We’ve been unhappy with service for a while, but the food just kept us coming back. I say manager not knowing whether he is the manager or the franchise owner. It’s the guy with the mustache that’s always there. As far as I was aware this location was good until approximately 2010(there were rumors it had changed managers but possible it had just made policies much less customer friendly). I had no problems before this so something definitely happened in that year. From this point on the workers always seemed less happy, the same workers that had been there before, seemed afraid of their manager, and to be honest, as a non confrontational person, I was afraid too, because it was always awkward and intimidating walking in this location not knowing how aggressive the managers behavior would be that day. As a result the workers were sometimes happy and sometimes grumpy with us(the same exact people from visit to visit). Anyways with these changes, they began stamping our rewards card(10 stamps/1 free regular sandwich) per visit instead of per sandwich. So we made our purchases smaller, and made each purchase one sandwich which made getting the same value more of a hassle, but really if a large family buys multiple sandwiches and gives MORE business, they should be getting MORE stamps in return, it just makes sense. Anyways it started with the manager rolling his eyes when we did this adjustment to the new policy, and tonight boiled over with my boyfriend who is more outspoken than I am. We walked in with our 9 stamps and got the 10th from one sandwich and used the card for the free sandwich, the lady up front seemed nervous to have to talk to her boss about it and had him come up and he came up with an annoyed tone simply saying«there was a question?». Hello nice to see you too! Didn’t realize my asking a question that requires you DOYOURJOB, needed such a negative response. He basically got in my argument with my boyfriend over how little or how much their policy made sense. Super professional. We’ve both worked in restaurants and customer service and know as paying customers who have easily spent a ton of money there over the years, we deserve respect from the people who take our business and our money, so we will be taking our business elsewhere. I’d rather have subway(same price range) or jersey mikes(a little more but much better sandwich) or even capriottis is another great option. But this guy has officially turned me off to togos. Don’t worry, my friends will hear about this appalling service too.

Love Togos, great food, great service it’s simply great! Yes, the word for the day is great. I do miss the old flavored mayo that they use to have but all in all this place makes a great sandwich.

I love this place! I work nearby and stop by here once a week or so. The food is delicious(#24 on wheat is my favorite), but I really love the service. It doesn’t matter who is making the sandwich, they always seem to sport a smile and take the time to ask how my day is going. Keep up the great work guys :)

Bought a couple of woodbridge warriors discounted card. First time using it here. Came in with my son. Got a total of 4 sandwiches. It’s buy one sandwich with chips and drink and get one sandwich free. When I went to check out, was only given one sandwich for free. Asked why since I have 2 cards and my son was with me. It was the owner, I am almost certain, kind of give me hard time that is per transaction. I told him I could pay separately. He mumbled something but ended up giving me the 2 sandwiches free. Sandwiches didn’t taste very good. Meat and cheese taste old. Never go back here again even with discount! Don’t know why they support the school but when you go there, they are not happy to honor the discount.

Went to Togos for the first time this week. I had the Italian on sourdough and it was delicious. My hubby got the pastrami with peppers and really liked it too. We will most definitely be back when we’re in CA again.

Whenever I’m craving a salad, I come here for their Asian Chicken Salad. They have two sizes but I always get the large. It’s a hefty portion but I do wish they’d add more chicken to the salad. It comes with a really good asian sesame dressing and for the price, the salad is not bad at all. They also have subs, different salads/wraps and soups available as well. They also offer a combo deal were you can pick 2 from half a salad, half a sub or a cup of soup for less than $ 8.

I should have updated this review long ago… Within 15 minutes of posting my review about a disappointing experience, I received an email from owner Gary apologizing for the oversight with my sandwich and offering a free sandwich on my next visit. I appreciated Gary’s quick and sincere follow-up and his willingness to make things right. I have visited many times since, but have not taken him up on his offer because it’s just not my style; I share reviews about food and experiences to inform, not to get free meals. Togo’s continues to be one of my go-to places for a super-fresh lunch sandwich, and I often take advantage of the lunch specials, which are a good value. See you soon!

So I haven’t been to togos in a while… but they have a gluten free wrap so I thought I’d try it out. I get up there and order a tuna wrap. They put a very small amount of tuna in… see that I asked if I could have a little bit more. The lady gave me a ½ scoop more. Or less. But I was happy because I thought she was doing it out of the kindness of her heart. She then turned to the 2 other employees and stared speaking spanish. Probably saying something not the best. Then I go to pay and they charge me for extra meat. Like 1.50 exta. 1. That passed me off. It’s not hard to say. «Yes I could give you another scoop of tuna but it will cost 1.50 extra. Is that ok?» I’m not going to waste anymore time reviewing but, they need to work on some customer service and communication. I won’t be going back that’s for sure.

I’ve always been a Togo’s fan and decided to stop by here for lunch today. Monday’s deal is a regular pastrami sandwich and a drink for five bucks. Pretty good so I got two. I was in and out pretty quick but the Latino lady working there was so mean. She barely said a word to me and rolled her eyes when I asked her politely if she could stamp my stamp card. She only gave me one stamp too even though I got two sandwiches. Whatever. I almost don’t want do go back to that one just because she was so rude. I work in the service industry for a living also, is it that hard to crack a smile?

I have always loved Togo’s in my opinion, they have the best sandwiches!!! Stopped in today for lunch and got a «Pick 2» combo, where you pick 2, Half Sandwich w Salad or Soup or whichever way you want to make your combo, Salad and Soup, Soup and Sandwich, you get it… I opted for a Half Asian Chicken Salad(which is really large for a Half) and Half #24 Turkey Avocado sandwich on Wheat bread. Combo price is $ 6.75(really cant beat that for the amount & quality of the food) This location also offers a Free 20 oz beverage with Check in(so of course I took advantage of that!) So I walked out the door actually paying only $ 6.75 for a really filling lunch. The location is convenient and clean, parking can be tricky, but that’s because the shopping center it is located in just doesn’t have enough parking period.

As always, very tasty sandwiches! Good location in a bustling and completely remodeled Heritage Plaza, right off Culver and 5 freeway. Can be hard to find parking at times, though. Friendly staff. Has wi-fi connection which came in handy. Had to update the post: while the sandwiches usually taste better, the prices compared to other nearby sandwich shops(even with coupons) are just a bit high for our budget.

This place kills subway but compared to a good mom and pop place it fails. I recommend the special on mondays which is a pastrami sandwich with chips and a drink for $ 5.50 cant beat that. On a nice sunny afternoon its a cool spot to eat outside and people watch.

I’ve always liked Togo’s sandwiches much better than the other sandwich chains. I usually get the hot pastrami but decided on their daily special today, which was a regular roast beef sandwich for $ 4. I got a combo(chips and drink) for $ 2.50 more and added avocado for a buck more. The server who made my sandwich was awesome! She piled on the roast beef and veggies, and cut the sandwich in half on a basket and visually it was a work of art. She was a petite, cute Hispanic and if you see her, have her make your sandwich. The roast beef was medium rare and very tender. The harmonic flavors of the meat, avocado, veggies and condiments was terrific! Togo’s don’t skimp out on the meat like Subway. The meat is the star of the show, as a sandwich should be. The interior is clean and there are 2 tvs to watch while you eat. Recommended!

Never been to a Togo’s before, but I took it to go cause their sign told me too. It was an ok sando, but nothing to write home about. They did make pretty damn good use of their check in offer providing a free 6inch with purchase of another. I’d never make one of these sandwich shops a destination, but if in a hurry and the only option like it was the other day I’ll take one to go again.
