Zot Zone

Trying to find a proper billiards hall in Orange County isn’t easy, that’s why I’ve been coming here for years.
You can either go to some dive bar and try to battle it out for a chance to battle it out on an 8 foot table, sharing one bent cue with a bunch of drunken douchebags. Or you can go to some shady pool hall and risk being shot if some gang violence breaks out.
That’s why I gotta give it up to Zot Zone. They have eight 9 foot tables, plenty of cues and the prices are unbeatable ($ 1/​hr UCI affiliates, $ 5/​hr for public). Plus they’re open til11pm M-​F while school is in session.
CONS: Tables need new felt, but still playable. No beer, no weekends.
PRO: If you get thirsty, Anthill Pub & Grille is only 20 ft away.

Zot zone is amazing. Pool, video games, huge tv — all for just 1 dollar an hour!
I usually come here for the pool, but it is equally awesome to round up a few buddies and play halo online.
The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is that is super frustrating that it’s closed on weekends and during the summer. Come on y’all! That’s when I actually have time! If you don’t wanna pay someone: I’ll work summers for free =P
