I have been a customer of the Village Gallery for several years. Will, in particular has been absolutely fantastic in terms of working with me on my Michael Godard collection. I currently have 12 pieces that I have purchased from Village Gallery and as soon as I can find another one that fits the theme of the room I want it in, I will be adding to my collection. Excellent staff and very knowledgeable.

The Village Gallery has some really great artwork and they change things up on a regular basis. My favorite artist who has artwork in the gallery on a regular basis is Michael Godard. He is famous for painting olives and other fruits and vegetables in hilarious paintings. His attention detail and colors are really great. I forget who paints the ex-president paintings, but I really like those as well. The artist has them playing cards or pool. Really good art! Kincaid is another regular … not really my thing … but he has some good paintings. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Some time to kill while waiting for a table at a restaurant, so we headed next door to Village Gallery. Great stuff! Not a fan personally of the Kincaid items, so I skipped over those. However I love The Olives! Michael Godard rocks! Village Gallery has some other great art pieces from other artists as well and I know they do shows with the artists. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I discovered Thomas Kinkade at this cute little gallery!!! The staff were really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable people. They did their best to show me different paintings, and even gave me some information about the artist. I ended up taking home my most favorite painting within that hour. I walk through there on a regular basis now and the staff make you feel like you’re at home.

Not only do they have great artwork and incredibly helpful staff, but their framing shop is great as well. I had a couple of very delicate pieces that needed to be framed. The village gallery’s framing shop did a great job recommended the right wood, varnishes, and colors for the pictures. I really appreciated the personal help and attention.

The Village Gallery is a neat little find at Irvine Spectrum. We ended the evening browsing art by Michael Godard, Fabian Perez, and the sculptures by Kira. Sadly, the left half of the gallery consists of Thomas Kinkade. Don’t get me wrong. I think Kinkade has some interesting pieces and I’ll admit I’m fascinated by the latest Disney collection and would love to have a few pieces but I feel that Kinkade has sold his artist soul. When you see all that hard work on coffee mugs, coasters, posters, puzzle pieces, calendars, and basically everywhere imaginable it’s just not unique anymore and how do I know a piece I buy won’t also be in someone else’s home? Art should be unique and if you own piece, you should be the only one to have it. Maybe you won’t all agree with me, but that’s how I see it. End rant. This gallery is pretty cool. I loved the jazz music that was playing and it has a cool ambiance. I was happy to discover the works of Godard and Fabian Perez. I was particularly taken to Godard’s Last Martini — .

I just recently discovered this gallery a few days ago thru my aunt. The main reason for our visit was Fabian Perez’ work. He’s an Argentine artist with sensual and folkloric paintings. Many of his paintings are of torreros, flamenco dancers, and some of his beautiful wife. His work is a combination of acrylic and oil on canvas. There are a few other artist featured here, but I can’t say I remember or any made an impact on me. Definitely worth coming out to check out Fabian’s work.
